  • Inn Details

Beautiful friendly B&B offering garden rooms in a private park in the historic centre of Bruges. We offer something special: peace, perfect peace in the heart of the old town, a short walk from the shops, museums, cafés and restaurants of Bruges. Our 3 double rooms are located in the garden and each has French windows on to the terrace with garden tables and chairs. The rooms are simply furnished in a shabby chic style with vintage finds and original artwork. The B&B entrance is separate, allowing you privacy and freedom of access. We offer baby-sitting, breakfast in bed or on the terrace (fresh bread and pastries, with cheese and organic eggs) and friendly advice on what you may like to do and see and eat while you are here. Please ask about discounts for families and last minute bookings. I am a well-travelled Danish/American writer and my family: we look forward to sharing our "lost domain" with you.

I recommend this B&B. When you enter from the street you don't expect such a beautiful garden. You feel that it's a loved place. The rooms are large and very nice. Even the fact that the bathroom is shared is not a problem: it' huge, very lighty and comfortable. Heidi Steffes is very helpful and kind.

A highlight of our trip. The room was roomy and clean and tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable, cosy bed. Loved the old maps! The bathroom is beautiful and I'd recommend a dip in the bath after a long day of walking around the city - perfect relaxation! We didn't have any problems with sharing as we tended to be around at different times to the other couple staying there. Breakfast was prompt, tasty and more than ample - delicious tea! Heidi is very welcoming, warm and helpful: A wealth of knowledge on all things Bruges! A great, inexpensive place to stay!

We spent the weekend here and had a great time. Very nice location in a quiet part of town, but only short walk to the centre. Great breakfasts, pretty rooms...Heidi (the owner) is very nice and helpful. Check the board for good restaurant recommendations! In sum: great, clean, inexpensive place to stay in Brugge

Lovely and very quiet, a great value for money

The B&B is situated in a lovely garden and it's very quiet there - ideal for light sleepers. Our room was small and cozy, and simply but elegantly equipped. The bed was spacious, really comfortable and not too soft. The bathroom is breathtaking, retro style and large with 2 basins. We had it to ourselves at the time, but I imagine it would take some effort to take a turn each if all the rooms were occupied. I recommend using the bathtub instead of the shower, as the shower screen doesn't close completely and you're likely to flood the place. Breakfast is opulent, excellent and served in the room at a requested time, with a maximum 15 minute delay. The owners are nice, helpful and speak excellent English.
