    This is a family managed small private guesthouse with a friendly atmosphere. If you wish to experience Vienna as a traveler, in a very authentic and local atmosphere then this is the place you should choose to stay. We are located in the heart of the main shopping street, Mariahilfer Strasse, in one of Vienna’s liveliest areas. There are many places to eat, including coffee houses (from Starbucks to the traditional Viennese), bars, bakeries, restaurants, deli’s and family style establishments in the area. The Naschmarket is only a 10min. walk away and it is open 7 days a week. You will find fresh fruit and vegetable stands, international deli’s and food stalls offering inexpensive meals. On Saturday’s there is also a popular “Flee market”. The Spittelberg area, noted for its student bars and artistic shops, is about a 5 min walk away. Located in the same apartment block as our guesthouse, is a pharmacy, a general kiosk (or Tobacco Shop) and a large fashion store. When you check in, we offer a detailed outline as to what to do in Vienna, along with a city map, to help make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible. We are also happy to offer advice on eating out, museums, using the public transportation, events.....etc.

      This is how you can find us, if you arrive at the Westbahnhof: Option 1: Walk in the direction of the “town center” along Mariahilfer Strasse, which should take about 10-15 min. Option 2: take the under groundline (metro) U3 for 2 stops to Neubaugasse, take the exit to Neubaugasse and we are located as you come out of the exit. the Südbahnhof ( Southstation): take the bus #13A to the stop called Neubaugasse. We are located, across the street, as you alight at the bus stop. the Franz-Joseph Bahnhof: take the streetcar/tram #5 to the Westbahnhof and walk in the direction of the “town center” along Mariahilfer Strasse, which should take about 10-15 min or you can take the under groundline (metro) U3 for 2 stops to Neubaugasse, take the exit to Neubaugasse If you arrive by car, you will find several garages in our neighborhood, we suggest the one in the Apollogasse (Apollo garage) 3 houseblocks away from us for 12€/day.

    A very clean and modern room although bathroom was abit small. Very central and great views of the city centre. Landlady hospitable. No breakfast although a cafe nearby with reasonable prices.

    The room was large and clean, so quite pleasant for vacation. It was conveniently located near the subway and within walking distance to major tourist sites. The host Tina was very friendly. Guests were able to use the computer in the common area for internet access. After I made the reservation, I found out that no breakfast was served at all at this property. I felt somewhat misled by finding this property on www.bedandbreakfast.com. The other thing I didn't like was that they did not replenish cofee, tea bags and shampoo after those items were used up.

    I shall highly recommended the K&T boarding room to anyone who wanna have a convenience distance to the main sights and clean room at the same time.
