The Hummingbirds House is a beach house suite situated in the heart of the Cowichan Valley with panoramic ocean views of Satellite Channel on the South East Coast of Vancouver Island. Come for the fishing, golfing, hiking, whale watching and kayaking. Come for the wine tours, art galleries and fabulous restaurants. See herons, eagles, kingfishers, ospreys and hummingbirds. See the sun rises, mountains, waves and tides. See yourself unwind in this relaxing, peaceful setting.

We spent a fantastic week at the Hummingbirds House. The suite is beautiful, well appointed,with an incredible view overlooking the Satellite Channel. Steps away from the suite are stairs that go down to a deck right at the shore, where we sat in the evenings with a cup of tea, and in the morning, walked along the shore at low tide. The location of the suite in the Cowichan Valley couldn't be better. The area is beautiful and filled with artists, wineries and agri-tourism businesses, such as organic farms, a lavender and tea farm, wineries and even a ciderie. We spent time exploring from Victoria to Nanaimo and took an easy ferry ride to Salt Spring Island. There is great access to hiking in local and regional parks and a wide variety of good restaurants and local marketplaces. Something for everyone. Brenda and David were fantastic hosts, making our stay at the Hummingbirds House one that we won't forget. We will definitely return on our next trip to BC. Denise and Ray Gilbert
