    • Directions to property:
The airport is located on the sister city, San Jose del Cabo. It is an Aprox. 35-45 min ride between the two cities. Coming from the airport, keep going on the same road (Blvd. Lazaro Cardenas) straight trough town, once it reaches the Town Square Park ( aka "Placita"), it changes name to Miguel Angel Herrera Blvd (as it goes up the hill / towards Sunset Beach road), untill you reach a beautiful round Glorieta/corner of The Bungalows. From there make a right turn(goes downhill), and within 30 yards you will find yourself in front of our B&B. The front door will be unmistakable, since it used to belong to an old church and is a couple centuries old. If you feel you need extra assistance, please dont hessitate to call us for assistance.

My husband and I spent a night at El Nido at Hacienda Escondida in early November, and loved every minute of it. To be in Cabo San Lucas, with this tranquillity, was a real joy. The Palapa was romantic and truly special. Breakfast in the courtyard with the birds providing background music was great. After breakfast, we spent a couple of hours relaxing in our lovely room - admiring the birds, butterflies and flowers - before heading out to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special experience in Cabo.....

My new bride and I enjoyed our honeymoon at this Bed & Breakfast. While visiting Cabo in August has its challenges, the owners were some of the most outstanding hosts we barely noticed the heat. From the moment we arrived we felt like family who had come to visit a distant aunt and uncle. Having never been to Baja before, we relied heavily on the advice of Gary and Sochi with ZERO disappointments. The room provided every detail, very cold air, and a very comfortable bed. We booked a fishing trip and got our catch cooked for dinner one night, there was always fresh coffee available, cold bottled water, and a great breakfast greeted us each morning. El Nido is walking distance to the beach, the marina, downtown restaurants, and local shopping. We will definitely be visiting this adorable little B&B again in the near future, and highly recommend them to anyone interested in visiting Mexico. Excellent service, no detail overlooked, no expense spared in keeping their guests 100% satisfied.

My fiance and I stayed for 1 night at El Nido and it was a fantastic experience! The rooms were beautifully decorated, very very clean, and having the palapa roof and sleeping under the open was something else! The service was great! From the moment we arrived, we were greated by the staff and even offered a couple cervezas. And Sochie (excuse my spelling) made a delicious authentic Mexican breakfast in the morning. Because it's near downtown and we were in an outdoor room, it was a little noisy, but it wasn't too bad. Anyone who is looking for great hospitality, beautiful surroundings and delicious food should stay at El Nido!

When our taxi pulled in front of the beautiful antique wooden doors that announced we were at El Nido, we knew we were someplace special. Our hosts Jose, Xochi and Gary welcomed us so warmly, and went out of their way to meet all our needs, including our "special internet requests" -- we could never thank them enough. Our open air palapa room was truly charming, decorated in true Baja decor, with a profusion of lime trees and flowering vines. No TV, no phone -- heaven! From our own private hot tub, to the beautiful courtyard and its many areas for relaxing, and the birds! the entire facility is an amazing retreat. Xochi's breakfasts were a treat in themselves -- couldn't find better guacamole or tamales in all of Cabo! We found the location to be perfect -- an easy 10 minute walk to the Cabo nightlife and 15 minute walk to the beach. We had a wonderful and very memorable vacation -- and mostly because of Jose, Xoci and Gary and their well-tended bed and breakfast! We'll be back.

We had a wonderful stay in this amazing gem. It is a very small, private retreat that is close to the action but far enough away to remain tranquil. We stayed in a "palapa" room, which has open sides but a roof overhead. It was extremely comfortable and peaceful. The entire hacienda is beautifully decorated in Mexican architecture and antiques. A delightful breakfast was included with the room, which was definitely a highlight of the day. It is family owned, and they speak excellent English. We would definitely stay here again. Amazing!!!
