    Frommers, Fodors, Berlitz... already more than 45 years guests from all over the world find the hidden quiet neighbourhood of the 14th Cent. St-Gillis Church. Just next to this monument (bells don't ring at night), off the main canal (150 yards) and close to the Lace School and Chocolate Museum (5 min walk). The mediaeval Grand' Place with its majestic Belfry Tower is 10 min stroll away. Thanks to a major renovation in 2000-2003 the 'Fevery' is ready to welcome you in 10 en suite rooms (8 with bath&shower and 2 with walk-in shower) all with cable Tv, Radio,telephone,safety deposit box and hairdryer.Free parking in front of the hotel but restricted to max 4 hours between 9am and 7pm. Private parking (limited) at 8,- euros/24h. Family rooms. (children min age 6 yrs in HS) ECO HOTEL since December 2009.

      E40 CALAIS-VEURNE-GENT or E19 ANTWERPEN - GENT and/or E40 GENT - OOSTENDE Exit 8 Brugge. Towards Brugge pass serveral traffic lights and 2 tunnels. After the last tunnel you will have 1 more traffic lights and a railwaybridge. Take the exit N351 - Brugge Az St Jan directly after this bridge. Continue for Brugge. At the 2ND crossroads you TURN LEFT direction to KNOKKE-HEIST (up north). Pass 3 traffic lights. After the 3rd lights you follow the BUS lane. After, 600 m you turn right and immediately right again into 'Walweinstraat'. Go straight ahead until the canal. Turn right. And take the 2nd street on your right (Annuntiatenstraat). Take 2nd on your left, Baliestraat. (you will see the sign for the hotel). Straight ahead and left around the St. Gillischurch. We are on the left handside.

    The Hotel Fevery's host, Paul, was very helpful, reccommending a nearby restaurant for us on arrival and calling a taxi for us when departing. He also allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours on the day of our departure and gave us the use of his computer to send an e-mail. He was very hospitable and spent time chatting with us at breakfast each day. We had a very nice stay at this comfortable hotel and would reccommend it to others traveling to Bruges.

    We stayed for 2 nights last weekend. The room was as described - small but very clean and an extremely comfortable bed with good quality linin. Paul was really helpful and suggested a tour of the city that meant we were able to see lots in one day. A quiet part of town but only a few minutes walk form the centre.
