West End Guest House
-
Victorian heritage in the centre of the city.
Built in 1906 as a family home for the mother of the well known Vancouver photographer - George Edwards. A gallery of Edwards Brothers photos highlights Vancouver over a hundred years ago.
With over 40 years of Innkeeping experience Ron and Evan's focus is on hospitality. Each guest is unique and welcome. Evan is the recipient of the 2002 Moyra Turner Hospitality Award.
Even though we are in the heart of the city you'll still find the odd skunk and raccoon at night. In our Olympic Queen room this little critter has come to stay!
The Inns 20 foot wall painting Melora Edwards stands in front of Stanley Park's Hollow Tree with her daughter in law, Rosalie Webling, grandchildren and a famous Canadian - Pauline Johnson. The Hollow Tree has been a Vancouver tourist attraction for over 100 years.
The Pair and the Spare offers 3 bed combinations plus a large shower. King Bed King Bed and Day Bed Two Twin Beds or Two Twin Beds and the Day Bed.....hey that's 4 combinations! Located on the top floor of the house with a skylight, opening windows it is our largest room, sure to be the quietest.

4.0 out of 5West End Guest House Vancouver B.C.
September 15, 2011
It is always a pleasure staying with Evan and Ron (innkeepers). We have been to many B and B in Canada and the UK and find West End Guest House the most welcoming. We are comfortable and feel welcome to use the living room and the wonderful Pantry for afternoon tea and scones. Also for the occasional evening snack. The breakfasts are the best which always shows the work of an innovative chef who isn't afraid to use the best ingredients. We rate them 10 out of 10 in cleanliness and helpfulness.

I stayed at the West End Guest House for a week and felt right at home and so well taken care of in this beautifully decorated inn where every detail has been carefully thought of, from the delicious baked goods and always-available hot tea, the shared fridge where guests and keep their restaurant doggy bags, and the lovely antiques and touches of Vancouver history to the sumptuous breakfasts and the many conveniences in my charming and tasteful room.
