    Take the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) east from Vancouver to the town of Hope. At Hope, if you take the Crowsnest route, there will not be any tolls, you will see nice scenery, and have plenty of places to stop for food and fuel. From Hope, take Highway 3 (Crowsnest Highway) through Manning Provincial Park to the town of Princeton, continuing on to Keremeos. At Keremeos take Highway 3A to the junction with Highway 97. Turn north on Highway 97 to Penticton. The total distance from Vancouver to Penticton using this route is 395 kilometers. This is less than a 5-hour drive.

    When entering Penticton from the north, follow the high clay bluffs south along Highway 97 from Kelowna.

  • Directions from airport:
    Take highway 97, south from Kelowna to Penticton. At the north entrance to Penticton, watch for Westbench Drive, turn right and follow up the hill to Bartlet and turn right. Follow Bartlet to the top of the bench where you will have to turn right back onto Westbench Drive again and then make a quick left turn back onto Bartlet. Turn right off of Bartlett onto Sandstone Drive and proceed to Royal B&B at 1929 Sandstone Drive.

    Our newest executive one bedroom unit features king-sized bed, jetted soaker tub, steam shower, fireplace, large screen TV with movie channels, 2 recliner chairs, bar table & chairs, and more!The Family suite is equipped with 2 bedrooms and a separate sitting area. The bedrooms each have a king-sized bed (one can be converted into 2 twin beds if required). The sitting area is an open room with a view of the Okanagan Lake; and has a TV and fireplace. This is a great unit for 2 couples traveling together who do not mind sharing the "family style" bathroom with each other. Maximum occupancy for the Family Suite is 4 guests (children are included in the head count!)
    This is the master bedroom in the Family Suite. Besides the king-sized bed, you will have 2 Queen Ann chairs, and a large screen TV with movie channels.Panoramic view from Royal B&B! This is exactly what you will see standing on the guest deck, sitting in the hot tub, or from the guest common sitting/dining areas. Also seen from the Family Suite or the Kings Palace (our most romantic 1 bedroom unit).
    The Kings Palace is our most romantic getaway room. Gaze out your large picture windows at the moon shinning over the Okanagan lake, then wake up to the bright morning sun and take in a bird's eye view of both Okanagan and Skaha Lakes plus the city below. In the room, enjoy the fireplace below the large screen TV (and movie channels) or soak in the oversized jetted tub.Winter's night view from Royal Bed and Breakfast. Yes, Penticton is an all season destination. With Apex ski resort just 25 minutes away, Penticton is a great winter sports break. Don't forget the Winter Wine Festival each year is sure to brighten the winter season.
    The over sized jetted tub in the Kings Palace is big enough for two! Sit back and relax, enjoy the bright open en-suite.The second bedroom of the Family Suite can be made up with a king sized bed, or divided into 2 twin beds as required. Note the 12! ceiling in this room!!
    Personalized jetted tub in the Emperors Delight for those who like to soak..... But it you like it hot - try the steam shower!!! Either option goes great with the in-floor heating and fireplace in this executive style en-suite.
