Mike and Angie welcome you to their B&B, “The Lodging Hub of Cochise County”. The B&B features 4 themed rooms with a large guest area and is located on The San Pedro River, one of the best birding areas in the US. The B&B is perfect for short day trips to historical sites, National Monuments, ghost towns, Tombstone, Bisbee, Kartchner Caverns, wineries, hiking, birding, San Pedro Valley Observatory and a movie studio. The dark night skies are wonderful for stargazing and the B&B has a Dobsonian telescope for your use. Enjoy the fantastic view along with a full breakfast.

Spent two nights and really enjoyed our stay. New owners Darren and Liz were top notch hosts and the food was excellent. Common area had a pool table, shuffle board and comfortable seating with a nice flat screen TV. Rooms have small refrigerator, microwave and tableware if you want to have an evening snack or stay in for a light dinner.

Spent three days trying to come up with anything negative and failed miserably. Place is like a museum, luxurious yet homey. Close to everything but remote. Coyotes and owls to listen to at night, ZERO road noise. Mike and Angie were more friend and family than hosts. Like a visit home, but better 'cause you're not mad at anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Down by The River B&B. Mike and Angie were terrific hosts. The bed was very comfortable and the gourmet breakfasts were among the best I have ever had. Mike's Smoothies are out of this world!

This was our first stay and will make it an annual visit. Mike & Angie are very sweet & accommodating. The property is breathtaking, especially as the sun rises. The beehive fireplace was a great feature in the Cowboy room. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was outstanding!

Couldn't ask for a better B&B , Mike and Angie are the best hosts ever. Their home is lovely, and breakfast is to die for. We enjoyed it so much, we cancelled another reservation we had previously made, and stayed another evening here. It was like leaving family when we left. Mel and Shirley Odegaard

Excellent location, albeit 'out in the boonies'....great facility; spacious, friendly folks -- I guess he best review we can give is that we are planning a return with friends!! the place is FULL of old west antiques and paintings. Highly recommended! (Why can't I rate the rooms etc as outstanding?? I would if it would let me!!)

Our four night stay at Down By The River Bed & Breakfast will be one of the most memorable experiences my wife and I have ever had. Mike made us feel at home with his hospitality, and the breakfasts were second to none. In fact my wife said they were the best she's ever had! Although it is off the beaten path, it is centrally located for the sights and activities in Southeastern Arizona. The area wildlife is amazing and quite diverse. We found it to be an excellent place to get away and spend some quiet time together. We enjoyed our evenings sitting on the patio and watching the spectacular monsoon thunderstorms and sunsets. We cannot wait for another visit in the future!

Wonderful out of the way location and so quiet. The decor of the Bird room and the common area was exceptional. Mike and Angie were outstanding hosts. Wished we could have stayed there longer than the 3 days that we did. There was lots to see in the area. Definitely would stay there again if we were in the area.

Very nice place. Gourmet breakfast. Hosts are interested in your experience at the inn. Great pool table. Would reccommend the inn to our friends. Don & Grace
