Wedgewood Bed and Breakfast

I have stayed in many of the hotels in Kamloops which are all adequate but this made traveling for business so much more enjoyable. I needed somewhere to stay for a week and it was like going 'home' each evening. Nora and Roger provide extra little snacks and goodies to make you feel at home. The breakfast included fresh fruit, greek yogurt and freshly made muffins. HooDoos Restaurant for dinner is a short walk up the hill. The best for me is that it is in a quiet neighbourhood so I had terrific sleeps. What more could you ask for? It was superb - Highly recommend!

Wedgewood B&B was a comfortable and relaxing retreat, as a stop over on our way to Mike Wiegele Heliski. We would definitely recommend the B&B to anyone staying in Kamloops. Roger and Nora were incredible hosts! They picked us up at the airport and dropped us into the middle of Kamloops the next morning for our shuttle. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept and the gourmet cooked breakfast with delicious muffins was delicious.

We have had the most amazing stay with Nora and Roger. We stayed with them with our 2 year old whilst we were house hunting. I can honestly say it was a home for us during this stay and my daughter adores Nora and Roger! The best breakfasts in the world! Thank you so much.

Wonderful welcome, huge room and en suite, very comfortable bed and everything spotlessly clean. Great shared facilities in the guest lounge. And a wonderful (huge) home-cooked breakfast. Nothing too much trouble. Would definitely stay again, and recommend to anyone.

We had a very nice stay at the Wedgewood. It was easy to find, extremely clean, and located in a quiet neighborhood within a few minutes drive of downtown. Nora and Roger were great hosts. We wish we could have stayed more than 1 night. The room was comfortable and extremely clean. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the Wedgewood.

We stayed here one night on our way out to Manitoba. We loved the home, the room the private bathroom and the common guest area. Wedgewood was spotlessly clean, the hosts were very welcoming and they prepared a delicious breakfast. We will definitely return when we go on another trip. We chose the room upstairs with a private bathroom which was adjacent to the room and not shared with other guests. The price suited our budget and we got very good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting another couple from Europe and chatting briefly over breakfast.

Sad that we only had an overnight stay - everything about this b&b is outstanding, Nora and Roger were excellent hosts and recommemded dining for the evening, nothing too much trouble. The room was the best we had stayed in definately had and the WOW factor, lovely quiet area just what you need for a good nights sleep. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kamloops. Wish I could go back someday

Stayed for one night on way through from Vancouver to the Rockies. Room and lounge area had excellent facilities. Lots of options offered for breakfast which was great.

Kamloops is too pricey, but this is a great place where you are at least getting nice space and wonderful views (from the big room). Hosts are lovely.

After a long drive it was nice to relax in a home that felt like home. I would return.

A lovely home, large cool bedroom, comfortable spacious guest lounge with internet access. Tea, coffee and fridge of cool drinks provided. Great suggestion for local dinner resturant and offer of complimentary ticket to a local atttraction. Would have liked a choice of breakfast menu and hosts preferred guests to eat at the same time.

We stayed one night to break up our drive between Banff and Vancouver. Nora met and welcomed us and showed us to our room which was glorious - a huge room and bathroom beautifully decorated. Located on a golf course we were able to dine at the club house which was a mere 5 minute stroll, a welcome relief after 7 hours in the car. We were sorry that we only had one night and departed the next morning after a delicious breakfast taking with us the home cooked muffins which we couldn't manage at breakfast! We would have no hesitation in recommending the Wedgewood to anyone one who happens to find themselves in Kamloops.

This was my first time ever in a B&B. It was very clean and Roger and Nora were awesome. They also gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The breakfast casserole was delicious. I would go back if I were in the area.

A great overnight stay in August 2012. A well furnished and equipped and comfortable suite with a lovely private bathroom next door. There is a large lounge for guests in all three suites to use with complimentary coffee, tea, cookies and a fridge full of soft drinks. The room with a desk top computer was handy, complimentary wifi was also available. Hosts were polite, welcoming and friendly with a good restaurant recommendation. There was a good range of delicious breakfast food provided in a lovely dining room. This B&B is in a large home in a handy but very quite location just 2 or 3 blocks off Highway 5.

The hospitality was excellent, very warmly with personal attention. Breakfast was delicious, wide range of courses all homemade. The owners gave us recommendations for entertainment in town with a map and instructions how to get along in the town.

Nora and Roger were fantastic hosts. The room was beautiful very clean and the bed was huge. The bathroom was first class with an array of soft towels. The guest lounge was perfect and there was a wide range of refeshments on offer to all guests. A woderful stay and would recommend the Wedgewood Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting Kamloops.

A fabulous experience. Our main floor queen room was perfect. We didn't make use of the well-stocked guest lounge but what a nice touch. The location was very quiet but also convenient to the Trans Canada highway. The breakfast was superb: coffee, fresh fruit, hot muffins, and bacon & eggs. Roger and Nora were delightful hosts. We used to stay over in Salmon Arm on our way from Calgary to the coast. In the future, we'll make a point of staying at the Wedgewood B & B.

Roger and Nora are exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Nora prepared delicious breakfasts that catered to specific dietary needs (vegan). King room was absolutely massive with a huge ensuite and walk-in closet. Home is walkable distance to the clubhouse and Hoodoos Restaurant at Sun Rivers and a very short drive away from anywhere else in the city. THE place to stay in Kamloops.

Wedgewood B&B is a wonderful place to stay. Both Nora and Roger were great hosts. The place was immaculately clean and so much space. The rooms are spacious and bright. The one room had an amazing ensuite bathroom. The lounge area for guests was also very welcoming with tea, coffee and cool drinks available. When we arrived a dozen fresh ginger cookies had been baked for us! We even got the recipe! Breakfast was really good with a tasty baked ommelet and fresh fruit to start. Homemade lemon and raspberry muffins finished us off! The B&B is located just outside of town but in a great location for the piece and quiet. Nora and Roger were excellent hosts. The breakfast was delightful. The room was nicer than we had expected. The upstairs lounge was comfortable and provided coffee/tea and lots of lovely biscuits. We stayed in Kamloops as a rest point on a long journey. The welcome and facilities at this bed & breakfast are second to none, and the hospitality was wonderful. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone staying in Kamloops.

Excellent on all counts. The guest lounge works well and is fully stocked with all necessities for travelers. Superb rooms comfy beds and a 5 star breakfast. Don't stay any where else in Kamloops. Better than any hotel.

We stayed here as a one night stop over on the way from Vancouver to Jasper and were really happy with our stay. It is a large house, the bedroom and ensuite are big and spotlessly clean with a very large shared lounge with sofas, tea/coffee facilities and PC/wireless internet. The couple are very friendly and the breakfast was just amazing (try the homemade muffins!). Kamloops itself is nothing to write home about and I wouldn't visit it other than as a stop over to somewhere else, but if you are going then Wedgewood B&B is the place to stay.

This place was wonderful. The hosts were warm and friendly,the room was large,well lit and decorated with a nice view of the garden. The sheets were devine, I am sure 1000 thread count or more. We had a great ensuite,with all the little extras like shampoo etc and even chocolates. The breakfast was superb and the hosts catered for my gluten free breakfast. Up the road was the golf club where we had a lovely meal and could walk back to the B and B. Other guests were staying and it was nice to sit together and chat over breakfast.The other guests had been staying for 2 months and loved the place. My only small criticism,or suggestion is that if you stay here and drive,get directions on how to access this property. Even with the aid of maps we spent an hour trying to figure out why a road that should join to bring us to the right side of Kamloops just didn't seem to exist.This is something the hosts may consider sending to anyone driving to the area.Even the other guests (some who were local) had the same experience. Not something you want when you are tired,been driving a long time,and not used to driving on the other side of the road!

We had a fantastic one night stay at Wedgewood on our way from Whistler to Jasper. The upper level King bedroom was beautiful and class, location was only minutes from downtown, the breakfast was delicious and perfect for a big appetite, and the hosts were charming and entertaining. Would definitely return.

The Wedgewood is our place of choice whenever we're in Kamloops. Roger and Nora are wonderful hosts and exceptional breakfast makers! Their home is very comfortable, restful and quiet and the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We heartily recommend the Wedgewood to anyone looking for a very comfortable b & b. We have stayed in many B&B's in Canada, US and Europe and this is one of our favorites.

If you're going to Kamloops, this is the place to stay! The Wedgewood Bed & Breakfast is in a lovely neighborhood high up in the hills with incredible views. The yard is beautifully kept and the house is immaculate and very nicely decorated. Our room was quite spacious with a large walk-in closet and a large bathroom just outside the bedroom door. The bed was very comfortable with beautiful linens. There is a wonderful guest area to lounge in with a small fridge, a flat screen TV, very comfortable couches and lots of books to read. We had a delicious breakfast of a lovely fresh fruit dish, blueberry buttermilk pancakes and sausages and lots of coffee and juice. Our hosts, Nora & Roger, were gracious & friendly and we would definitely stay here again. Derek & Dixie

We only stayed 1 night on our way to Jasper. The room was very nice clean and moden the breakfast was very good and there was plenty of it. Enjoyed are stay.

It's nice to stay at Wedgewood , their rooms are nice , specially the breakfast , Nora prepared us with her own baked Muffins , they are lovely . They also made their own fruit jams , all these are amazing to us. If possible , we should stay 2 nights there , specially Kamloops is a small lovely town we will like to stay around.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed out time at this B and B. The king size room was quite large with a great view. Highly recommend.

We only stayed one night but it was just what we wanted. The house is in a community and appears to be relatively new. The room was spacious, the bathroom was fresh but no tub. The breakfast was excellent and the Innkeepers were very helpful with answers to all our questions. We would definitely stay again.

I spent one night at this B&B and I've to say that Wedgewood is a very good place to stay! Everithing's perfect. Good breakfast, spacious room and, above all, extremely cleanliness. And Roger and Nora are so polite. The house is in an area surrounded by golf courses and all the neighborhood seems a perfect location for a movie. Everybody passing from Kamloops must spend one night in this incredible B&B.

My wife and I stayed two nights in the king room and found that the room was immaculately clean, the location in a quiet residential neighborhood and the breakfasts outstanding. We left early the second day to catch the train to Jasper and Nora insisted on preparing a breakfast to go. Nora also got up to wish us goodbye that morning. We would highly recommend the Wedgewood.

The room we stayed in was large, tasteful, quiet, well appointed, and immaculate. The home itself is beautiful, sturdily built, and quiet. Roger and Nora are personable, helpful, and professional. They will fill you to overflowing with your choice of breakfast foods. Not gourmet, but better than a diner, and anyone will find something to their liking.

While driving from the Rockies to Vancouver we spent one night in the Wedgewood B&B. It was a very good choice. The room was one of the top (out of nine) we had during our trip, quiet, spacious and comfortable.

We stayed for one night in early June as a stop-over during our honeymoon. Roger and Nora were excellent and the room was fantastic. The best night's sleep we had during our time in Canada (including a number of 5 star hotels!). Lovely breakfast, felt very welcome and would wholeheartedly recommend to anybody looking for a place to stay in this area.

We stayed with Roger and Nora last year and are staying again in June on our way from Victoria To Calgary. We are also staying there on the way back. This must be the best B & B we have ever stayed at. The breakfast is huge and Nora's cooking is first class. She makes homemade from scratch muffins every day and they are served warm out of the oven. Go there, you will love it.

Roger and Nora work hard in providing you with a hassle free stay. Great rooms, great breakfast just what you need. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I was passing that way. Thanks.

We spent one night in the "King" upper floor room and had the best sleep ever!! Wedgewood Bed and Breakfast is the first North American B and B we stayed in and we were most impressed. Much better than expected! Nora and Roger were terrific hosts, the place was well decorated and CLEAN! Delicious breakfast. We will return.

The Bed and Breakfast was extremely comfortable. The lounge upstairs offers a big screen TV, couches, microwave, coffee/tea facilities, and a fridge, plus a computer room to check emails. The owners are very friendly and make yummy breakfasts! Definitely a much better place to stay than a stuffy hotel.
