Arizona Sled Dog Inn
Against a backdrop of towering Ponderosas, stands the Arizona Sled Dog Inn, hewn from red cedar and ancient, reclaimed pine. We've decorated each of our ten bedrooms with lodge pole beds, handcrafted furniture and images of the North woods. Each room offers you a serene country view-forest on one side and meadow, the other. While the Inn's construction is new, history was built in. Timbers from a 100 year old railroad trestle in Utah, knotty pine flooring milled from beams reclaimed from the original Sears building in Chicago and hand rail cut from a Georgia cotton gin are all incorporated in our great room, as is lumber from Mountainaire's first residence-remnants of which can still be seen in the meadow. Each room has its own mountain theme, a full, private bathroom and firm, comfortable bed. A hearty home-cooked breakfast is served every morning in the comfortable downstairs dining room. Snacks and hot drinks are available throughout the day.
