The Cachoeira Inn is a Luxurious, Seaside Tropical Asian Style Guest House, located in the exquisite neighborhood of Ferradura, Buzios. The Inn's privileged location on Ferradura Bay’s eastern shoreline will indulge you with breathtaking panoramic views, unforgetable sunsets and most of all, Our Private Ocean Access.

The Inn’s oceanfront paradise will offer you excellent snorkeling along the multi-level reef, unlimited sea kayaking, sun tanning on our inflatable dock and beautiful tidal pools to explore when the sea is out. Don’t forget to enjoy the 9-waterfalls, 7-pools, 2-private beaches, sundecks, river, swim-up bar, dry sauna, BBQ-Bar Area, open air gazebo, innumerous botanical gardens, and 2 hanging chairs under the Coconut Palm.

There are 4 exquisitely appointed suites, each unique in design and décor. Three suites “Rhine, Iguazu & Victoria” are located on the main pool level, each boasting panoramic views of Ferradura Bay, the main swimming pool and the surrounding hillside. The Garden Suite (Jog) lays scene to lush gardens, a verdant pool and tumbling waterfalls.

Having a maximum capacity of 8 adults, allows us to deliver a truly personalized and tailored service, bringing everything you need right to your fingertips.

    After arriving at the entrance to Buzios "Portal in Manguinhos", continue on Av. Jose Bento Ribeiro Dantas until you reach Av. Parque, make a right. This is the entrance to Ferradura. At this point it's easier to look for and follow the signs saying Insolito or Ferradura Private. We are on the same street as they are.

    After passing the Police Station ~200 yards, make your first left. Continue down this road until you can make your first left at a 4 way intersection. Go left and continue driving past all the Qiosques "restraunts/bars" on your right side. Just after passing the Qiosques, you will reach a 3 way fork in the road. Go to the right and stay to the right, this is OUR ROAD, your almost there!! Continue driving past Insolito and Ferradura Private. We are just up the hill from them on the right side. Look for a small sign on the wall that says Cachoeira Inn.

  • Directions from airport:
    Best to use a MAP...After leaving the airport follow signs directioning you to Niteroi / Ponte "bridge". After you go over the bridge, stay to the left side at the toll boothe and follow signs towards Araruama and Cabo Frio, NOT Niteroi. Eventually you will end up on a toll road. After going thru the toll boothe follow the signs towards Sao Pedro da Aldeia and Cabo Frio, not Araruama. Once in Sao Pedro da Aldeia "30 min after the toll boothe" you will have to look for signs towards Buzios, not Cabo Frio. Follow all signs towards Buzios!! GOOD LUCK!!

    Guest house veranda in the late afernoon. What a great location to enjoy your favorite beverage and watch the days end.Our secluded cove in Ferradura Bay. The distant right is Ferradura Beach, where a myriad of water sports and beach side restraunts awaits you!! Just a 5 minute walk from the Cachoeira Inn.
    A warm fire on cool winter's day, makes the Living Room a great place to be.
