Kal Lake Hideaway Bed & Breakfast Vacation Resort is a unique resort-style retreat located on the shoreline of Kalamalka Lake (one of the top ten most beautiful lakes in the world, according to National Geographic Magazine). We are in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in the quiet community of Oyama, British Columbia, Canada. Kal Lake Hideaway borders a bird sanctuary and is nestled amid six acres of park-like and forest terrain complete with access to our secluded, private beach via a 75-metre long boardwalk. Guests can take a peaceful stroll around the three acres of lawns and gardens, or try the easy walking trails (fall and winter seasons) throughout two acres of forest. Rest and relax at the beach or on the large T-shaped dock that also has additional moorage for your own/rented boat. For additional enjoyment and fun there is a 15 ft. canoe, two kayaks and a two-person paddle boat all available at no extra charge. Kal Lake Hideaway is a true getaway, yet remains centrally located between two of the Okanagan’s largest cities; Kelowna and Vernon. Guests will be close to all the amenities of urban life and the Okanagan’s myriad of tourist destinations and attractions, yet far enough away to experience a peaceful, tranquil rejuvenation.
