Great place to stay in Bruges, close to historic square -5 min walk, but nice a quiet. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Hans is a very helpful host with good recommends for food, drink and sights. Definitely recommend and stay here again.

We stayed with Hans and Anna last summer (large family with children) and had a delightful time. They are warm and welcoming and have a beautiful home. Enjoyed our stay immensely. With easy walking distance to sights, restaurants, shops. No car needed - walked or took bikes everywhere in Bruges! Simply idea. Could not recommend more highly.

Our stay in Maison de la Rose was perfekt : we could arrive and quit quite late , we had many informations and books and guides about Brugges , breakfast was excellent in quality and quantity , service was perfekt and always with smile , etc etc A very good adress at five minutes by foot to the center of old Brugges. We loved this guesthouse. It had very beautiful spacious rooms and a wonderful and quiet inner garden. The host was lovely in ensuring we had all we needed and the breakfasts were delicous. We will certainly return to this guesthouse when we come back to Bruges - as well as being a beautiful place ot stay it is also perfectly placed to have all the sights a short walk away.
