Overall this was a great and relaxing experience.

Perfect touches everywhere, and the food was delicious. The only two suggestions I'd make would be more than one tiny trash can in the room, and to relocate the little wooden bathroom shelf so it's not in the way of the sink. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Mt. Victoria. Eureka Springs is a joy.

My finance' and I I came to the Inn on the evening of March 31st, 2012. We were greeted by Chris and right away fell in love with the place. Our room was very romantic and relaxing. We had ordered in advance the BBQ dinner and because we had ate a late lunch for Easter, Chris held off serving until we were ready. It was amazing. I highly recommend staying in for a romantic dinner. Don't bother going out. The next morning our breakfast was unreal and they are right when they boast that you won't be hungry for lunch. We will be coming back soon. Chris and Lisa are the best.

My husband and I, along with another couple, decided to visit Eureka Springs for his 40th birthday. We chose Mount Victoria based on reviews & pictures. When we arrived we couldn't have been happier with our decision! Mount Victoria is more beautiful than the pictures - outside & inside. I booked reservations several months before we arrived & Lisa went out of her way to suggest creative ways to celebrate "the big 40!" We all had champagne & cocktail shrimp in our rooms when we arrived (beautifully & creatively arranged) & black balloons (we thought it would be funny!) that were floating around the rooms & a "Welcome To Steve's 40th Birthday Weekend" basket for the couple traveling with us that she put together. Upon her suggestion, I ordered a birthday cake from their Pastry Chef & it was just delicious. She also made reservations for us at the Aveda spa (1 block away) & dinner reservations at Local Flavor downtown. Both were excellent! She's very creative, passionate, professional & makes magic happen! Chris' breakfasts made us feel like we were eating at a fine restaurant they was so delicious! He's very talented and they were some of the best breakfasts we've ever eaten! My husband and I have not had a better experience or spent time in a more beautiful B&B than Mount Victoria. Mount Victoria is a must-visit! Thank you so much Lisa & Chris for everything! You 2 are an amazing couple that made us feel welcome, relaxed, and at home. We will recommend you to everyone!

My husband and I loved Mount Victoria and will recommend it to everyone! From the moment we stepped into the foyer we were greeted by Lisa & Chris' smiling faces and a genuinely warm welcome. We instantly felt right at home. We loved the location as we walked to a great Italian restaurant one night a few blocks away and each day we walked downtown as it's also just a few blocks away. There is a trolley stop across the street from the inn if you're not accustomed to walking or don't like to walk the hills of Eureka Springs. Our room (the jackson) was beautiful and we loved our huge Jacuzzi tub. Each morning Chris was at our door delivering his AMAZING gourmet breakfasts! I can't begin to describe the food except to tell you the breakfasts are absolutely amazing and better than any restaurant breakfast we've ever had. Ever! The coffee (right outside our room) was some of the best we've ever had too; you can definitely tell they grind their coffee beans! Lisa & Chris went out of their way to spoil us with the beauty of their inn, amenities, location and oh, that food! Lisa's cookies are incredible too! Our vacation to Mount Victoria was definitely more than we expected and It was well worth every penny. We can't wait to return! Thank you Lisa & Chris!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room (the Clayton Suite) was spacious and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful details (we particularly enjoyed the rubber duckies for use in the jacuzzi tub). The proprietor Chris--we didn't meet Lisa--was friendly and helpful. If we visit Eureka Springa again, we will definitely return to Mount Victoria.

My husband I had the BEST time! Lisa and Chris were such incredible hosts making us restaurant-quality yummy, yummy, yummy breakfasts (soooo good!!) and cookies that are OUT of this world!! We loved our room, The Mazaret, as we did the entire inn which was casually chic and stylish! We could tell how much love and thought went into each detail of their B&B. It was like a professional decorator had been hired yet it was so welcoming and comfortable. Lisa did an amazing job making you feel so welcome in their Home. We've been to many other B&B's before where innkeepers "hovered" and you felt you "had" to talk to them. NOT here. There was no pressure to socialize and my husband and I were able to spend quality time together at this peaceful B&B - which is what we needed and why we planned the trip. We visited with Lisa & Chris when we wanted and were granted our privacy too. It was just so perfect. Per Lisa's recommendations and reservations she made for us (which was so nice) our dinners out were great. We walked a few blocks to an Italian restaurant, Ermilios, one night and enjoyed a restaurant downtown, Local Flavor, another night. Lisa went over the menus with us in our dining guide when we asked her and she was very helpful and informative. We can't say enough good things about Mount Victoria! We can't wait to come back! WOW!! My boyfriend and I have traveled all over the world (staying in the best 5-star hotels) and we've never been treated so well! Lisa, unfortunately, was out of town visiting family over the Easter weekend so we did not get to meet her but Chris did an exceptional job running the inn by himself and taking care of his guests. We visited with other couples during our 3-day stay and they were all very happy at the inn and with the choice they made in Mount Victoria. Chris is, simply put, an outstanding Chef!! The breakfasts were the best we've ever had and always so beautifully presented on the plates. Mount Victoria offers so many complimentary items and luxurious amenities (we loved the Waterford crystal stemware in our suite) making this inn a 10-star value. We will definitely be back! We're already thinking about our next visit! We, hands down, recommend this inn! It's impossible to write about every little thing that makes Mount Victoria so exceptional and outstanding - you just need to see for yourself! You'll never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs!

We had a nice stay at Mount Victoria. It was not overly ornate, as some B&Bs in Eureka tend to be. It's been described as "one of the only B&Bs that's not pink and purple." It's actually very elegant. We really liked the room. Did they think of everything? No. Did Oprah ever stay here? No. But did we have a really nice, quiet stay which is exactly what we were looking for? Yes. The breakfast was phenomenal, probably the best part of our stay. We did miss having a shower. We really liked the location - very near to everything but off by itself so it was quiet. I would probably stay here again, but definitely would if we could get a better rate.

We are sorry you did not understand this or read this. Suite descriptions are on the web site and there are suites that offer showers. We try, every day, to exceed expectations and think of everything. If something was amiss during this guest's stay, and had been brought to our attention, we would have done everything possible to correct it. Our full gourmet breakfast, endless amenities and quality of our inn do not allow us to offer Motel rates. Our rates are comparable to other quality B&B's in Eureka Springs. This was a wonderful place with amazing food!

My husband and I needed a very belated Valentine's get-away and booked the Bogie and Bacall package in one of the 2nd floor suites. We cannot say enough great things. It was our first trip to Eureka Springs and the package and the Inn itself gave us the perfect combination of relaxation and fun activities all within a short walk. We will DEFINITELY be back! Breakfast was INCREDIBLE. We were shocked to learn that the suite bed was more comfortable than our tempurpedic at home! My husband is still talking about it.

The breakfast was awesome both to eat and to look at. A work of art visually and oh so good.

What a wonderful, relaxing time, after a couple of hard weeks in the "real world"! Enjoyed watching movies in bed and basking in the jacuzzi... and getting fabulous breakfasts brought right to our room every morning! Heaven!

We planne dour wedding in just a few weeks notice, and chose Mount Victoria to stay, and perform the ceremony. It was fabulous! Lisa and Chris did an amazing job with the venue, flowers, and the Minister. -Beth and Bryan Murray

My wife and I have been to many B&Bs throughout the country and Mount Victoria is most definitely at the very top of our list! We would return and we will! The service Chris and Lisa provided was first class and the magnificent gourmet breakfasts will knock your slippers off! Our room was delightful with an invitingly comfortable bed and relaxing Jacuzzi tub. The historic inn (on the National Register of Historic Places) is just so handsome and well maintained. We loved our private veranda (second floor) where we ate breakfast (even though it was a bit cool) and enjoyed a bottle of wine in the afternoons as we relaxed and watched the squirrels in the trees eat the corn Chris put out for them - it was free entertainment! The locale is perfect - a quick walk to downtown Eureka Springs and only blocks from restaurants. Don't miss this B&B if you are planning a trip to Eureka Springs as you'll be disappointed if you stay somewhere else. We know we would have been!

We recently stayed at Mount Victoria over a weekend with a group of six / 3 couples. All of our rooms were spacious (we had the second floor veranda rooms and the Clayton on the 3rd floor) and beautifully decorated by Lisa. Chris' breakfast are out of this world! We travel often and have never had such good breakfasts! We loved Lisa's cookies every day and access to all the drinks and ice machine. Mount Victoria's location is excellent - a quick walk to downtown where all the shops are and just a few blocks away from two popular restaurants, Ermilio's and The Rogue's Manor - both delicious. We appreciated the fact al the rooms have dining guides with laminated menus so we were able to look at the menus from various restaurants to make a decision. It was really a nice "extra" and Lisa & Chris were very helpful with their suggestions as well. Lisa & Chris are down-home friendly and very gracious hosts. I highly recommend Mount Victoria. We felt pampered, relaxed and rested and all 6 of us left very, very happy! We'll be back!

This beyond fabulous B&B was beautiful. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there this past weekend and we wish we'd had more time to spend at Mount Victoria. Lisa and Chris are dynamic innkeepers and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We stayed in the Clayton suite and it was the King of comfort! From the beautiful 4 poster King bed to the luxurious bedding to the huge jacuzzi to the soft robes to THE most delicious breakfasts to all the amenities that were needed! We loved Lisa's cookies every day and it felt like home having access to cokes, waters, ice and a huge DVD selection 24 hours a day. My wife really appreciated the wine chiller they have for guests so she could store and chill her chardonnay. Mount Victoria has a great location and we were able to walk everywhere. If you don't like to walk, there's a trolley stop across the street. We will be back! This was our first B&B and it beyond exceeded expectations! Thank you Lisa & Chris!

We are SO glad we found Mount Victoria! My husband and I stayed for 3 days and loved every minute of it! Our room (Jackson) was magazine-quality beautiful, our big Jacuzzi was perfect (they even had rubber ducks for us!), and our bed was so comfty we didn't want to get out of it in the morning but "had" to because of our incredible breakfasts! We were excited each morning to see what we were having and we were always so impressed! It's the best breakfast food we've ever, ever had! Chris & Lisa are great hosts and make you feel so welcome. We loved that they're so laid back and were not "lingering" around every time we came and went. They are always there for you and super helpful. We will be back this Fall! We can't wait! Loved being so close to town to walk. Very quiet and relaxing. Food was wonderful! Bed was very comfortable. Downside was the jacuzzi in Saunders suite was not what I expected, very narrow for two people and very dated.

Chris and I are so glad these guests enjoyed our award-winning breakfast and our Home. The beds are indeed super comfortable and we are glad she slept well! The description of the Saunders King Jacuzzi is on the web site and I've copied and pasted it below. We have never received a complaint about this Jacuzzi. The Saunders Jacuzzi is long, deep and sunken. It is not a wide oversized Jacuzzi as are in the 3rd floor suites. It was not brought to our attention the Jacuzzi was a "downside for her." We woud have been happy to offer her a return visit in another suite. To be fair, if someone has something "exactly" in their mind as to what they want they should ask specific questions to confirm it is offered vs. assuming that it is so expectations are met. My husband and I celebrated our second anniversary at Mount Victoria. We stayed in the Clayton Suite which was wonderful. We enjoyed the whirlpool tub and bubble bath. The bed was so comfortable. The cookies Lisa made were fabulous! The breakfast by Chris was exceptional!! We had chicken, sausage and cheese baked inside of a bread pastry, fresh fruit and potatoes. Absolutely incredible. We would stay there again just for the food! We highly recommend the Mount Victoria in Eureka Springs!

This was my third trip to Eureka Springs and my first time staying at Mount Victoria. I am so happy and pleased I picked this place because it was fantastic!! Chris, our host was so nice and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had all the comforts of home…there is a mini fridge filled with complementary bottled water/soda, baked goodies, coffee, and just everything you would need for a home away from home. Our breakfast was brought to our room every morning at 9am and it was NEVER a disappointment. Each night we would be excited to wake up in the morning to see what Chris had made. Everything he made was delicious and enough to keep you full for most of the day. We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend staying at Mount Victoria. Big thanks to Chris for the hospitality and the Solo cups :)!!

We've stayed in a B&B at least 4-5 times throughout our marriage...and I have to say our anniversary weekend at Mt. Victoria was the best overall experience we've had yet. Just a beautiful house, excellent service, and superb breakfast. We will definitely be back one day...very soon!

1st time to eureka, we really enjoyed the scene (reminded us of park city,ut ..forest and woodsy atmosphere) the mount on victoria was smooth as silk, our room was great (my wife really enjoyed the bedding, very soft and cozy) , room has its own thermostat, jacuzzi tub, breakfast table (the food was boss) , the mount was located near main street and close to eateries, the service at the mount was great, everything we needed was readily available to us. We will definitely visit again, fun abounded !

Great food in a beautiful setting.

This is better than the pictures convey. I had always wanted a B & B experience and this more than fit the bill.

We stayed in the Jackson suite for Valentine's weekend and it was SUPERB! The decore was charming, the en-suite jetted tub was relaxing, the bed was cozy and warm. It was a terrific room! The food served by Chris and Lisa was OUTSTANDING! Such freshness and attention to detail, one would think they were in a 5 star restaurant!

We booked this B&B online based on the ratings . We were so please with our stay. Lisa and Chris are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed visiting with them, loved talking about our mutual love of dogs and cats! The rooms and inn are beautiful. The bed was comfy and tthe in room jacuzzi tub was great. The breakfasts were fabulous! The location is great for visiting the sites and shopping in this beautiful historic town. The entire experience allowed us to get away from it all, re-energize and spend some great alone time together. We will definitely go back!

My wife and I visited with Lisa and Chris for two great nights. The home was superb. The hospitality made us feel like part of the family. Chris and Lisa are excellent hosts and always willing to help guide you to the best places to eat and the places to avoid. We stayed on the top floor and the rooms had the charm of a period home. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. All of the reviews that we read made a big deal out of the breakfast. These raves were not exaggerated!! The morning "meal" was very pleasing and well presented. We did not even think about eating again until late afternoon. Keep up the good work Chris. Will stay again with the McCants when we visit Eureka Springs again.

We spent a wonderful night at Mount VIctoria! This was only our second time at a b & b and we loved it! We stayed in the Jackson suite, our room was spacious, comfy, and clean. We were quite impressed with all the little things that were offered -coffee, soda, water, ice, and yummy homemade cookies available whenever we wanted them. Local menus with dish recommendation, tons of movies, and even a wine opener! Chris and Lisa have thought of everything! Our breakfast was fabulous and was enough to last us until dinner! Thank you Chris and Lisa for opening up your beautiful home. We will definitely stay here again!!

My favorite birthday present ever was our trip to Eureka Springs and stay at beautiful Mount Victoria. The suites are elegantly furnished and complete with all the amenities. Chris and Lisa welcomed us warmly and were available to attend to any request or need during our stay. Chris' breakfasts were beyond anything we could have dreamed of - the freshest fruit and most delectable food I have ever had anywhere. My husband and I love to stay in B&B's and make it a practice to do so whenever possible. We can say without hesitation that Mount Victoria ranks at the top of any in our experience. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere we met and enjoyed the other guests. All agreed that there couldn't be a more congenial place to stay than Mount Victoria. This was our first time to stay in a B&B. We really had the best time. It was so romantic and and cozy . The breakfast was delicious, the cookies were amazing and we only wish we could have had lunch and dinner as well. We will definately be back. The location was so convenient for us to walk to dinner and just sight see and tour the historic Crescent Hotel. Lovely home in a lovely setting. Thanks Chris for being a great host.

Every detail exceeded our expectations. We cannot say enough about the exquisite food. Our room was gorgeous and private. The owners were warm yet professional and extremely accommodating.

My husband is deploying overseas and I wanted to spend a little bit of time with him before he left. We had never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast before and made a random search on the internet. We could not have found a more serene and perfect place. Chris and Lisa were the kindest hosts that we could have asked for. They were friendly, knowledgeable and generous. They have spent numerous hours perfecting the B&B with extreme attention to detail. They were quite literally born to be the quintessential hosts. Breakfast was delicious and right out of a true gourmet restaurant. Coffee, homemade cookies, plenty of books and even a boutique full of gifts to take home were available. Most importantly, we found the peace and quiet time we were looking for. We would highly recommend Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn and have already decided to return after the deployment!! This was our first time ever to visit a bed and breakfast and I don't think we will even consider trying any other in Eureka Springs. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms are beautiful! Chris and Lisa go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We will definitely be back!

Beautifull room that my wife and I fell in love with. Eating breakfast on the balcony was my favorite part. I loved watching the birds look for their meal while we ate ours. They had the friendliest cat (ping) that was hinting that he needed a bite to eat also. The room looked freshly decorated and was perfectly romantic. With fresh baked cookies waiting for us when we arrived. And three little rubber duckies sitting near the clawfoot bathtub that I could not resist squeaking to get a giggle from my bride of 24 years. My wife says that I have enough brownie points to last me till the next visit.

This B&B has absolutely ruined me for any other B&B. The rooms are beautiful, the food is fantastic, and Chris and Lisa truly care about the comfort of their guests. I can't say enough about this B&B. I will be back!!

The owners are very nice and provide some extras that we loved like fresh baked cookies upon arrival, coffee prepared for us in the mornings, a gourmet breakfast, and a huge jacuzzi. Considering we consistently have waiting lists as well as a plethora of return guests and referrals, we feel they are spot on and quite fair. Due to the endless amenities we offer (which may be viewed on our web site) as well as our full, award-winning gourmet breakfasts that placed us in "Southern Living" magazine, location-location-location (only 3 blocks from the top of downtown Eureka Springs, 3 blocks from two of Eureka Springs' most popular restaurants - "Ermilio's" and "Rogue's Manor", and 1 block from the historic Crescent hotel which offers ghost tours and a fabulous Aveda Spa), we simply cannot offer all that we do at a Motel rate. My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Mount Victoria. We purchased a baby moon package, which was well worth it. Our hosts Lisa & Chris are awesome- both very personable and friendly, hospitable and fun to be around. We would definitely return!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in May and loved every second! We took advantage of their Rewards package. Look into it! :) Mount Victoria is on the beautiful Historic Loop (quiet) but just a few blocks from downtown Eureka Springs. If you dont' like to walk then there is a trolley stop that is across the street from the B&B and very, very convenient. The handsome, stately historic house is spotlessly clean and our room was beautiful, comfortable (great bed!) and clean. We stayed in the Saunders which offered a wonderful veranda that we enjoyed all three mornings and each afternoon and night too. :) Lisa & Chris are superb hosts who are very friendly and eager to help answer any questions and offer suggestions on where to go, what to see and where to eat. Lisa shared some of her favorite local favorites and they were spot-on! :) Breakfast each morning was like Christmas morning because we were so excited and couldn't wait to see what Chris delivered to our veranda! We had their take on Eggs Benedict with pork tenderloin and a fresh lemon sauce (out of this world) and Chris happily worked with my husband's vegetarian diet substituting fresh organic vegetables for the meat. We also had this amazing cheddar apple creation and smoked chicken frittatas (again, Chris substituted fresh organic vegetables for the chicken for my husband). All the breakfasts are served with delicious fresh organic fruit (ask Lisa to make her smoothies!) and another side item plus delicious orange juice and their incredible organic coffee. Just incredible food! :) We have already recommended Mount Victoria to several couples and family members and will continue to do so. This is a must stay in Eureka Springs and it is a wonderful value. It's the only place to stay! :) :) :)

Mount Victoria is the best in Eureka Springs!! The breakfasts alone are worth staying for! They are always fresh, unique, hot and delicious. They are better than any breakfast we've e-v-e-r had! Lisa & Chris are a wonderful couple whose personalities are totally different and compliment each other in the best way making people feel comfortable and welcome. They are always there if you need them and are more than happy to help you any way they can. We have stayed at the Mount Victoria Bed and Breakfast at least six times in the past four years. We have enjoyed all of our visits and each one is better than the last because Lisa and Chris are always enhancing the inn! This last visit they had added Waterford crystal stemware to the rooms, added an Eco-Flow massaging shower head to the room we always stay in, added a really wonderful gift shop, added a wine cellar (which is so convenient for people to store their wine they travel with) and they have an ice machine arriving soon! Yay! The location is perfect because it's only 3 blocks from downtown and 3 blocks from ERMILIO's restaurant which is a town favorite! We also love that we can walk just 1 block to an Aveda Spa where we enjoys massages (and facials for me) when we visit. We have stayed in all of the rooms and the Mazaret is our favorite! We love the private veranda to eat Chris' incredible breakfasts on and to have our wine and cheese in the afternoons. All of the rooms are beautiful but we love the Mazaret because of the claw foot tub and shower and the veranda. Lisa has done an amazing job decorating so don't let our favorite keep you from trying the other rooms! We can't wait to return in the Fall (Fall foliage in Eureka Springs is amazing) and be welcomed back to Mount Victoria by Lisa and Chris! Mount Victoria is somewhere you do not want to miss out on! My wife and I travel a lot and this B&B is like no other we have stayed in. The inn is beautiful. The breakfasts are comparable to those we've had in 5-star restaurants both in the US and abroad. Chris & Lisa are truly talented as the breakfasts are not only delicious but beautiful as well. From their fruit smoothies to their pork tenderloin Eggs Benedict to their homemade salsa to Lisa's cookies and cakes (I could go on and on and on) ....our plates are always "wiped clean!" They are incredibly friendly hosts and have mastered the art of being welcoming, informative and gracious all in one. The rooms are beautiful (Lisa has a real flare for decorating), always very clean and very relaxing. This past year they opened "Shoppe Mount Victoria" on the first floor of the inn and my wife loves to shop in there - Lisa has created a very unique store filled with endless one-of-a-kind items. My Husband and I fell in love with Eureka Springs when we arrived. We found Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast when we got into town, and we were amazed how it looks in real life. After the sneak peak we explored the town, and had lunch at Local Flavor. Food was amazing. We checked in, and Chris gave us a wonderful welcome. We got setteled in our room the Jackson Suite. We relaxed, and went to dinner. Lisa and Chris told us where to go and called around for us because of the off season our choices were limited. Dinner was great at the Rouge Manner. We slept amazing, and I was so excited for breakfast. Breakfast arrived and the attention to detail blew us away. The flavorful meal filled us up with happy tummies, and shortly after we left. This was by far the best mini Vacation we have ever had. Thank you so much Lisa and Chris for such an amazing time. We look forward to our next visit.

We decided to come to Eureka Springs for our 6 month anniversary. I have 4 children and my boyfriend has 5. This was a welcome get-away. The room was spectacular (we stayed in the Clayton)...the decorating and design were very tasteful and eclectic. Having coffee ready for you in the morning and breakfast served at the door was lucious! It was perfect to lounge in our robes (provided) and nibble on our food and sip our coffee while we planned our visit to Eureka Springs. We are making plans to come back and stay during the Spring and Summer and Fall!

Everything about out stay at the Mount Victoria was perfect. It was so cozy and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend staying here. The food was wonderful and Chris and Lisa go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They recommended places to eat dinner, helped us with directions, and Lisa even provided me with Lactaid (I'm lactose intolerant and forgot my pills). I am extremely impressed with the service we received. Also, the chocolate cake is to die for! Thanks again Chris and Lisa for such wonderful hospitality!

Everything was great! Wonderful service that really made the stay special. The rooms are beautiful and romantic (love Lisa's taste)! Breakfast was fabulous; yummy cookies in the afternoon and tea/water/cokes throughout the day really made things feel homey. Sweet dog and cats too! We are already trying to figure out when we can go back.

This was the first time my husband and I had stayed at a Bed and Breakfast, and we could not have asked for a better experience. The house was charming inside and out, the owners, Lisa and Chris, were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was straight out of a five-star restaurant. Our room did not have a shower but included a roomy jacuzzi. This worked out fine for us since we only stayed for one night, but it might be worth seeking out a room with a shower if you plan to stay for multiple nights and/or if you prefer a shower to a bath. We truly felt like we were staying with good friends who happened to own a huge, beautiful home! Great place!

We felt right at home at the Victoria Inn, it has a very elegant but understated and relaxing atmospere, and the food was fantastic. Chris was very personable and fun to talk to - Lisa was ill when we were there so we will hope to meet her on our next visit!

I decided to surprise my wife for our 1-year anniversary and stay in a bed & breakfast for the 1st time. I chose Mount Victoria based on a friend's recommendation, and cannot express enough how enjoyable the stay was for both of us! We stayed in the Mazaret suite October 28-30 and couldn't have selected a better time to view the beautiful fall foliage on the trees right outside of our window. The weather was a bit cool so we only enjoyed breakfast on the veranda the first morning, but we certainly spent a fair amount of time out there drinking coffee, listening to the fountain below, and enjoying the surroundings. Chris and Lisa were both incredibly hospitable, greeting us as we pulled into the drive. The room itself is incredibly cozy and you would be hard pressed to find a more comfortable bed. The breakfasts prepared by Chris were absolutely amazing and are worth the experience alone! Each morning we had nothing short of a feast to start the day, and both Lisa and Chris were very accommodating to my wife's gluten and dairy allergies. Each afternoon after strolling around Eureka Springs all day, they had prepared fresh mouth-watering cookies and cake that were also much appreciated. Neither of us really knew what to expect from a bed and breakfast but we will certainly be back many times to Mount Victoria!

We loved Mount Victoria so much the first time that when my husband and I had new vacation dates available with our jobs, Mount Victoria was the first vacation we planned again! We LOVE it here! Chris and Lisa are so friendly and helpful they make you feel like you're staying with friends. We loved walking to an italian restaurant just blocks from the inn, Ermilio's, and also our other favorite restaurant there, the Rogues Manor, which is also just blocks from Mount Victoria! The rooms are so luxurious and comfortable and the food is beyond words! The best breakfast EVER! (ask Chris to make his eggs benedict - the sauce is like no other you will ever have and he makes it with pork tenderloin!!) The Mount Victoria is 5stars all around - location, hosts, food, rooms, service, amenities .....it is simply FANTASTIC!

David & I first stayed at M.V. the first year Chris & Lisa purchased the inn - 5 years ago. Prior to that we had stayed at MANY inns in Eureka Springs as we come often. We stayed at many because we were unable to find what we were looking for...a home away from home. M.V. is just that for us!! Everything - and I do mean everything - is outstanding. Lisa & Chris are the best hosts we've ever met (and we travel a lot) as they've mastered the art of being professional yet friendly, down to earth and inviting without invading your privacy. The inn is perfect as it's beautiful & beautifully maintained. The location is ideal as it's walkable to downtown but away from the noise. Chris' breakfasts are THE BEST!! We've stayed in all the rooms & they're ALL beautifully decorated (Lisa has a true talent!) and comfty - I like to call it "Lisa's relaxed chic!" The beds are extra comfty, the linens superb & we love having the soft drinks, bottled water and Lisa's incredible cookies available to us 24 hours a day. This B&B is absolutely THE BEST in Eureka and if you don't stay here, you're simply missing out. Helpful Hint: Book in advance as they stay "booked!" Donna H., Tulsa.

Mount Victoria is the first B&B my wife and I have ever stayed in, and we are so glad we chose it for our short third year wedding anniversary getaway! The property is a beautiful Victorian mansion, with well appointed rooms (very clean!) and great verandas. Our room was comfortable and very romantic... with an extra comfy bed and a small town, yet luxurious feel. Lisa and Chris were lots of fun to be around, and the food was great! One of the yummiest breakfasts of all time! We would definitely recommend to anyone making the trip to Eureka Springs!! P.S. The second floor rooms have their own verandas - we loved ours! Very nice bed and breakfast. Nice rooms and wonderful food. A little expensive though, and it would be much more convenient if the rooms had their own fridges. I personally didn't care for the bath tub either (too deep and hard to get in and out of).

October is the busiest month of high season due to the Fall foliage which guests travel many miles to experience and enjoy! Mount Victoria is a very nice B&B. The hubby and I loved the location, less than 1/2 mile walk to downtime. The area is very nice and quiet. My only complaint was that the walls are kinda thin but that's to be expected of an old house. The inn keepers were awesome and food was absolutely delicious. Would DEFINITELY stay again.

Our stay was extremely short (only one night), but most definitely left us trying to figure out a time to come back soon. Charming, clean, delicious food and very welcoming...All in the beautiful setting of Eureka Springs. What more could you want?

We chose to stay in the Saunders Suite during our Honeymoon stay in Eureka Springs. After seeing photos and reading reviews online regarding Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn, we were a little disappointed in the room itself. Maybe we just expected to much. But the room just didn't appear to be as lavish as we had expected. Chris greeted us and made us feel welcome and breakfast was great. We enjoyed our private porch and wanted to eat breakfast the next morning out there...but the weather was rainy and cool. We could've spent hours on the porch. We planned on staying 2 nights, but was homesick and ready to go home to get setteled into our new lives together. Thank you Chris for our first B&B experience.

We have a beyond detailed and informative web site. There are extensive photographs on the web site of all of the suites as well as detailed descriptions. We have not had a review of this nature before concerning our suites so I would have to agree with the reviewer's comments - perhaps they expected too much. Again, there are numerous photographs and detailed descriptions of all the suites. It's unfortunate the weather did not allow them to enjoy their veranda and they decided to leave a day early due to them being "homesick." Mount Victoria was an excellent place to stay. Chris and Lisa were very friendly and helpful. The room was very well prepared and the meals served were top notch. We had an excellent time there and hope to return in the not so distant future.

We went back to Mount Victoria for our 2nd anniversary and will continue to only stay at Mount Victoria when we visit Eureka Springs. Lisa and Chris make sure every detail is covered. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the breakfasts are fabulous, and Lisa's cookies are heavenly.

Afternoon of September 15 thru 10:45 September 17 was the most relaxing, enjoyable time my husband and I've had in YEARS! Upon arrival we were greeted as guests and each morning served like Royalty. Chris took our diet concerns-even tho not a health issue-very seriously and tweaked the menu to meet our needs. Lisa's attention to detail in decoration and amenities was obvious in our room-the Saunders Suite. Everything was perfect-even the gift shop. We will certainly return within the next year.

After arriving they asked if we could "add" a complimentary dinner to their package at no charge. We simply cannot pay people to stay at the inn. My wife and I spent our honeymoon night at Mt. Victoria. I opted for the silk petals and the bath package. When we arrived, we were stunned at the beauty of the room (Jackson Suite), but I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of the two packages considering the hefty pricetag. The inroom Jacuzzi was wonderful when we finally found the timer hidden in the corner of the bathroom (when we arrived, no one was there to greet us and show us to the room, so we found it on our own and settled in). Breakfast was WONDERFUL, but the free coffee and snacks were nothing to be excited about. All in all, a great stay, but we expected a more personal and romantic experience for the money.

To be fair, we had to respond to this review. The bride & groom did not arrive until 10PM in the evening. We spoke to the groom several times prior to arrival regarding his late check in - again 10PM - as he said he thought it might even be later than 10PM as it was their wedding day. We explained we go to bed around 10 as we get up at 5 to begin working on breakfast. The groom had one of his groomsmen come by the inn that day with their bags and asked if there was anything he needed to tell the groom. We explained, as we did to the groom, that they would let themselves in and told him we had explained to the groom exactly where their suite was located in the inn. Clearly this was not communicated and the groom forgot. The timer to the Jacuzzi is not HIDDEN - that is absolutely ridiculous. The groom's unhappiness regarding the silk rose petals and spa basket - 1st complaint in 5 years regarding either of these. The Romantic Spa Basket For Two Includes (the detailed description is on the web site which he reviewed before ordering) Jacuzzi Bath Bubbles, Chocolate-Dipped Marshmallows, Back Brushes, Loofah Mitts, Soothing Lotion & Rubber Ducks For $79. Regarding the rose petals for $35, we don't know what more a person would like aside from a BOX of SILK rose petals, which is what was spread throughout their room. Our freshly ground organic coffee grants guest raves on a daily basis as does the complimentary cakes, cookies and appreciation of the complimentary beverages with 24 hour access which other B&B's do not offer. Upon departure, the Bride was gushing and saying she could not wait to return. That's certainly confusing since this review was posted. We wish this couple the best in their travels and, to be helpful, suggest if they are once again on strict budgetary guidelines, they might do more research before ordering additions to their reservation so as not to be disappointed with other getaway destinations as well.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and won't even consider another b&b. This was our first time to stay at one and once the bar has been set so high, we cannot imagine another place coming close. The house is such a neat building and meticulously maintained and beautiful. They do not make them like this anymore. Chris and Lisa were so very accommodating and hospitable that it felt like we were at a relative's house. The food is delicious and has that intangible quality you get only from home cooking. They have two cats, Ping and Pong. The cats are very friendly and sweet. I think Chris and Lisa have everything you could possibly need for a great time away from home. My wife and I had such a great time that we are going back in October. If you've never been to this b&b, or if it will be your first time staying at a b&b, we think this will be the place when visiting Eureka Springs. One last thing is this: if you are going to take a ghost tour, or just want to visit The Crescent Hotel, it might be a block away from Mt. Victoria. My wife and I we thrilled to learn this and even though it was too hot to walk there during the heat wave in July '11, when we go back in October, we will be walking to our next ghost tour. Oh, and the parking can't be beat! No parking on the street at this b&b. They have plenty of space on their property so you don't have to worry about someone accidentally hitting your vehicle while parked on the street.

We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Chris greeted us and showed us to our room. Chris made a wonderful, moist butter cake with a powdered sugar icing, and we couldn't get enough...I think we almost ate the entire cake :-) The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a great night's sleep....and then for the best part...BREAKFAST! Chris' version of eggs benedict was the best breakfast we have ever eaten. It was a huge portion and was a beautiful presentation. We will definitely return to Mount Victoria. This B&B is nothing short of magnificent and the innkeepers, Lisa & Chris, are an absolute delight. They go the extra mile for their guests and it's easy to see why they have all the awards they do. This was our third visit this year (there will be more!) and we love it more each time! The only room we haven't stayed in is the Mazaret and it will be the next one! The rooms are so beautiful and charming and decorated with Lisa's unique style. The beds...we never want to get out of them! The food is out of this world as is the entire B&B. Perfect location as you can walk to downtown or to our two favorite restaurants, Ermilio's and Rogue's Manor. There's a super convenient trolley stop across from the B&B if you don't like to walk. The Mount Victoria is the best Eureka Springs has to offer! We've stayed at many B&B's in Eureka Springs (we were searching for one we could call home away from home) and we FINALLY found it!! Chris & Lisa are the best hosts (we felt like old friends) and Chris' breakfast is THE BEST we've ever had! (ask him to make his version of Eggs Benedict! ....paired with Lisa's smoothies ----incredible!!!!) Oh, and we can't rave enough about Lisa's cookies! We stayed in the Clayton on the third floor and we loved, loved, loved it! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens high end and dreamy and our room, as was The Mount Victoria, super clean! This B&B is a must for a romantic getaway. If you don't stay at The Mount Victoria, your're not staying at the best B&B in Eureka Springs!!

Being our first true stay at a B&B we were not sure what to expect. All we can say now is that any other B&B we may stay at in the future will have a very high standard to live up to. We loved the option of breakfast in room or out on the veranda instead of in the formal dining room, and Chris makes a wonderful breakfast!!! Staying at the Mount Victoria B&B was very relaxing and laid back. We enjoyed our conversations with Chris who seemed like an old friend the moment we met him and Lisa's cookies each day really hit the spot.

This was the 3rd stay at Mount Victoria in 2 years, 2 stays have been in the past 2 months. This inn never disappoints and somehow each visit is better than the last. Chris's breakfasts are amazing to say the least and unlike anything else and Lisa's hospitality and sweet treats are fabulous. The inn's cats Ping and Pong and Molly puppy are adorable too. The rooms make you never want to leave and I think I sleep better at Mount Victoria than at home. Cannot wait to go back again this year!

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful B&B for a three day romantic vacation. I can't say enough good things. Chris and Lisa are super friendly down to earth hosts but not invasive of your privacy and very helpful / informative about Eureka Springs. Our room was just so beautiful with so many personal touches - it was straight out of a magazine (we stayed in the Mazaret) and extremely clean as was the entire inn. The gourmet breakfasts were the best we have ever had at a B&B or at a 5 star restaurant ...period. The Mount Victoria offered so many amenities which made the value outstanding (the plush robes, shampoo & conditioner, the complimentary drinks available 24-7, complimentary cake / cookies / teas / ciders available 24-7, the huge DVD library, etc.) We have stayed at many B&B and this is, hands down, our new favorite. The inn was full with six other very happy guests, who we visited with fairly often, and I can tell you that they all felt as we did ...everything was perfect! We loved that we could easily walk to the downtown area as well as to local restaurants and we loved our veranda where we watched carriage horses go by the inn in the evening. We loved everything! We were sad to leave and we can't wait to return!!

Regarding value, our breakfasts alone are a tremendous value based on the size and quality. We know what other B&B's in Eureka Springs offer and are confident our value is exceptional based on the amenities we offer, our breakfasts, the location of the inn, the size and quality of our rooms, and our award winning reputation. WOW! I believe that is fair to start off this review of the Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn. This was our first time to stay at a bed and breakfast and it sure won’t be our last. We enjoyed every minute of our visit. All of our needs were attended to which made our engagement getaway truly something to remember. The Inn was just as described and the food... well, words can’t describe it. I love to cook and therefore I can be very picky at times but the food here is fantastic, far beyond my expectations. With all things said, I would highly recommend Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn to my family and friends and for your next visit to Eureka Springs because you just won’t get the attention to detail anywhere else as you do here. We stayed at The Mount Victoria for 3 romantic nights. Everything was fantastic from beginning to end! Lisa & Chris, the owners, greeted us when we pulled up and were fantastic from the moment we arrived until we sadly left. They were super friendly, helpful and cheery! We stayed in the beautiful Saunders Suite which is on the second floor and has a veranda. The suite was so lovely! Lots of antiques. Lots of lamps. Lots of space. The bed was super comfortable with lots of pillows - it was hard for us to crawl out of it every morning! We loved the huge DVD selection available and watched movies one night and munched on Lisa's cookies! Complimentary soft drinks and bottled water are in a small fridge on the second floor along with Lisa's amazing cookies! We also loved the complimentary WIFI! You've never had breakfast until you've had breakfast at Mount Victoria! It's easy to see why their breakfast got them in "Southern Living!" They take breakfast to the next level. Nothing but absolute deliciousness!! There is really no way to describe their breakfasts other than to say they are amazing, delicious, unique, beautifully presented and oh so filling - we never ate lunch! (ask Chris to make his Eggs Benedict with Lisa's fresh fruit smoothies - it is like none you have ever had! we wanted to drink his homemade sauce along with Lisa's smoothies!!) We were completely satisfied with every detail of our stay and felt it was the best money we have spent on a romantic getaway. When we visited beautiful Eureka Springs last fall, we did not love our first bed and breakfast experience (at another establishment). But Mount Victoria has converted us! From the open and welcoming feel evident upon our arrival, to the attention to detail in the lovingly decorated and appointed suite, to the over-the-top amazing breakfasts, we enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. When Lisa saw we had a bottle of wine one afternoon, she offered to put it on ice and have it waiting for us when we returned from dinner. When one coffeemaker ran out of delicious brew in the morning, Chris promptly pointed me in the direction of a full machine just down the stairs. Every expressed desire was attended to, and with the kind of effortless hospitality you would expect from staying with friends. I'm not sure exactly how these innkeepers do it, but they have a gift for welcoming visitors, and we will definitely be planning a return trip to their charming and gracious home. The owners, Lisa and Chris were the friendliest, gracious, most down to earth hosts and their home, their B&B, was gorgeous! We have been to many B&B's and this was, hands down, the most beautiful, comfortable and inviting. It is easy to see why they have received all of the awards they have. Breakfast each morning was one of our most favorite things about our vaycay! Their breakfast is a large, gourmet, mouth watering event that is beautifully presented. We had never had waffles and chicken before (organic chicken mind you!) that was topped with cheddar cheese and an omelet and served on top of the best, richest syrup we've ever had....but we decided it's one of our new favorite things! The next day we had their smoked turkey pastry (it was topped with Jerusalem salad and served with rosemary potatoes and tons of fresh fruit) that put their B&B in Southern Living magazine!! Chris actually smokes the meat - we were welcomed home by the smell coming from their private side yard one afternoon! It was absolutely unbelievable!! We never ate lunch on both days! The B&B also has a perfect location as it's only a few blocks from downtown so you can walk. Lisa made dinner reservations for us, massage appointments for us and also offered lots of shopping and activity suggestions - she was so helpful and fun! We had such a wonderful time and are already planning a return visit in the Fall! This B&B Is Outstanding As Are Lisa & Chris!!

My wife and I were looking for a little romance, a little peace and a little relaxation and we found it at Mount Victoria! Lisa & Chris are the perfect Southern hosts and others should learn from their Southern hospitality. They have thought of everything! We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived and Lisa greeted us with a wave and her million dollar smile from the veranda. The inn is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts were the best we have EVER, EVER had! We stayed in the Saunders suite and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it each morning! Lisa & Chris have covered every detail (and more!) and made us feel like a King & Queen for two days - we wanted for absolutely nothing. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We came for just one night last weekend and had a wonderful time! The house is decorated with such love and the rooms are very comfortable. My husband was not very excited at the idea of a B and B and he's now ready to plan another trip! The breakfast was to die for! Mount Victoria exceeded my expectations!

We loved Mount Victoria! It's a beautiful B&B owned by the fabulous Lisa & Chris and is only a few blocks from the downtown shopping area and is beautifully decorated (and very clean) but what we loved the most was the FOOD! We stayed for 3 nights and took advantage of the option to order Chris' cheeseburgers one night and the inn's private dinner another night. We ate at some of Eureka Springs' more popular restaurants but, I assure, you the food we at at Mount Victoria was far superior! Their breakfast is in a class by itself. It is unbelievable! The quality and quantity are amazing and it looks almost too pretty to eat! Chris' cheeseburgers were THE BEST and we ordered Lisa's milkshakes and were in HEAVEN! Our private dinner was just that - it was private and romantic with candelight and music softly playing. We had the artichoke and olive crostini as our appetizer (yumm), I had the creamy fettucine (so, so good) and my husband had the Miso glazed chicken (he could not stop raving about it). Again, all this food was better than a-n-y we ate at the restaurants in Eureka Springs! We loved our room and the whole feel of the inn. Lisa & Chris have perfected the art of being available if you need them and very helpful but also respecting your privacy. We have been to a lot of B&B's and we can honestly say, Mount Victoria is the BEST! - the best food, the best hosts and the best all around romantic getaway we have ever had. Do not miss out on staying at this beautiful inn! We will be back!

Mount Victoria was exactly what we needed. We were seeking romance and charm and found it! What a great time we had! The inn's decor is beautiful. We stayed in the Clayton and absolutely loved the way Lisa decorated it - she has a great style that mixes traditional with fun. Our room was large and super clean and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast (brought to our room) exceptional! We've never had such a good breakfast....anywhere!! Lisa's cookies are to die for! Everything about our stay was great. From the time we arrived to our departure, they made us feel right at home. The food is excellent. Delicious, great presentation, great service. Great romantic getaway. We will definitly go back, and will pass the word on to our friends and family.

My wife and I recently spent the first two nights of our honeymoon at the Mount Victoria. It was everything we expected and more. I had done a lot of research online prior to picking the Inn and was pleased to find it every bit as beautiful as the pictures on their website. We stayed in the Mazaret because when I called to ask about the difference in the rooms Lisa explained it was her favorite so I took her advice. I was not disappointed. It was spacious and beautiful and comfortable. We especially loved the antique clawfoot tub with rubber ducks and our private veranda. Lisa & Chris' service was exceptional. Breakfast was yummy and unlike some places we didn't have to get up at 8:00 a.m. to get it. Chris brought our breakfast to us each morning on our veranda at 9:00 a.m. and my wife loved being able to eat privately in the super comfty robes they provide. The inn is only a few blocks from downtown Eureka Springs and we loved that we could so easily walk to shop and take in the town. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and prelude to our tropical honeymoon and we will definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay for two nights while on a business meeting. The accomodations were very good with lots of attention to detail. The breakfast was the best breakfast I ever had! Even the Orange Cake evening dessert was outstanding. I hope to come back.

I purchased a romantic package for my wife for the weekend before Valentines Day. Lisa was so helpful over the phone making sure everything would be exactly as I wanted it when we arrived as this was a surprise for my wife. Upon arriving, we could not have been happier! Mount Victoria is beautiful (even in the Winter while the grounds and trees are sleeping) and Lisa and Chris are unbelievably friendly and down to earth hosts. We both immediately felt relaxed and "at home" and I was delighted to see my wife so happy! Their amazing breakfasts were served in our room each morning (for no extra charge) and looked like pictures you'd see in food magazines! Chris has a Big Green Egg he smokes turkey on for one of their breakfast entrees and that breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. We returned home from downtown shopping one afternoon and he was in their private side yard with the amazing smell of the smoked turkey in the air! He is a very talented chef. Our room (we stayed in the Saunders) was very lovely with a super comfortable bed and super soft sheets and beautiful furniture. We loved our big jacuzzi and bath salts. Lisa's unique style is readily seen throughout the inn and it was one of the things we loved the most about Mount Victoria. My wife just really enjoyed relaxing in our room and looking at everything! We were entirely pleased with everything about this B&B including the location as they are within a short walking distance to downtown and to a really great Italian restaurant that Lisa & Chris told us was Eureka Springs' most popular and recommended. It was great! We have already recommended Mount Victoria to all our friends and we will be back! It was worth every penny! (Dennis & Zoe)

Lisa & Chris are remarkable hosts. Their attention to detail and willingness to help at any time was fully appreciated. The Inn is very clean and very comfortable. The location and value are outstanding. The Mount Victoria has a superb location as you can easily walk to downtown - just about 3 blocks to town. We have stayed at many B&B's and can honestly say The Mount Victoria is an outstanding value. Everything we wanted or needed (and more!) was at our fingertips paired with unmatched quality. The verandas are great places to people watch (we enjoyed watching the horse drawn carriages go by the inn at night) or relax and read a book. Staying at The Mount Victoria was a real treat from the hospitality to the amazing breakfasts and just the inn itself - we wanted for absolutely nothing and could not have hoped for more. We had the opportunity to stay with Lisa and Chris on Valentine's Weekend this year. The inn was cozy and warm, a perfect contrast to the 10 inches of snow they had recieved that week. I pre-ordered fruit and champagne, that had been lovingly placed en suite. And was greatly appreciated after the drive from Little Rock. We settled in and took the bottle down stairs to share with the Lisa, Chris (and Molly). Ever the gracious and most accommodating couple you could hope to leave charge of your romantic get away weekend. We truly felt that we were their TOP priority. Attention to detail is is not a goal, it is a way of life for this young handsome couple. In the evenings we enjoyed delicious moist cakes with a selection of teas and then fought the urge to rush to bed in anticipation of the following morning's breakfast. Which after all this IS a Bed and BREAKFAST, no small detail. Morning arrives with the aroma of fresh coffee gently waking you and your senses. Then there it is the knocking on the door... It is Chris with his morning offering. What can be better than waking after a good nights sleep, to a good looking man, delivering a lovingly prepaired gourmet breakfast? In short Mount Victoria B & B was truly a wonderful experience. One that must be revisited.

Mount Victoria is a brilliantly executing Bed & Breakfast with attentive but unobtrusive hosts and delicious breakfasts. Many of our best times were spent at Mount Victoria and dramatically increased the enjoyment of our time in Eureka. Chris and Lisa take great care to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you'd like during your stay, but are also respectful of privacy. The option to have breakfast in your room rather than the dining area is quite nice, especially if you're wanting a more romantic, one on one style of trip. Adding to the experience in your room is a small 19" TV with a DVD player. This was great for a late night movie and wine, or watching Bob Ross over breakfast. Those happy trees lead to a pretty damn good day. Chris's breakfast was delicious and he would adjust according to your dietary needs, or simply a desire for substitutions. He brought his nicely prepared plates to our room each morning with a decanter of orange juice. Coffee is available from 7am to 9am, with other times being by request. Apple cider, bottled water, soda, and teas are available 'round the clock. They also have rich, moist chocolate cake sitting out for guests at all times. Goes wonderfully with that late night movie. The value is a bit tricky, as it is without a doubt one of the top B&B in the area. However, others are consistently around $50 less per night than Mount Victoria. We had looked on this website and called around before booking our room, so we were aware of the price difference before booking. Having spent the extra money, I can happily say we made the right decision, but I also wouldn't say we got a deal. I believe the price point is just about where it should be, so it met my expectations. If you have a bit of extra money for your trip, I recommend you spend it here. We were thrilled with our trip and lucky to experience a couple nights of luxury at Mount Victoria.

(5) the quality of our bed linens and beds (6) 24 access to the inn's DVD library with over 200 up-to-date DVD's as well as some classics (7) our location - only 3 blocks from the top of Spring street where the array of shops begin & only 3 blocks from two of Eureka Springs' most popular restaurants, "Ermilio's" & "Rogue's Manor" (8) the large off-street parking lot for our guests to comfortably park their cars--there is no on-street parking or curb parking. (9) the location of a trolley stop directly across the street from the inn and last, but certainly not least, (10) the level of service we provide and the level of detail which has resulted in the many awards we have received. I received a gift certificate for a weekend stay at Mount Bed & Breakfast as a birthday present. What a delightful birthday present! Lisa & Chris welcome you from the first phone call to the moment you arrive at this beautiful inn. As soon as we walked in, we could feel the warmth of the inn. Their friendly attitudes caused us to relax, unwind, and feel right at home. The food is so wonderful and if you have special dietary needs they go the extra mile to please. I can't think of one thing we didn't like! We felt truly welcomed and pampered! A stay at Mount Victoria will satisfy even the most discriminating visitor. My husband & I were celebrating our fifth anniversary and decided to go to Eureka Springs. Staying at Mount Victoria was the best part of our trip to Eureka Springs. Lisa & Chris' friendly attitude and warm nature made us feel welcome and at home like we were visiting favorite relatives. The atmosphere is fantastic, our room was gorgeous and the entire in is beautiful. Lisa has done an incredible job of decorating - I left with lots of ideas for our own home. Their food is unbelievable (we also ordered their cheeseburgers and they were the best we have EVER had) and their help each morning as we were planning our day was so helpful - they were sincerely interested in what we wanted to do and wanted to make sure we had a great trip and enjoyed the town. Lisa's dinner recommendations were excellent both nights - be sure and ask her if you're not sure and trying to decide between a few restaurants - she won't steer you wrong. We will definitely be back and it will be because of Lisa, Chris and the Mount Victoria. (p.s. their margaritas, which we ordered with our cheeseburgers, are most excellent!!)

We recently stayed at Mt. Victoria for the NEw Year holiday. What a thoroughly enjoyable time from start to finish!! Our room was impeccable, the warmth of the hosts, the BEAUTIFUL Christmas decorations, and the wonderful food were all part of a magical start to our new year!! I had the good fortune to stay at Mount Victoria in December, 2010. This inn was impecable all the way around. Jazz music softly played in the living room when I checked in and was greeted by Lisa & Chris, the owners and our outstanding hosts. I had a 3rd floor Jacuzzi suite that had the best bed of any inn I've ever stayed. The decor was elegant and warm. Breakfast was so good - I had read reviews about how much other guests liked it and they were right. They are both talented in the kitchen and I never ate lunch. It was Lisa & Chris that really sets this inn apart. Professional, friendly, helpful, courteous but unpretensious. Every need was taken care of immediately. Recommendations for dining were superb. I liked the small things - a chocolate on my pillow each day, fresh ground coffee, Lisa's amazing homemade cookies (ask her to make the orange cookies) and their dog Molly. This was five star service that came easily. I can't wait to return.

My Mother and I stayed at this amazing Inn in Eureka Springs. Lisa & Chris are the most gracious and fun people I've met in a long time! The rooms in the Inn are absolutely gorgeous and the beds super comfortable with lovely linens. Lisa decorated the entire house herself, and she has created a very warm, homey and charming Inn. The breakfasts are to die for! They cook them all, and they have so much food you can't possibly finish it all. It's absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. This was absolutely the best bed and breakfast we've ever stayed at in Eureka Springs. We tried several times to stay at this inn but they were always booked /full. This time we made our reservation far enough in advance (3 months) and let me tell you - it was worth the wait! Oh my goodness!! Our room was immaculate.....you could do surgery in it - spotless. Having stayed at several other inns in Eureka Springs (because we weren't happy with any of the ones we tried before to return for another visit) I can tell you this inn offers so, so much more than others and the value is unmatched. They have a refrigerator with soft drinks and water (other inns offered us 2 cokes and 2 waters in our room when we arrived...and that was it), amazing homemade cookies on top of the refrigerator (not 2 bags of chips or crackers in your room when you arrive like other inns), tons of teas and hot chocolates and cider mixes to chose from (never stayed at another inn in Eureka Springs that offered that) hundreds (yes, I'm being serious) of DVD movies (yes - DVD's, not VHS movies - and you don't have to turn the box in to the hosts to rent a movie - they are all just right there for you), and lots of books and magazines for all the guests to enjoy - again, not something we ever encountered at other inns in Eureka Springs. You feel so at home at this inn. The breakfasts were like no other - picture perfect (like something you'd see in a magazine) and very, very, very delicious!! The inn is clean, beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. Chris and Lisa are the perfect hosts....warm, friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend the Mount Victoria Bed & Breakfast Inn to anyone looking for the best, high quality bed and breakfast in Eureka Springs. We will NEVER stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs now that we've found Mount Victoria and Lisa and Chris!! We booked our next visit before we left!!!

Every element in the room was completed with thoughtful detail that added to the delight of staying at Mount Victoria that entertained me as a guest and made me feel at home and added to the romantic quality of our stay. I had my small wedding at the Mount Victoria and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day. I liked Lisa instantly and felt a connection with her the moment I met her. She planned a small wedding for my closest friends and family (12 guests + my husband and I), and somehow managed to stick to our small budget. I didn't have to help with any of the planning at all--just notify her of any questions or changes. It was totally stress-free, which is exactly what I wanted. The weather was sunny and cool, and the lawn was decorated beautifully for the occasion. We had both warm and cold hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet cake that their pastry chef made exactly like the picture I found in a high end magazine and emailed Lisa, champagne and homemade sangria. The food was elegant and delicious, and everyone seemed to have a different favorite dish. We stayed in the Clayton suite, which looks exactly like the photos but even better, warmer and more fabulous in person. I loved the Bed and Breakfast's location because we were removed from the noise of downtown which meant we had plenty of privacy and peace and quiet. But we were still in walking distance from everything. We never moved the car the entire weekend we stayed. Lisa & Chris treated us like family, and by the end of our stay we didn't want to leave. My husband and I will definitely stay there again, if not for our one year anniversary, then before. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get married in a private and romantic setting and be pampered by excellent hosts.

My husband and I stayed here and immediately felt comfortable. We are coming back again in February. The house is historic, beautiful and peaceful. Our room was quiet and elegantly decorated, and we appreciated all the books and local magazines to look through and what seemed like endless movies to choose from. The breakfasts were made up of the freshest ingredients and deliciously prepared. It feels like visiting a relative's huge, beautiful home. The innkeepers, Lisa and Chris, were delightful, friendly, helpful, and obviously enjoy what they do. You can definitely feel that in the atmosphere. If you are visiting in the warmer months, they have lovely verandas overlooking the gardens, which won the town's garden of the season award this year, where you can have breakfast, tea, or an evening refreshment. Lisa and Chris do everything at this inn, including the gardening, and their passions shine through. We high recommend Mount Victoria and can't wait to return!

How anyone can give below a perfect score is beyond me. I am one picky guy, and from the moment my wife and I arrived we were treated like old friends. The bed was luscious, the room perfect, the food scrumptious, and...the Jacuzzi enormous and perfect. We loved our veranda where we ate breakfast both mornings. I recommend this inn, adn as well be sure to hit up Rogues Manor, 3 blocks away for dinner and ask for Franco to be your server. And as well, Mud Street Cafe had great sandwiches and coffee for lunch - Chris and Lisa's breakfast is so large, and good, you might not even eat lunch - we didn't one day!

Eureka Springs is filled with B&B's so there were lots of choices to choose from. We could not have made a better choice!! Our stay started as we were greeted at the porch by our wonderful Hostess Lisa then shown around this beautiful home. We were amazed at the size of the room and the way it was decorated was truley memorable. We had a private breakfast the first morning on our private porch, wow... best breakfast in a long long time! It is truely wonderful to have a chef (Thanks Chris) make you breakfast in the morning. The location was just right, not on the main street in town and not far enough away that you could not walk to do and see things. I can say that we had a perfect 2 night stay at this wonderful B&B and we will recommend it to everyone we tell about Eureka Springs.

We just returned from a weekend getaway at Mount Victoria. It was amazing. We had never been to a B&B before due to my slight obsession with cleanliness-- however this place was immaculate. The rooms were so cozy and beautifully decorated. Every corner was spotless and the decor was modern yet filled with all of Lisa and Chris's family antiques. The breakfasts and cookies were so delicious and Lisa and Chris, as well as other guests, made this trip feel like we were visiting family. We really enjoyed Social Hour --delicious appetizers and refreshments---as well as visiting with the other guests and Lisa and Chris. It was wonderful and we are definitely going back. We intend to try every room at least once! P.S. We stayed in the Clayton.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had the Jackson bedroom suite which was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Breakfast and refreshments were of an extremely high standard. Lisa and Chris were very friendly and helpful. We could not fault our 3 days there...would go back tomorrow...

This bed and breakfast is definitely the best place to stay on your trip to Eureka Springs. Chris & Lisa have a beatuiful home and exceptional service, something that is hard to find today. The rooms are in great condition, the food excellent, and the ambiance is outstanding as well.

We had one of the most romantic and memorable honeymoons at the Mount Victoria Inn. During our four day stay, we had the opportunity to experience exquisite breakfasts, charming and sophisticated hosts, all of the comforts of home, and the creation of memories which will last throughout our lives. Lisa & Chris start the day with an out of this world gourmet breakfast and delightful conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed the Inn's Social Hour - Lisa's delicious food and visiting with the other guests, and Lisa & Chris, on the veranda was a perfect end to our afternoon! We cannot say enough about how charming the Inn feels. The decor makes you feel relaxed. The ambiance allows you to believe you have escaped the troubles of the world. The Mount Victoria is only a few blocks away from the heart of downtown Eureka Springs and great restaurants as well. There are too many local places of interest to list, but you will not lack filling your day with interesting experiences. The rates are much lower than expected, given the service and amenities you receive. We compared almost every Inn in Eureka Springs and chose Mount Victoria. Having the opportunity to talk to returning guests who have stayed at other Inns, we know we made the perfect decision. My husband and I and friends from England visited Eureka Springs in August so they could experience "the South". We discovered a treasure in this small, absolutely lovely Inn. It is exquisite in every detail, without being "stuffy" in the least. This is due to the owners Lisa & Chris; they make you feel welcome from the first contact in booking until the minute you leave. They are interesting, talented and just the best hosts you can imagine. Our rooms (we were on the second floor) were so beautifully decorate, immaculately clean and large - we were just in heaven! We hated to leave, and will definitely return when we visit Eureka Springs again. Location, accommodations, food and conversation all made this a truly special stay, and our English friends were enchanted with the city and the Inn. If you have a chance, don't miss this treasure in Eureka Springs and Lisa & Chris!

My husband and I truly enjoyed out getaway at Mount Victoria, although it was too short. Beautiful rooms and delecious breakfast! I highly recommend statying here!

I loved staying at the Mount Victoria B&B because there was something beautiful to enjoy in every nook and cranny. There is a lovely place to have breakfast or a quiet time on the veranda; a peaceful garden and fountain; and interesting decor from floor to ceiling. Breakfast was amazing; a work of art in itself. I highly recommend this beautiful B&B!

We had the luxury of staying at the Mount Victoria and we were so impressed! The inn is an amazing place to stay for a long romantic weekend. My boyfriend proposed to me on the balcony of our suite!!! He later told me Lisa & Chris were instrumental in arranging all the important details for his proposal. They are wonderful hosts and so genuine and helpful. We felt so "at home" and comfortable. The room was spacious and clean and decorated beautifully. Breakfast each morning was so impressive we felt like we were at a five star restaurant! They do an amazing job. I highly recommend the Mount Victoria for that special get away weekend. We WILL be back!

Social hour was a great way to meet the other guests. We all ended up having dinner together and have become fast friends! Chris prepared an amazing breakfast and Lisa is a relaxed hostess! We had a great time and plan on staying at Mount Victoria every time we go to Eureka Springs.

My husband and I just, sadly, left Mount Victoria for what was a most excellent romantic trip. The first visit we had was in May of 2009 and we had such a wonderful experience last time we decided to stay there again. The B&B is run by a lovely couple, Lisa & Chris. The couple was actually married at their B&B last year and the love they have for the place shows. It's a beautiful property. The breakfast in the mornings is incredible. It's the best food we eat while in Eureka Springs. We stayed in the Saunders last year and the Clayton this year and they're both spacious and beautiful due to Lisa's wonderful decorating talent. I highly recommend Mount Victoria to anyone looking for only the best in Eureka Springs! This is IT!

Bob and I spent a fabulous three days at Mount Victoria. Lisa and Chris were wonderful hosts and the food was incredible! Thank you to Lisa and Chris for making our little "getaway" so enjoyable and relaxing!

My husband and I spent two wonderful days at Mount Victoria and were truly made to feel like welcome guests by Lisa & Chris. They provided great tips on hiking options and other activities in the town as well as excellent advice on dining locations. Our room (Mazaret) was very large (important to me!) and beautifully decorated with a super comfty bed, lovely linens and a wonderful veranda. The breakfast was fabulous and scrumptious -- out of this world pork tenderloin eggs benedict with an amazing lemon butter sauce one morning and a smoked chicken pastry that Chris smoked on his Big Green Egg in the backyard which we could smell one afternoon from our veranda! And Lisa's cookies are downright sinful. The inn is only a three block walk from the top of downtown Eureka Springs so its' really convenient to the great galleries, shops and restaurants. Don't miss Mount Victoria and Lisa & Chris --it doesn't get any better!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Our stay here was absolutely lovely and Lisa & Chris went out of their way to make certain our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. We had originally expected to arrive at the inn around seven o'clock - at eight o'clock, Lisa phoned us on our cell and realizing how far off we were, she offered to make a fruit and cheese platter for us to eat when we arrived because she explained most restaurants closed at nine o'clock. When we did finally arrive, Lisa & Chris had our room awaiting along with a huge, fresh fruit and cheese platter with crackers and a bottle of champagne (which I asked for when she called us and she went and bought for us). This wonderful personal attention carried through our entire stay - from bright greetings in the morning and cheerful breakfast conversations (breakfast is so amazing!!!); to recommendations on places to eat and things to do and see; to making us feel comfortable and at home. When we left, we actually felt like we were leaving behind old friends and we loved Molly too! We will be back!

Ample, private parking on site, social hour on Saturday afternoon, recommendations for dinner (plus Lisa being every so helpful making those reservations), beautiful and delicious breakfast, super friendly hosts, absolutely beautifully decorated rooms, heavenly huge Jacuzzi - What else could you possibly want? My husband I are returning next year to continue exploring Eureka Springs. The Mount Victoria, and Chris and Lisa, were a big part in our wanting to return. We loved this place!!!

Mount Victoria is our home away from home for the past two years. Lisa and Chris are super friendly, down to earth hosts that know the best places to shop and eat in Eureka Springs and Chris is very knowledgeable about other things pertaining to Eureka Springs and, much to my husband's delight, sports too! Their food is so amazing. We always order the private dinner and it is always the best food we eat while in Eureka Springs not to mention, of course, their breakfast. This B&B is exactly what you expect when you want the comfort and charm of the past and present mixed. Lisa has done a wonderful job decorating the B&B that ties them together as it is just beautiful. All the guests we've met during our stays at the inn are happy, relaxed and pampered. The Mount Victoria is definitely our place of choice away from home!

We have just returned from a three day stay at the Mount Victoria Bed and Breafkast. The owners, Lisa and Chris, are wonderful and accomidating and a lot of fun. We really enjoyed their social hour and getting to know the other guests. Our room (the Mazaret) was very large with a bed that was so comfortable we could have stayed all day. The house is large so there is very little noise from other guests. This house is on the historic loop and just a short walk to the shopping on Spring street downtown and a delightful restaurant called Ermilios where we ate twice because we liked it so much. No food we ate compared to the food at Mount Victoria. Lisa and Chris are such good cooks and we had our breakfast on our private veranda every morning and Chris's cheeseburgers one night too. If you have the chance stay at Mount Victoria because you won't be disappointed.

The inn is in a great location, the decor is beautiful, and it has a very cool history and feel to it. We felt totally comfortable and "at home" and pampered all at the same time. We really enjoyed the DVD selection (soooooo many to chose from!) and our room, the jackson, was gorgeous. Although we were on vacation we still had to check our email from time to time and the complimentary WIFI was a bonus and we had a really good signal all the way on the third floor too. The breakfasts were the best we have ever had. Lisa and Chris were so friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. My husband and I would never consider staying anywhere else in Eureka Springs and we highly recommend this wonderful inn.

It's really hard to put into words the level of comfort and hospitality we've recieved on our many trips to the Mount Victoria. If you're the type of person who enjoys beautiful surroundings, luxury, outstanding food and service then Mount Victoria is for you! We discovered the inn about two years ago and have visited Lisa & Chris 7 or 8 times since. We love the Mazaret and the balcony that comes with it because we like to eat our breakfast outside and Chris makes the most to-die-for breakfasts!! You won't need to eat lunch! The food is absolutely fantastic and we really enjoy their social hours. Lisa's food for the social hours is amazing! WOW!! We have stayed in B&Bs everywhere and The Mount Victoria ranks at the very, very, very top. Lisa & Chris' warmth and graciousness made us feel like family within minutes. Their beautiful family furnishings, comfortable bed with freshly pressed sheets, squeaky clean cleanliness, quiet and romantic surroundings and attention to every amazing detail made this a truly remarkable discovery. The breakfasts are so plentiful, wonderful....they are just decadent! We had so much fun with Lisa and Chris and the other guests at the inn's social hour....Lisa's food kept us going back for more and more and her mango margaritas were incredible - my husband had their lemon ice tea - and we loved the music playing in the background. We could not have asked for a better way to spend our 4th of July holiday - we had such a great time that we booked for next year before we left! This was truly an amazing experience! Kara & Brad

What more can I say about this beautiful bed and breakfast inn? My husband and I came for a three day vacation and did not want to go home! Mount Victoria is beautiful from when you first arrive and once you enter the inn it just gets better and better - it's so stylish and relaxing and "makes you feel so relaxed and comfortable." Lisa and Chris are the best hosts. We have stayed at a lot of bed and breakfasts and have never met such down to earth, helpful, genuine innkeepers. The food deserves a review all on its own! Chris is so talented! We could not wait for breakfast every morning to see what we were having and we were NEVER disappointed! Our room was super clean, super beautiful and relaxing and we loved eating our breakfast on our veranda in the mornings. We will never stay anywhere else in Eureka Springs now that we've found Lisa & Chris at Mount Victoria!!
