    This neo gothic character town house from 1929 was recently completely restored respecting the authenticity. In this nice district of the centre of Bruges we see beautiful streets and avenues with bumpy cobblestones and rows of plane trees, stately facades, and peaceful green zone. The B and B offers spacious rooms in a typical Bruges style, with comfortable and spacious private bathroom accessible from the room. ’Guesthouse Pickery'owes its name to the great grandparents of the owner, Laleman Ambroos. The family Pickery has been from the 19th century a well known family of sculptors, of whom many important works decorate the Bruges streets and squares to today. In the stately hall, the old family tree’s silently present in black and white. Imagine yourself in an old family hotel! With its location 10 minutes walk from the market, it is well situated. There is also ample free parking in the street, or on the Werfplein. This plaza includes a playground and landscaping where you can relax, or play petanque.

      Coming from the station: walking across the station square at the front of the station. Do not cross the street but turn left to the walking path along the ring road. Walk along the bike path under the trees, and then through the bike and pedestrian tunnel. You reach the end of the tunnel and turn right. Follow the footpaths in the park until the smedenpoort. At smedenstraat you cross the street and walk along the fortress park. You come to a large intersection. You cross it, and keep far left to get back into a green pedestrian zone. You walk past the playground, then along the waterfront of the old fortress called 'Stil ende'. You have arrived at the Ezelpoort. Cross the street and you will enter the Werfstraat. Walk the street and approximately 700 meters away and on your left you will reach the destination, number 103.
