Banker Charles Sheldon and his wife Martha Trimble Sheldon designed this home to reflect their tastes and prominent role in the bustling business community. Great care has been taken to preserve that atmosphere in combination with contemporary hospitality and amenities.

We are in a wonderful location, only a short walk to downtown activities, yet surrounded by trees in a quiet setting up on a hill. We are located in Estes Park, Colorado, a mountain town at 7500 feet elevation, about 70 miles northwest of Denver. The Quilt House is a 20 minute walk from downtown, and 5 miles from the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park where hiking, wildlife watching, and scenic drives are favorite activities. We have 3 bedrooms upstairs, two with queen beds and one room with 2 twin beds, all with private baths. Each bed has a home-made-quilt. A beautiful view can be seen from every window. We also have a guest house with fully equipped kitchenette and hide-a-bed couch for an extra person. Children under 10 in guest house only. Full breakfast is served.
