There is a lounge to stretch out on, table and chairs, and a convenience area with a TV (large movie collection), fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and dishes etc. From your separate level entry from parking you also have access to the pleasant yard for sitting out and enjoying the fresh Oliver air. While here you can have a choice of yummy breakfasts served at a time that fits your schedule. When we arrived, Leta gave us our choice of room, and even though we chose to sleep in the smaller bedroom, Leta encouraged us to enjoy the other room as well, where we were able to stretch out and relax on the couch with a cup of tea. Therefore we had our own little "appartment", with a small fridge and table as well. Leta was very helpful with recomendations of local eateries. We enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast, with Leta being very anxious to accomodate our needs.

I have stayed twice over the last two years at this b & b to attend my son's basketball tournaments in Oliver. The host is hospitable and the room is clean with easy access to downtown.

Earlier this Nov 2012 I stayed for four weekdays at Leta's B&B in Oliver, BC. It is in a quiet neighbourhood but is just a few blocks from the main street and a few minutes drive from two golf courses and several excellent wineries. Leta is quite knowledgeable about Oliver and the Okanagan. She tailored her breakfast to my preferences and ensured that I was comfortable in the spacious suite. She is also the sculptor of the historic statue of John Oliver near the Town Hall and main intersection!

I shared a 3 night stay with my sister and Mom at One a Kind B&B in Oliver. The location was very good for exploring wineries in the area. Leta's recommendations on smaller and less well known wineries were right on (no disappointments). There is lots to see in the Oliver area and these accommodations served as a goodhome base for us.

Leta's B and B is in an ideal location. It is close to Oliver's activity, yet in a quiet neighbourhood for a good sleep. My husband and I stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Leta is very helpful, and gave us excellent suggestions and directions to a variety of wineries, as well as to fabulous pathways for biking. Leta gave us a choice of rooms, and told us that she likes to have just one couple stay with her at a time. This was great for us, as we didn't have to share. We chose the suite that included a fridge, microwave, coffee and tea maker and table and chairs. It was immaculately clean and spacious. We loved the breakfasts and our long conversations with Leta each morning. The breakfasts were nutritious and tasty. We're looking forward to returning to 1 of a Kind soon. Sue

Two nights in Oliver with Leta were very comfortable and informative. She gave us great information on the local wineries and her ratings were very accurate. Breakfast was a delight and our English cousins loved the pancakes and her sculpture. We wished we could have stayed longer, maybe next time.

In April, 2012 my wife and I had occasion to visit Oliver for 3 days and nights, while close family were staying elsewhere in town. We chose this B & B for it's proximity to our planned activities, and Leta's warm reception to our initial inquiry by phone. She was eager to meet our dietary needs and offered a variety of food choices even before we made the reservation. On arrival we were warmly greeted and given the"tour" of the lower floor of her home which became our private area. The private entrance, comfortable bed and sitting area were appreciated. Breakfast time was flexible according to our needs, and the food was healthy, hearty, and very tasty! This is not a "5-Star" hotel with every comfort and ammenity available, but for us it was a perfect fit for our needs, and meeting Leta, our gracious host, was a bonus. Together with her reasonable rates this was excellent value for our dollar.
