The Wildflower is a full-service B&B offering well appointed accommodations in a historic craftsman styled inn, with modern conveniences travlers expect today. In keeping with their tradition, guests are served a hearty country breakfast every morning, along with snacks and beverages throughout the day. Six rooms and suites, two downstairs, all have private in-room bathrooms. Three suites are available, making the bed and breakfast adaptable to friends and families traveling together as well as singles and couples. All guestrooms are attractively furnished with luxury linens, fluffy white towels & robes, and cable TV. Wireless Internet access is available in each room. Wildflower's location on the northeast corner of historic Courtsquare, has always been appreciated by guests who come to hear the old folk tunes "picked" on the square, as they stroll between impromtu gatherings of musicians. Many guests enjoy simply relaxing in rocking chairs on the wraparound porch, while watching all the activities on the Courtsquare.

The Wildflower B&B is wonderful with beautiful antiques, decor and food. But the best part of all is the proprietors...JR and Pam are great hosts and they help make everyone feel welcome and comfortable.

I visited Mountain View on a business trip and stayed at the Wildflower B&B for two nights. I was very happy with the service, Pam was so nice and accomodating. The room comfy, it was quiet and relaxing and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I would highly recommend this B&B.

A clean, comfortable room, pampering by friendly hosts, and great hot breakfasts to start our day made our stay memorable. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere, along with the music and scenery of the area. All combined for a refreshing getaway.

A bit more tailored guestroom in peaceful blue tones with queen bed. This cozy, corner room for two has many windows and offers a lovely view of the tree tops. It has a nice big bathroom with shower, too!

The feature most appreciated of this lovely suite is having two separate sleeping rooms and two private baths (one with a shower, one with a clawfoot tub). Each comfortable sleeping room, one with king bed and one with queen bed, is separated by the cozy sitting room. The sitting room features a twin daybed, comfy side chair, and an old fashioned oak desk to complete one's business paperwork or jot a few notes in their daily journal. Rate is quoted for double occupancy, each additional guest is $18.00 to be paid to property.

This was my 5th trip to the Wildflowe Bed and Breakfast to visit with Pam and JR. I really always enjoy my stay there. Can't say enough good things about visiting them and Mountain View.

We loved everything about our stay at the Wildflower. The accommodations are comfortable and clean, the owners are absolutely lovely and the food and treats are out-of-this-world delicious! Although, I do have one complaint: THEIR COFFEE IS ADDICTIVE. I can't stop thinking about it! Starbucks has a thing or two to learn from JR's special coffee blend. Seriously folks, if nothing else, go there for the coffee!

I was looking for a Valentine week-end get-away destination to surprise my husband and found J.R. & Pam's Valentine package which included tickets for Cupid in the Caverns. The proprietors went all out to make this Valentine weekend a memorable experience for all their guests. When we arrived Friday evening we found in our room fresh-baked cookies, a single rose, and a heart-shaped ceramic container full of candy, the latter which was given to us as a keepsake. The next morning a sumptuous repast, which included a gluten-free biscuit for me, was laid out buffet style in the sun-filled & cheerful dining room. While eating our breakfast, we were serenaded by local musicians who added to the ambiance of Wildflower, which is, after all, located in Mountain View, the home of the Ozark Folk Center! Saturday evening, after a delightful concert in Blanchard Springs Caverns by some more local talent, we were treated to a wonderful romantic candlelit dinner served to us by JR & Pam personally. Our hosts were friendly, personable and extremely helpful, even going to the trouble of making sure that I remained gluten-free during my stay! What more could you ask for?! What can you say? In a day and age where customer service is long forgotten, if you want to feel like a king and/or queen, if even for a weekend, I strongly recommend you stay with J.R. & Pam at their Wildflower Inn in Mountain View, Arkansas!
