I love historic properties like this one, but I'm really most impressed with the value that we received for these beautiful accommodations. Lodging is absolutely affordable for the average traveler, and for downtowners, the location can't be beat. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance: the historic Hotel Congress and the Tucson Convention Center being the two most notable. The innkeepers maintain a warm, friendly environment, offering help with directions to dinner locations when we first arrived. The hot tub was clean and suitably private for relaxing, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Jim bakes the most delicious muffins daily, and you can choose between a wide variety of other fresh breakfast items. I'm officially a fan of this place and hope to stay again soon!

I just returned from a weekend at Armory Park Guesthouse. It was one of the most relaxing weekends I have had in a long time. I stayed in the Arizona room, which was extremely well furnished and much larger than I expected for the price. The breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Even in the middle of summer, I was able to eat in the well-shaded, relaxing courtyard. The next time I visit Tucson, I will definitely stay at Armory Park Guesthouse!

My wife and I stayed here a few nights during our honeymoon last march. It was clean, the food was great, the hosts were wonderful. There were no disappointments.

We stayed at Armory Park B&B in Tucson last week. We had delightful accommodations in the New Mexico Suite. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Now for the best part! The living room opens into a magical courtyard filled with grapefruit, lemon, and orange trees, plus fragrant and beautiful flowers. There is a koi pond with fish that we fed every morning. Also, a jacuzzi is available for your use. Every morning we walked over to the kitchen where we found a large bowl of the freshest fruit salad, warm homemade scones or muffins (I had to get the recipe), cereal, yogurt, juice, teas and coffee. The part we liked the most was loading our trays with all the delicious goodies and heading back (a short stroll) to the table and chairs by the koi pond which was right outside our guesthouse. It was a relaxing and beautiful way for my husband and I to start the day. A cozy breakfast by ourselves while basking in the warmth and beauty of the picturesque courtyard. Our hosts couldn't have been nicer. Jim attended to our every comfort and took us on a fascinating tour of their beautiful home. We have never experienced more cordial and caring hosts. We are going to return in November and we can't wait! Now if I can only duplicate those scones until we eat the originals again:)

    All round wonderful!

Armory Park is without a doubt one of the nicest B & B's I've stayed at. The courtyard is a beautiful oasis--scented jasmine blooming and citrus tress in fruit during our stay in early March. Ken is a helpful and welcoming host, and made very fine scones and fresh fruit salad for breakfast. I especially appreciated access to the kitchenette and coffee maker early in the morning. The neighborhood felt safe and is in easy walking distance to some great restaurants. Arizona suite rooms homey and comfortable.
