THE PENROSE is the only b&b built on the side of one of Sedona's famous red rocks. Each guest room has a panoramic view of other famous red rock formations as well. People come to Sedona for the red rocks. That is why The Penrose is known as "the place for red rock views."
Enjoy a complete breakfast by our award-winning Chef Callaghan-Morgan. Our servers offer a choice of Starbucks coffee, lattes, cappucinas, and assorted teas. We can accommodate special dietary restrictions as well. Make yourself at home with our fresh fruit, homemade bedtime treats, and a fridge full of free drinks.
Our staff is happy to advise you on hiking, shopping, dining, and side trips to the Grand Canyon, ancient Indian ruins, and other wonders of northern Arizona.
The Penrose is easy to find, in a quiet residential area, situated on 3 acres of blooming desert and wildlife.

Coming from the South on I-17 linking Phoenix and Flagstaff:
* Take exit 298 onto 179. Drive about seven miles north to the Village of Oak Creek.
* Proceed to the fourth round-about and turn west onto Bell Rock Blvd.
Coming from the North on 89A linking Flagstaff and Sedona:
* In Sedona turn left (south) on 179. Drive six miles to The Village of Oak Creek.
* Proceed to the first round-about and turn west onto Bell Rock Blvd.
Coming from the West on 89A linking Cottonwood and Sedona:
* Proceed through west Sedona to 179. Turn right (south) on 179.
* Drive six miles to the first round-about and turn west onto Bell Rock Blvd.
Then:
* At the 179/Bell Rock Blvd. intersection look for Plaza del Sol, a Circle K/76 gas station, Ace Hardware, and the Wildflower Inn on the corners.
* Turn west (right if coming from the north and Sedona; left if coming from the south and Phoenix) onto Bell Rock Blvd.
* Take the third right onto Red Butte Drive. Travel a third of a mile to the crest of Red Butte Dr.
* The Penrose--terra cotta-colored with large windows, second story balconies, and a deck--sits well above the road on the right.
* Look for the 250 address posted on the deck, the Penrose B&B sign, and, at night, the welcoming lights lining the driveway. Turn right in front of the house and deck. Continue up the drive until it dead-ends into the parking lot. - Nearest major airport: Phoenix, AZ (PHX-Sky Harbor Intl.)

Take I-10 west to I-17 north; exist at exist 298; go west about 6 miles on state hwy 179; turn west on Bell Rock Blvd; go three blocks and turn right on Red Butte Dr. The Penrose address is 250 Red Butte Dr.

Should you decide to cancel please give us at least 10 days prior notice.
For cancellations with 5 days or less notification, one-half of the total room charge will be withheld only if the room is not re-rented. No-shows and cancellations later than noon of the preceding day will be charged the full rate.
However, the total room charge will be withheld if there is no cancellation notification or if that notification occurs after noon on the day prior to the arrival day. Early departures will be billed one-half the total charge for the day(s) canceled only if the room is not re-rented. - Accepted by the following agencies:
