NY

How to make a visit to Bruge more wonderful? Stay at Burges by Night. Dorine is the most generous and warm hearted innkeeper. The room oozes charm, the breakfast a feast, the location perfect, and the bikes free. I hope that we can return some day.

This B& B, was a jewel hidden away not far from town centre. We highly recommend it ! Extremely clean, lovely rooms, superbly friendly, excellent breakfast, an exceptional B&B. This comes from a well travelled couple.

We stayed 3 nights over easter and found Bruges by Night a great B&B. The hosts were extremely helpful in recommending good restaurants and bars and the room was large, clean and very stylishly decorated. The breakfasts were particularly good with fresh bread and different cheeses every morning. Overall, we couldn't recommend this B&B enough.

I recently spent an evening at Bruges By Night and found it to be a wonderful experience. Our hosts were helpful, accomodating, and paid attention to every detail. We were so appreciative for the 2 bikes that came with the room; mint condition, and an excellent way to see the city. I would definitely stay here again when I find my way back to Bruges.
Brussels, Belgium (BRU-National) 60 miles
• BY TRAIN: When you arrive in the Brugge train station, go directly to the front of the station and take either a private taxi or a city bus. If riding by bus: Take bus route 4 or 14 (1 euro per one way ticket). Ask the bus driver to stop at the Long Canal (Langerei) and have the driver let you off at the ‘Snaggaardbrug’ bus stop. From there it is a short three minute walk as you continue further in the direction of the bus route. The first street on your left will be the Annunciation Street (Annuntiatenstraat). After roughly 60 meters on the left side of the street at house number 86, you will reach your destination: Bruges By Night. • BY CAR: Once you are on the city ring of Brugge, then it will be easiest to reach Bruges By Night via de ‘Dampoort’, which is a city gate situated in the northern part of the city. At the ‘Dampoort’ there are two bridges: you can take the bridge that heads into the city and links directly to the ‘Sasplein’ which is a very small square. At this junction, you will pass the Bistro ‘Du Phare’ on your right hand side. Follow along the canal 200 meters further, until you arrive in the street called ‘Langerei’. Turn right into the street called ‘Annuntiatenstraat’. You are at your destination.

Philosophy of Bruges By Night: “We are also fervent travellers and greatly enjoy getting to know a city and its inhabitants in a more personal manner. Travelling also means new friends, experiences and cultural sharing; not simply a limited one way exchange. The concept of a bed & breakfast lends itself perfectly as an unrestrained and informal meeting place for people with diverse nationalities, cultures and social backgrounds.”
