10 minutes from Horseshoe Arena in Queen Creek!
on April 26, 2015
I came across the Orange Blossom Hacienda B&B while making reservations to attend a 3 day clinic at the Horseshoe Arena in Queen Creek in April 2015. 10 minutes away! Perfect.
Since I was going to be at the Arena all day, I wasn't so concerned about the details. But then my husband decided to accompany me and it was so nice. It surpassed all our expectations. The hospitality was outstanding. It was wonderfully clean absolutely everywhere. Loved the welcome dogs Buddy and George Kent and Jerry couldn't have made our stay any nicer. My husband hung out there all day while I was gone, napped, watched Direct TV, petted the dogs. He said he has never come home from a vacation SO RELAXED as he did from the Orange Blossom.
Kent easily switched rooms to a queen bed when my husband decided to accompany me, Since I had to leave for the Arena by 7:30am, I planned to eat at the arena. Much to my surprise Kent said they'd be happy to make me a breakfast burrito to go. I am not a foodie, so when I say the breakfast burritos were delicious, they were. They even got up early one morning so I could have Grandma Fetters' Pecan French toast. That was just one example of how they took care of us during our 4 day stay. The french toast was amazing.
The rooms already had nightlights, flashlights, bottled water, tolletries, alarm clocks, charging station for my cell phone and computer, fresh towels and a ceiling fan (AC too, although it wasn't needed in April) We were awakened to daylight, NO noise even with the window open all night. There is a beautiful pool for the guests and free wi-fi.,
Just a wonderful place to stay. It was as comfortable as our home.
Thank you Kent and Jerry for your hospitality!
Thank you so much for your wonderful words. We thoroughly enjoyed the talks with your husband while you were away, and enjoyed the time when you were around as well. We hope that you return to the Equestrian Centre soon and that you will stay with us again. We truly made new friends during your stay. We hope to see you soon.
Great start to Arizona vacation

Kent and Jerry, and their friendly, wellbehaved dogs Buddy and George, were wonderfully warm and welcoming. From the clean, cozy room with views of the orange grove and hills to the lovely indoor and outdoor spaces, we could not have been more comfortable. The delicious and hearty breakfast was accompanied by juice freshly squeezed from their own oranges, Yum!!
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. We enjoyed hosting your stay and hope that you return soon. We will always have a place at the table for you both.

Spent the first night of a week's vacation in Arizona at Orange Blossom Hacienda. A beautiful location in an orange grove, charming hosts and an excellent breakfast. We felt right at home. Our next visit will be more than one night!
Hands down the best B & B ever

This is a fantastic place. The owners are friendly, engaging and very accommodating. They have two wonderful dogs that greet you the way a good host should! The rooms are cozy and beds are comfortable. They serve orange juice from their orchard which is the best juice I have ever had! I highly recommend staying here for either long or a short term stay.
Perfect! Just what we were looking for!

As former Sunkist orange growers, we were delighted to find Kent & Jerry's place...right in the middle of an orange grove. Absolute quite and interesting conversation (or none if you so desire; they won't be offended if you don't want conversation). Dogs are the friendliest ever (both rescued, one an amputee which made a lot of points in my book). Don't think I've ever tasted sweeter OJ, and we use to grow our own, which we thought was pretty darn good. Something about heat and navel oranges that fit like a glove! Breakfast is wonderful and beautiful to look at!
Caring and sharing

Outstanding rest, breakfast and visit. To Buddy and George thanks for greeting every morning . We hope to visit again. Thank-you Brooks and Suzi
Thanks so much Brooks and Suzi. We hope that your trip home was uneventful and did not counter the relaxing stay you enjoyed in AZ. We really enjoyed having you and hope that we can see you again. You were a blessing to us.

Great place to stay in the desert!

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend in the desert. The room was nice and comfortable, the owners were extremely friendly, and the breakfasts were great. And, as a bonus, they have two friendly dogs that enjoy hanging out with the guests. I would definitely stay here again.
Buddy and George were so happy to meet you too! We loved having you and really look forward to your next stay. We will keep a plate on the table for your next visit. Thanks for staying with us.
Resting and nourishing your mind.

Buying a home here in San Tan Valley, my wife and I thought it would be nice to stay somewhere other than a hotel during our closing days of buying our new home. Kent and Jerry were so welcoming to us that it really made the final days of all the inspections, signings of a new home and a feel of the area, that can not be found anywhere. Their dog, Buddy, was the best dog I have ever encountered in such a setting of this lovely home. With all the orange trees and yes can't wait to get some of them when they come into season. There conversation was so helpful and knowledgeable. During our free time, they were able to give us recommendations of local stores for home accessories too. All in all, this was the perfect stay for my wife and I. We were able to keep everything in perspective and we stayed focused on what were doing. Hope to become friends with during our life here in San Tan Valley.
Thanks so much Bob. We know how stressful it can be to close on a new home and we are so glad that we were able to give you somewhat of a retreat during this time. We have made many permanent friends of previous guests that have moved to the Phoenix area, and look forward to becoming better acquainted with you and your wife as well. Keep us posted as to your move in date! We want to hear from you.
Really nice stay

Our family of five stayed at the Orange Blossom Hacienda for three nights while attending a wedding nearby at Encanterra Estates. We had a great time. Our hosts Jerry and Kent took really good care of us. And Buddy their dog is a pretty good host too. The pool, nestled in the orange grove is beautiful for afternoon swimming. My wife and I had an early flight back home, and Jerry made us some very nice burritos to bring with us in lieu of our breakfast. They were very tasty. We shared one on the way to the airport and had the second one for lunch during our flight. Our adult children would have had another lovely breakfast on sight since their flights were later in the day. Overall this is a great place to stay. Make sure to have a look at Kents' vintage Chevrolets in the garage if you have a chance as well.
Thank you so much R.W. We really enjoyed your family this weekend and hope to see you back soon to visit your family - or just to get away from the cold up north next year! Your entire family was a joy and we hope that we exceeded your expectations.
