Located downtown, the oldest Victorian era inn operating in Arizona & featured in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Sunset magazine. Voted the #4 B&B in the country for the business traveler. The spacious guest suites (450-650 sq. ft.) feature period antiques, private bathrooms and comfortable sitting areas. The home also features many modern amenities including zoned heat and air conditioning, wireless internet throughout the house, home theatre lounge and free local and long distance & international calling from all guest rooms. Each room also offers satellite television, VCR/DVD, safe deposit box and refrigerator tucked inside antique armoires. Most rooms can be made into adjoining suites and have private entrances out to the pool and spa. Guests enjoy a gourmet breakfast each morning as well as afternoon refreshments.

Spent our Anniversary Weekend at "The Liz" and did not want to leave. Innkeepers were so welcoming and delightful. Perfect location and walking distance to downtown, UA, restaurants, museums, and night life. I will definately be coming back soon. Wonderful experience!

Entering the Royal Elizabeth is like stepping back in time. I spent hours just admiring the incredible detail and craftsmanship of the interior wood work. The decor harkens back to a by-gone era but the top-notch service and amenities keep you as comfortable as you would be in your own home. With close proximity to museums, parks and all that downtown Tucson has to offer it is truly a perfect place to stay. I cannot recommend the Royal Elizabeth enough - stay here and be amazed!!

We stayed for two nights (in August 2011) and did not want to leave. The place is magical. The hosts were wonderful - they made dinner reservations for us, and gave us directions and details on a few attractions we wanted to see inc. Sabino Canyon and the Desert Museum. The breakfast was spectacular, a 2-course gourmet, we are used to more of a continental breakfast at B&B's. We lounged at the pool, they let us check-out late (and we arrived early). We will definitely be back.

Such a wonderful gem situated in the middle of the up and coming downtown area. The Inn is grand and beautiful. The hospitality is fabulous. The food is incredible. We'll never stay anywhere else while in Tucson!!
