Our stay was Exactly what we wanted and needed. The highlights were the private beach, fantastic views, warm hospitality and dolphins sitings at breakfast. Lorraine made us welcome, comfortable, and at home the moment we arrived.Thank You Lorraine for sharing your beautiful home and for the wonderful breakfasts. We have been recommending it to our friends and we recommend it to any travelers who want seclusion, privacy, quiet and a good margarita when you first enter the door!

We stayed at Casa Farolito last month and recommend it. The inn is quiet and beautifully furnished. It has an unobstructed ocean view and private access to the beach immediately below, which was great for us because, at low tide, we were able to take long walks on the beach. We stayed for a week and all of our breakfasts were delicious. This was our first visit to Rosarito and our experience was hugely enriched because innkeepers Peter and Lorraine informed us of points of interest and local restaurants we certainly would have otherwise missed. We definitely want to return to Casa Farolito.

My husband and I needed a getaway from our busy lives in LA and found Casa Farolito's website. After a short drive we were on vacation for a three night stay at this lovely B & B. The welcome margaritas were a perfect touch and our room was beautiful. We were so glad that we took the largest room facing the ocean. The bathroom was as unbelievable as the views from our private balcony. Innkeepers Lorraine and Peter were very knowledgeable about restaurants and activities in town. We felt very safe in both the gated community of the B & B and the town of Rosarito. Every local we met was friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Casa Farolito to others and plan to return in the future - hopefully for a full week next time!.

For our mini-honeymoon we were looking for a charming b&b on the ocean away from the tourist hordes of Rosarito, and Casa Farolito was more than we could have hoped for. The house is beautifully decorated by the artist/interior designer owners, Peter and Lorraine, with a mix of traditional Mexican and modern art. The ocean-front suite had its own private bath and living room, with full windows looking out at the ocean and our own private hot-tub. The cook, Maria, provided phenomenal full breakfasts--we spent each morning leisurely enjoying gorgeous fresh fruit platters and huevos rancheros on the patio looking at the ocean. Peter and Lorraine were more than helpful when it came to recommendations for restaurants and outdoor activities (and went out of their way to gather information on the specific activities that I had asked about in emails prior to our arrival), and welcomed us with champagne, strawberries, and flower petals strewn across our bed. Casa Farolito has three guest rooms, two of which are interior, and the ocean-front suite. While the ocean-front suite is more expensive than the other options, it is absolutely worth it to wake up every morning to a breathtaking view and the sound of the ocean waves.

My husband and I wanted to get away for a weekend and chose Casa Farolito in Rosarito, Mexico. We were amazed by the pictures on the website but they didn't compare to the actual house and views once you arrive. Lorraine and Peter were perfect hosts, making our weekend very enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious, served on the patio overloooking the ocean. Dolphins even swam by as we were eating! The town of Rosarito had great restaurants and shops, which we navigated with Lorraine and Peter's advice. We look forward to another stay at Casa Farolito as soon as we can.
