We stayed here for a single night in April to see a show in Vancouver. The location is extremely convenient and breakfast was outstanding. You cant beat the value - I wouldn't stay anywhere else for a trip to Vancouver.

You will not be able to find a better place in Vancouver: clean, quiet, friendly, great service, amazing location. Unfortunately, my schedule did not allow me to have their full breakfast, but the a la carte breakfast they provided for my early departure was very good.

We stayed in the North Suite and loved it! The room is large and comfortable and the bathroom is also quite large. Very clean. Our chef was Tanya and she did a fabulous job with the breakfasts and worked around our food allergies quite well. They also swapped out the down bedding at our request. The location is perfect: 2 blocks to a grocery store, 3 blocks to shopping on Robson.

Warm welcome from staff and they make you feel like it is your own home. Gorgeous rooms, very clean, and furniture is beautiful and antique. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Guest kitchen area provided with fresh baked goods and hot and cold beverages is an added bonus. Incredible 3 course breakfast allowed us to skip lunch, as we were so full! 5 stars, cannot say enough. We would go back again and again and recommend. So relaxing to stay here. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Perfectly centrally located (we were able walk every where), very relaxing rooms, excellent sherry refreshment in the evenings, and an OMG 5-star breakfast! This was our 2nd visit and will stay here every time from now on. I have a longer story about our first visit and obviously it was such a good experience that O Canada House drew us back again for this visit. Please consider O Canada House for your next over-night stay; the experience will be very special!

We absolutely loved it here. The house is incredibly welcoming and the location is perfect. the North Suite was comfy, clean and cozy. This was our first time to Vancouver, and this place really added to the character of this amazing city. All members of the staff were truly incredible. The homemade breakfast was delicious (especially the savory crepes!). We will be back.

What a great oasis in the city! This was my first visit to Vancouver and I wanted a more personal location than a hotel/motel. The rooms are great and the breakfasts were fantastic. The staff are dedicated to ensuring that your every need is met. I would recommend O Canada House to anyone travelling to Vancouver.

Delighted that we were able to find an outstanding place to stay close to downtown and many of the things we planned to do.

We have stayed at the 'Oh Canada House' several times The staff have been consistently gracious, welcoming, and hospitable. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I can honestly say that in the many years that I personally have stayed at the 'Oh Canada House' I have never been disappointed. The morning breakfast has always been tasty and well presented. On a personal note I love the little stuffed moose sitting on the bed ... So cute and sooo-o Canadian !! Bravo !!!

The house was a perfect location and close to everything that one would need. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the service was fantastic. Each morning the cooked breakfast had a menu change and was a highlight of the stay.

We really enjoyed staying at O'Canada House rather than a typical hotel. The house is charming, the sitting areas in the front and back yards are lovely and the location was perfect for exploring downtown, getting to the Sea Wall and accessing the water taxi. Susanne was excellent and very helpful. During our stay, I had to reach her after hours and she contacted me right away, which I really appreciated. The staff who made and served breakfast were also excellent and the food was very tasty and definitely exceeded our expectations. The room was nice and the bed and bedding were comfortable and despite the room being pretty warm we slept quite well. The only real downside was that our room (The South Suite) had a very strong odor which was quite overpowering. I'm not really sure the source of the odor (i.e. whether it was simply from the age of the house or from the very dated carpets) but either way, it was pretty unpleasant. If I were the owners, I'd seriously look at updating the carpets...especially if it meant that it would eliminate the odor. But overall, we give O'Canada House a thumbs up (and a double thumbs up if they replace the carpets).

Overall wonderful place and great breakfast and service, I thought it would have been nice to have the backyard seating area seats clean, they were quite covered with mess from birds.

My husband and I stayed one night in the Master Suite. It was great. Comfortable king size bed and large ensuite. Our morning breakfast was very nice, complete with fresh fruit and a frittata of sorts. Our stay was so brief that we did not have opportunity to sit in the backyard sitting area nor on the lovely front porch. Next time..and there will be a next time for sure. Well done!

Wonderful location, large rooms, outstanding service, cleanliness. Great breakfasts and 24-hour baked treats. Only downside (or upside, depending on your viewpoint) is 2 small resident dogs.

We stayed at 0 Canada House on a weekend in February. The host and staff were friendly and helpful, as well as appropriately unobtrusive. The breakfasts were excellent. We really liked that part of the kitchen was open 24/7 for guests and was stocked with a variety of teas and snacks, including fresh-baked goodies. It was nice to be able to make myself a cuppa tea and take it up to our room before retiring. The main salon was stocked with maps and other materials we found useful in planning our walking excursions. Our room was comfortable. Though most of the rooms were occupied during the weekend, we didn't hear other guests while we were in our room. Much quieter than we expected. Also, we heard very few street noises. The location is perfect for exploring Vancouver, including Stanley Park. We didn't use our car all weekend. Parking was convenient -- right behind the building. All in all, a very good choice for a Vancouver weekend.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at O Canada House. We loved our room --spacious and clean-- and the front room and dining area are beautiful as well. Breakfast was delicious and staff were kind and went out of their way to make recommendations for restaurants and entertainment. We also enjoyed O Canada House's location -- its only a few blocks from the big buildings/hotels of downtown, but is set within a more residential area with apartments, restaurants, and cafes nearby. Two very cute and friendly dogs are occasionally to be found on the first floor, and we had a blast playing with them!

The hosts at the O Canada were welcoming, and made our stay wonderful...particularly our 4 legged host Daisy! We loved having a quaint house to stay at while having downtown within walking distance. The food was amazing each morning, and snacks available all day! I would definitely come back to the O Canada house!

We stayed at O'Canada house for two days in early November. We were welcomed by one of the staff and were allowed to check in a bit early, which was nice after a flight from the east coast. Finding such a well-preserved and charming house within a busy high-rise filled area was a pleasant surprise. We stayed in the North Suite, and were amazed at the spaciousness and appointments of the bathroom. The room was very pleasant and quiet. Our first morning was wonderful - we were one of two couples boarding so we had plenty of time to enjoy Danny's breakfast, have a nice conversation with Susanne, and meet Daisy. Both Susanne and Danny provided us with suggestions for the rest of our stay. For the warmth of the hosts and the charm of the house, you can't go wrong with O' Canada house.

We did not expect to be allowed in to the B&B as we were earlier than the suggested time, but we were able to leave our luggage and sit on the lovely cool porch, while we waited for our room to be prepared. The Penthouse suite was huge,(almost wasted on just two of us) and air con kept it at a good temperature. The beds were enormous; so even for a tall man & average wife, comfortably spacious. Bathroom immaculate, well supplied with toiletries and a good shower. Breakfast was novel to us, varied and generous. All the staff, without exception, were helpful, welcoming and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. In particular, Susanne was always on hand with supplies for the unexpected incident.(my glasses broke and I needed to put a screw in them) and she invited us to make ourselves a cup of tea when thirst hit us (we are English, of course!) A memorable stay, which we would happily repeat, given a chance.

I spent a weekend here with my mom over the Lululemon Seawheeze half marathon. O Canada House has a great location, it was super easy to get around the entire weekend, and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms were nice, and everyone there was really friendly. The house has homemade cookies, bread, and other snacks around, as well as a bunch of different beverages. I think I probably ate an entire loaf of the pecan pumpkin bread while I was here. I can't recommend it enough, a super cute, reasonably priced place to get away to.

This B&B was delightful! Susanne and her staff ensured that our visit was spectacular. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Afternoon treats consisted of house made goodies. Happy hour Sherry and Chocolates were a nice touch. Parking was free. We never used our car as we were so close to downtown Vancouver that we walked to destinations. Our 1st floor suite was very comfortable and close to kitchen and breakfast. Best part was no stairs!!!! Will stay again when revisiting Vancouver!

O Canada House is so centrally located, we toured every sector of downtown Vancouver on foot; I'm 65, it it's manageable for me, it is for anyone!) The House is truly arranged to be your home-away-from-home: a porch and parlor inviting conversation, a designated area of the kitchen supplied with drinks, nibbles, etc. to partake "whenever,' a quiet back patio with fountain and period rooms with all of the modern conveniences. We stayed in the penthouse suite - the perfect solution for parents traveling with their adult son. We wanted family time and got it in the very spacious private third floor suite. We highly recommend O Canada House for everyone looking for lodgings that don't let you feel like just a visitor to Vancouver.

The breakfasts at O Canada were wonderful. The chef asked us about any dietary restrictions, and each morning our breakfast was delicious. An extra surprise was the muffins, cookies, sodas and juices that were available throughout the day. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. We would love to come again. -L.R., Connecticut

We stayed with our friend at "O Canada House" from August 2 to 4th, 2014 and we enjoyed our stay in this charming Victorian house! We were welcomed by Susanne who was very chrming and the consumate host. The property is well located and close to everything at a walking distance. We will return there on our next visit in Vancouver and would refer our best friends!

The reception at O Canada House was worth the stay already. The lovingly furnished rooms which were extremely clean, made the stay more than comfortable. The breakfast was "delicious". The snacks and drinks served throughout the day, round off the great impression. Moreover, the location is perfect for a stay in Vancouver. Very quiet and only 5 minutes walk from downtown.

Despite the weather being rainy and damp, our initial greeting at O Canada was filled with warmth. We arrived earlier than check-in time, but were told by innkeeper Susanne our room was ready and we were welcome to check-in early. Our West Suite was charmingly furnished with a very comfortable bed and antique furnishings. The nights were quiet despite the proximity to cafes and shops. We were able to walk everywhere from O Canada's location. Breakfasts were delicious and graciously served amid tips about what to see on and off the beaten path.
