Send us a message before making a booking request ## About us: I'm a singer and my husband is a writer and we have a guest house next to the biggest urban forest in the world (Tijuca Forest), in an area of 750 square meters, rising to Corcovado Mountain just below the famous Christo Redento state. We enjoy hosting nice, friendly and open-minded people, with whom we can share experiences and from whom we can learn a little bit! Our rooms: each room is independent from each other opening out onto the terrace. Our rooms are clean, airy and have a view onto the large veranda and the mountains beyond.The common area is a large open veranda overlooking the mountains with a dining table, washing área, sun-loungers and a shower, perfect for relaxing, sun bathing and to soak up the atmosphere of Rio. There is free Wifi throughout the guesthouse. The kitchen is only available for cooking for long-term guests, however, you are very welcome to use our dishes. Using the laundry room is not allowed. The house: it was built in 1938 and is a heritage building with lots of unique features. It is located in a charming, safe residencial area, 5 minutes-walk to the Corcovado trolley and with plenty of public transportation options to everywhere in the city. It has no direct entrance from the road but there is a small and ancient staircase to walk up to the house. Rates: Special rates are available for long term guests ( from one month).
