The Butterfly Garden Inn, formerly known as Don Hoel’s cabins, is the perfect destination for individuals, families, and retreat groups who want to relax, unwind, and find refuge from the stress of everyday life. Situated 10 miles north of Sedona in the heart of the magnificent Oak Creek Canyon, our tranquil inn allows our guests to experience the healing and restorative powers of nature year-round. Our 20 charming cabins range from small, one room cabins, to large, two and three bedroom cabins with full kitchens, each offering luxurious bedding, a cozy fireplace, and outdoor seating. A delicious continental-style breakfast is delivered in a basket to the cabin each morning.

The Garrisons were vacationing in Sedona last summer with their 6 year old daughter and discovered what is now The Butterfly Garden Inn. The inn had been empty for 6 years and was nearly torn down. The first time they walked on the property, Nichole and Frank looked at each other and knew they had to have it. Within a few months, they left their life, their house, their careers, their friends, and their family to begin an adventure of a lifetime. And hence...The Butterfly Garden Inn was born.

Minimum Stay: two night minimum on weekends - three night minimum on holidays

Deposit Amount Required: A one-night deposit is needed at the time the reservation is made

Cancellations: All Cancelations will be charged a $30.00 transaction fee. All cancellations require a 14 day notice prior to the scheduled arrival date. "No Shows" will be charged for the entire reservation. If a cancellation is made less than 14 days before the arrival date, the deposit will only be refunded if we are able to re-rent the cabin or cabins for the full time they were reserved, less the $30.00 per transaction fee. In the event that we are unable to re-rent the cabin or cabins, you will be responsible for the full amount of all vacant nights.
