Pousada Villa del Rey
Paraty is a small, safe and calm city located on the Costa Verde, easy reachable from Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo by bus or by car (4 hours drive).
The main points of interest of Paraty, which make it the second most visited city of the State of Rio, are its beautifull Historical Center with its concentration of houses of 18th century and its cobbled streets (forbidden to cars), the lush and beautifull forest covering the mountains and the valley surrounding and the beauty of the bay with its thousand islands and beautifull beaches.
Our Pousada ("pousada" means Inn in Portugese) is located within a throw of stone from the Historical Center, in a residential neighbourhood, on a river edge. It offers thirty rooms with all amenities and visitors are welcome to enjoy the garden and the swimming pool or relax at the sauna. Our welcoming staff is English spoken and it will be a pleasure for them to organise your stay (boat trips, excursions, car or bike rental and more activities)
