      1. Depart airport initially following sign to Centro, but staying to right, heading toward Linha Vermelha/Duque do Caxias, and Not Actually Go to Centro. 2. Always bear right until entering to left onto Linha Vermelha towards Duque de Caxias; heading away fromdowntown Rio. 3. After 6.4 km exit Linha Vermelha 90 degrees to right, and bear left onto Rodovia Washington Luiz, in direction of Juiz de Fora. 4. Remain on Rodovia Washington Luiz to toll (R$7.50 toll fee). 5. Continue on another 60 Km, climbing northward on mountain highway to Petropolis. 6. Do not enter City of Petropolis; veer 90 degrees to left, remaining on highway bypassing city. 7. Continue in direction of Juiz de Fora, avoiding left lane that returns down mountain to Rio de Janeiro. 8. In 1 Km pass Petropolis Bus Station (below to right) and proceed 18 Km past first Itaipava Exit. 9. Proceed another 4 Km to second and last Itaipava Exit. 10. Turn right at Stop and cross small bridge, truning right again at T-intersection. 11. Proceed 1 Km on Estrada União E Indústria to roundabout/traffic circle. 12. At the traffic circle, take the Left exit onto Rodovia Philúvio Cerqueira Rodrigues in direction of Teresopolis. 13. Proceed exactly 4 Km and Destination will be on the right (large wood sign "Ninho Da Arara" hangingabove white wall). 14. Turn right down dirt drive; property entrance/gate in 50 meters on Left.
