Innkeepers Description:
Ed and I moved to Ladysmith, Vancouver Island in January 2006, from St.Albert, Alberta. We LOVE it here as any day we can get out and explore the ocean, hiking trails, theatre, awesome restaurants, wine tours, so many day trips from here in the central island. We want to let our guests know how much there really is to do here, and then there are the many islands close by Salt Spring, Thetis, Gabriola, Protection and New Castle Islands!

Directions to property:
Travelling south from Nanaimo on Highway #1 – Once you reach Ladysmith, you will turn at the 3rd set of traffic lights. On the right is Coronation Mall with a Safeway store and McDonald’s, and across the street, a Dairy Queen. At this intersection, turn left and immediately you will cross the train tracks. The peaks of our turrets and our Hawley Place B&B sign are visible straight ahead. To get there, follow the road to the right, and turn left at the next roadway, which is Gill Road. Gill Road is only about 100 yards after you cross the train tracks. Hawley Place is the only left turn off Gill Road, and brings you right into our property. Follow the driveway up to the left, and come up the walkway, through the pergola to our double wooden doors. Welcome!
