A room with a view of the rural and wooded countryside on an island. What could be more romantic? This is a delightful, fully restored historic home with only a few rooms. The hosts took us in even though they had officially closed for the season and they couldn't have been more hospitable. We'd definitely visit again.

On arrival we were greeted by two of the absolute loveliest people ...our host and hostess, John and Eve. They were beyond thoughtful and always concerned for our comfort or needs. Eve, together with her sidekick and biggest fan John, turns out the most incredibly prepared and beautifully presented breakfasts I've EVER had to pleasure to lay eyes on at or devour. I took a picture of our last breakfast to show family because nothing I could say would do justice to Eve's culinary brilliance! Every breakfast was a testiment to Eve's joy of cooking and her wish to ensure the enjoyment of her guests. Corbett House is located in a wonderfully peaceful valley and the quiet was just heaven! What a fabulous way to end our vacation! I can't thank John and Eve enough for creating such an awesome memory for us!

I had a fantastic time staying at Corbett House, enjoying the warmth, style and generous hospitality of innkeepers, John and Eve Pollard. Such tranquil sleeps in the big comfy bed with crisp, line-dried linens! And such delicious breakfasts that would have some or many of the following: coffee, juice, fresh-baked treats like cinnamon rolls, savoury items such as omelettes or Eggs Benny, and probably the lightest, most scrumptious pancakes I've ever eaten in my life. The location of Corbett House worked well for me since I caught a seaplane flight onto Pender. From the B&B, I biked around to swimming beaches and also walked over to Hope Bay where there's a restaurant, shops and pizzeria.

What a delight to spend some time on Pender Island at Corbett house. John and Eve were so warm and welcoming, the food was totally divine and the house charming, comfortable and every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We felt truly spoiled and pampered - would not hesitate to go back, in fact, are planning to make it a regular get-away. If anyone has stress or difficulty in their life, this is the place to come to.

    Innkeeper Response
