La Maison Jaune de Danielle

Danielle et Francis sont des hôtes très accueillants. La chambre est très agréable, la décoration est soignée. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux (viennoiseries). La Maison Jaune de Danielle se situe à 20 minutes à pied du centre ville, il y a également un bus au coin de la rue qui vous y dépose (5 minutes). J'espère y revenir très bientôt.

Mi viaje fue en pareja; y les puedo decir, que una de las mejores experiencias en Bruselas fue el hotel. Un lugar super acojedor, habitacion espaciosa, super limpia, y chic, con terraza, equipo de musica, television, y una mini cocinita basica, para poderte hacer cosas en el microondas. La habitacion tiene detalles muy lindos incluso las cobijas son de Ralph Lauren. El desayuno super bien, cada dia lo teniamos fuera de la habitacion a la hora deseada. (Bolleria, cafe, leche, sumo, tes). El trato fue exepcional, era como si nos hubieran hospedado unos amigos, Danielle y Francis son super amables y buenas personas. teniamos una entrada independiente y la ubicacion del hotel, aunque no se encuentra en pleno centro esta muy bien conectada, ya que a una calle se encuentra una estacion de bus. Les recomiendo tomar el bus # 61 lo toman sobre la misma acera donde se encuentra el B&B, (saliendo del B&B A LA DERECHA) y se bajan en la etsacion botanique. la habitacion nos costo 65 euros por noche, y los pagamos con una sonrrisa en la cara, ya que nuestra estancia fue magnifica. La cama es ideal, las toallas siempre limpias, teniamos calefaccion, y cuando llegabamos a dormir la habitacion estaba calientita. Danielle nos dio un mapa de la ciudad, y nos explico como llegar a las distintas atracciones. No olviden bajarse en Botanique y visitar los jardines..es un buen comienzo para su visita, ahi mismo encontraran un metro para moverse a zonas mas lejanas como las estaciones gard du midi y gard du nord. Recomiendo este sitio 100%

Je suis tombée sous le charme de cette maison jaune située dans un quartier magnifique et calme non loin du centre ville. Pour ceux qui aiment découvrir les charmes de cette ville magnifique, c'est exactement l'endroit idéal . L'accueil que nous réservent Danielle et Francis est chaleureux dans cette maison jaune du siècle passé décorée avec goût. La chambre donnant sur le jardin est spacieuse, claire et harmonieuse. La literie est excellente, nous avons donc bien dormi. Ce qui pour moi est très important. Nous avons pu aller et venir comme chez nous car l'entrée de cette belle maison nous permet d'être complètement indépendants. C'est un lieu magnifique que je conseille à qui veut aller à Bruxelles, Danielle et Francis nous ont donné d'excellentes informations pour nous faire découvrir leur ville et je les en remercie.

It's not in the center, but there is a very easy access by bus and metro. Danielle is an excellent hostess and really sweet. She provided us with maps and explanations about places to visit.The room is big and warm, the bathroom is ok as well, and there is a lovely balcony.There is a minibar,sink,a small kitchen.And the rest, you have to go there and check it out.It's was a wonderfull stay and I would certainly go back. Nous sommes venus un week-end de mai 2012 à Bruxelles, et nous avons énormément apprécié l'accueil de Danielle, ses bons conseils sur la ville, ses bonnes adresses, etc. Le vrai +, c'est que cette chambre est un vrai petit "gîte urbain", où nous avons pu cuisiner les soirs où l'on ne voulait pas aller au restaurant, d'où l'on pouvait aller et venir sans gêner les propriétaires, etc. Une adresse vraiment idéale, le joli studio de Danielle est une valeur sûre pour passer un bon moment à Bruxelles !

Un week end en famille (nous avons une fille de 4 ans) dans une maison chaleureuse et vivante décorée avec gout. Le confort de la chambre est au rendez-vous ainsi que l'espace, le balcon de la chambre et le jardin permettent de profiter du soleil (il y en a en Belgique), la (et le) cuisinier nous ont fait découvrir des plats typiques et savoureux. Le centre ville n'est pas loin en bus. En résumé un très bon rapport qualité prix chez l'habitant.

Estuvimos en sept 2011, 2 adultos + niño 9 años. Muy recomendable. Situado a 20 min del centro. Autobus cerca. Habitación muy limpìa y tranquila. Cama cómoda. Baño y cocina propia. Danielle es muy amable y atenta , aconseja en las visitas de Bruselas. En resumen, muy recomendable para estar unos días en bruselas

This B&B is fantastic. The only thing that might deter people is its location BUT the bus (#61) is right across the street and it's an extremely short ride to the city center. For the quality of the room, the cleanliness, the breakfast and Danielle (a most sincere, caring and overall wonderful person) this B&B has extremely high value. Hey, Rick Steves and Co.! Check this place out if you get a chance! After our three night stay, we were sad to leave.

I stayed at Danielle's over a weekend in March 2011 and managed to get much needed sleep like nowhere else, not even at home. Danielle is such a nice lady, with both English and French language skills, who makes you feel at home the minute you step into her well kept realm. The only guardian is her dear bichon, Cuba, who looks after his mistress diligently.Danielle's husband, too, has been extremely helpful with the UPS he lent me, so I can charge my computer, because my plug did not fit the socket. The room, the breakfast served in the magenta blue box outside the door, the music and stereo in the room, the garden outside the balcony, the Belgian coffee and bread, all make one's stay extremely pleasant and stress-free. Another thing Danielle is an expert in is the direction to get you anywhere, by any means of transportation, plus the tons of pamphlets on Brussels and what's going on. She even went to the trouble of drawing my itinerary on a map I could carry around with me. In a nutshell: excellent hostess and host in a dream house. Try to make it there for a holiday, though, to really be able to enjoy the benefits! - Daniela, Romania

If for your stay in Brussels you are not interested in staying in the very centre, and you rather prefer quietness, independency and a comfortable bed, so you have to stop at Maison Jaune de Danielle. In the very quiet and cosy neighbourhood of Saint Josse, a full equipped independent room with bathroom, fridge, microwave and a nice balcony leaning on the home garden. Danielle, the owner, will kindly give you all the relevant information to go anywhere and advice you wisely also in case of strike. We were really satisfied to stay in Maison Jaune! Anna and Donato

In the middle of January we with the husband have decided to visit the wonderful city of Bruxelles. Having used services of the given site, we have stopped the choice on La Maison Jaune de Danielle. At once I will tell that we haven't regretted about the choice. We have arrived late at night by the car and very much worried about a parking lot, but thanks to Daniell could leave our car directly at an input in the house. Daniell in general simply surprising woman. It radiates a positive, good mood, is always ready to help. In our room there was a separate input. On a table there were many maps of the city, various fair brochures with the information on Bruxelles. And in a case there was even an umbrella. Separately it is necessary to tell about the musical center with a considerable quantity of CD with fine classical music. For a breakfast there was an excellent orange juice, coffee, yogurts, fresh bread. In the following our trip we will necessarily stop only in La Maison Jaune de Danielle. Alexey and Irina

We found La maison jaune de Danielle on the B&B website when looking for a place to stay in Brussels. We count ourselves very lucky to have found this charming place, and met such a welcoming hostess. Danielle is a wonderful ambassador for Brussels, and makes you want to discover the city and its inhabitants. We loved our small apartment, which is the best way to describe the comfortable bedroom, kitchenette, balcony overlooking the garden, large bathroom. The fridge was well-stocked, the breakfast was excellent, and the bed very comfortable; there were tourist booklets and flyers waiting for us, CDs, and magazines on Brussels. Danielle even gave us some home-baked brownies to take with us for our return trip. To anyone who wants to feel at home in Brussels, we say "Go and stay at La maison jaune de Danielle". Merci Danielle!

Chambre confortable, jolie petite cuisine, douche lumineuse, balcon très agréable pour les petits déjeuners avec vue sur le jardin. Pour les marcheurs, le centre est accessible, sinon le bus est tout à côté. Bruxelles est une ville magnifique et pleine de superbes rencontres. This b&b it's located in a quiete street, about 30 minutes on foot from the city centre. There's a bus stop near the home, so in 5 minutes you can reach the city centre. When my boyfriend and I came to b&b, there was Danielle and her husband Francis to welcome us; they are very polite. Danielle showed us our room;it was very nice, with a soft bed, a radio equipment by wall (with a drawers full of classic's music cd), a big and coloured bathroom, a terrace where you can see the careful garden with its cats and the loving Cuba, the dog's home. In the room, on the desk, you can find a lot of maps and brochures of the city, museum etc. The breakfast is served in a little container (it put out the room's door, so you can sleep until you want) where you find bread and cakes, while in the room there are always coffee and the, a toaster, a fridge with yogurts, butter, marmelades, chocolates and juices. Danielle gave us all helpful information for our visit in Bruxelles and in Bruges. When we leaved, she gave a present; a box of biscuits!! Of course, I can advise this nice b&b for the quiete zone, and especially for the polite and warme welcome of home's owner! Merci, au revoir!!

The place is really charmful, especially the room with its small balcony and great view. I liked everything about the place. Danielle was very helpful and caring. We got the key to all the doors so we could go out and come back whenever we wanted to with no limits what was very covenient. We usually walked to the city center what took us about half an hour. But there's a bus stop nearby for those who do not like to walk. Great place for a weekend in Brussles. And you can listen to the music as you have a lot of CD's in one of the drawers. Amazing idea. We stayed at La Maison Jaune de Danielle for two nights in April and we enjoyed our stay very much. The BnB may not be in the city centre but it is worth the short bus ride. The room is absolutely lovely and cosy. It is clean and spacious. There is a comfortable queen size bed, a small dining table that is perfect for two, a small tv with good reception and a CD player. There is also a mini kitchen with sink, microwave, coffee machine, fridge and toaster. Danielle, our host, is such a wonderful person who made us feel right at home. I would definately say here again.

Attracked by the small size of this B&B and the reviews on the net, I booked one night at La maison Jaune de Danielle. I instantly felt a little bit like home because of the reception Danielle gave. She showed us to our room (there is only one) and that was another pleasant surprise. Very cosy, little kitchenette (for the breakfast), nice bathroom and a sweet bed. The whole room gives view on the garden. The next morning we opened our door and there it was, a nice breakfast that we could take in our room. If you have any questions about visiting Brussels, do not hesitate to ask Danielle, she will advise you amply! The neighbourhood is also very lovely. Very quiet and real nice houses and only a 30 minutes walk to the centre of Brussels!

I much enjoyed my three days in the cosy, refined and quiet B&B of very friendly, charming and helpful Danielle (and husband Francis). A beautiful place allowing you privacy and space as well as social contact if you wish. Thank you very much for making my short visit to Brussels so pleasant!

If you're looking for Chambre d'Hote in Brussels, you will not find better than this. Great house, cosy and comfortable room, ideal location, warm and friendly hosts and superb value. What more could you want! We stayed with Danielle and Francois in May 09 and loved every minute. The house is typical of Brussels in a quiet location but literally only a few minutes walk to the Grand Place. If you don't like to walk much you can get the bus at the corner of the street but it's really not necessary. Danielle only has 1 room which we thought made staying there rather special and when you see the room, you will be delighted. It is bright and cheerful, has it's own bathroom and a small terrace to sit out on and enjoy breakfast overlooking the gardens or have a drink in the evening sunshine. It also has a nice little kitchenette where you can do a bit more than breakfast if you want to. You do breakfast yourself, Danielle leaves continental breakfast outside your door in the early morning and you choose what and when to eat for yourself. It's a good arrangement. There are some nice little touches as well such as the CD player and a supply of classical CD's (take your own, of course, if you want to) and there are books and games etc. for you to use if you want. The fridge is very handy too for keeping cold drinks and fresh food. You will love Danielle, she is born and bred in Brussels and speaks exquisite French. She will give you lots of good advice about where to go and what to see and do her best to make your stay enjoyable. You have to try it to believe it, you won't be disappointed! Thanks to three prodigious sunny days we could fully appreciate the quiet, warm and discreet hospitality offered by Danielle and Francis, in a homely but nevertheless refined setting, a cosy room in which you may listen to classical music and you may sip a cup of coffee anytime you feel like doing it. It's a an oasis of calm only 20 minutes away from the Grand Place. The precious advices given by Danielle round off her rich and tasty breakfasts... So long, Danielle, Francis, Cuba and Angel!

Wonderful place to stay with a fantastic room, close to the city centre. Host (Danielle) is lovely, extremely helpful and even speaks good english!!! Would certainly recommend the room which was clean, secure, own ensuite, comfortable bed, and has everything needed - including kitchenette, TV, and even stereo with CDs! I am an American from Berkeley, California who stayed in this perfect Bed and Breakfast for four days. It's a private home with vacationers like me having their own room upstairs with everything included - privacy, quiet, private balcony, breakfast served everyday in the privacy of your own suite! Danielle and her husband think of everything. Danielle speaks perfect French too, so I was honored to speak some French with her and her husband. She and her husband were very discrete, warm and friendly. As the Belgian French speakers say, "J'ai recu un accueil charleureux!" Danielle actually helped me plan each and everyday. They wrote directions at their kitchen table each morning, making my stay even easier. They know the city center inside and out! The couple were superb hosts. PS: They gave me time to sample Belgian cuisine and drink in the central city. Ils sont tres gentil!!!

I spent three nights at this wonderful location. Danielle was so sweet and helpful. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Brussels. It was so easy to get into the center city and to the airport. The room was clean and accommodating and the breakfast was great as well. I will stay there again on my next trip. You can't beat the price or the hospitality. Stay here!

Lovely quiet and beautiful little place. Superb service and really friendly. Beautiful room with lovley decor. Breakfast is nice and you are left alone. !5 min walk to the centre of town, punctual bus service within 30 second walk from front door. Will definatly stay again. I stayed at Danielle's place for tree days and I was very satisfied with my stay. Danielle was extremely helpful with everything, answered my questions and helped me with directions etc. The possibility to use wireless internet was a great help. The room was cosy and I appreciated the possibility to brew my own coffee in the room. The breakfast, consisting mainly of fatty croissants, could have been a bit better quality, though. Especially I had wished more water and juice in the fridge since the tap water of Bruxelles is not recommended for drinking. Anyway, I warmly recommend this place for visitors in Bruxelles and I would definitely go there again on my next trip.

Danielle is really nice and sweet. And the room and facilities are better then we thought. We recommended so much!

I was on La Maison Jaune de Danielle a few days ago. The service was very good, the cleanliness and the room was excellent.

This is an excellent place to stay. Wonderful owners, great room and very nice atmosphere. Everything was great! We were very pleased with the room and breakfast. This is where we'll stay if we ever return to Brussels (and I hope we will). Mavis & Vito

Une superbe chambre lit double en plein Bruxelles à quelques station en bus du centre ville. Idéale pour passer un we de quelques jours en visite. La chambre possède une salle de bain privative, une entrée indépendante, une mini-cuisine tout confort avec micro-ondes et frigo si vous ne voulez pas ressortir le soir après une longue journée de marche, un petit balcon donnant sur jardin donc très calme pour bien vous reposer et l'accueil est excellent. Tout ça pour 50 euros la nuit petit dej compris...!! Merci pour tout Danielle, c'était charmant chez vous, on reviendra sans hésiter. séverine et rudy

Hi!, hola! Hemos estado cuatro días en este maravilloso lugar. Amabilisima la dueña, maravillosa la habitación, con tu microondas, tu baño, cerca del centro. Un desayuno increible. Todo genial!!! Además el precio es increiblemente barato!!! Thanks you to all for wonderful holidays!
