    Mansion L'Estacion is located on the countryside, enclosed by a little forest and wetlands, inviting for a discovery walk and only at 4 miles from the center of medieval Bruges. The Ceder guestroom with double bed has a woody atmosphere, is equipped with central heating and wash basin and has its private bathroom and toilet in the adjacent corridor.It has a beautiful view over pastures and orchard. The Mansarde or family guestroom has a double bed and 2 singles with their private bathroom and toilet on the 1st floor. The room itself has a wash basin. Special attention has been paid to the quality of the linen and matrasses. A cosy atmosphere is created throughout the seasons from the radiation of the AGA-cooker. A welcoming drink is awaiting for you on arrival!

    Staying with Cecile at Lestacion for only 3 days was a unique experience - I arrived by train, was picked up by Cecile and she invited me into her home as if I was a friend. We had lovely conversations over breakfast - which included fresh cows milk and home made yoghurt - and she went out of her way to ensure I had a most enjoyable stay - the location is great - out in the countryside with a forest part of the property - she lent me a bike to ride to Bruges (easy ride) dropped me of at a nearby town to see more of the surrounding area and took me when she went jogging with a friend in another forest. Her house is amazing the way it has been renovated and decorated including some of her own sculptures - a totally unique experience and a wonderful hostess. Thank you Cecile ....     They are a lovely family, very friendly and accommodating. One of the boys even gave our little boy some basketball lessons in the yard! Staying a couple of miles outside of Bruges was no problem at all and in fact it was kind of cool seeing a ‘normal’ home instead of another hotel room. It took about 10 minutes to drive to the train station where one can park all day for 2 euros and then walk into Bruges central via a lovely park. We will most definitely stay at Lestacion next time too. Thanks for a fabulous weekend.

    We (our family) had a lovely stay at the edge of the woodland in the special loft at some hunderd meters of the headbilding. We slept wel in the good equiped wooden house. Good beds, a functional kitchen and some other nice details. We also wil remember the vieuw out of the windows and good service of Cecile and Emanuel including a good meal.

    Felt like home!

    Upon arrival, Cecile and Emmanuel made us feel right at home with a warm welcome and a delicious, impromptu dinner. The charm of their home only increased throughout the weekend with accomodating mealtimes, a walk around the nearby woods, and a warm campfire on a chilly but refreshing night. We definitely hope to return in the future!

    Cecile & Emmanuel were a delightful couple who catered to every whim! When we arrived, they welcomed us with a drink and Belgium chocolate. A marvelous weekend; we're definitely going back! Thank you!
