Finca Ogawa is an 11 hectare working farm and vineyard located in the heart of Valle de Uco wine region, Argentina's version of Napa Valley. We are 10-15 minutes from some of the most famous wineries in Mendoza province. The accommodation we offer was originally constructed some 80 years ago for the owners of the finca. Our home is a Spanish style house with thick walls, high ceiling and traditional wooden windows. We have lovingly restored and recycled it into two charming little homes or "casitas"; Casa De Barbara and Casa De Martha. "Casa de Barbara" has 2 bedrooms and "Casa de Martha" features 1 master bedroom. Each casita has a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, living and dining room. You can relax on the covered verandas with spectacular views of the Andes and enjoy the wine country's 300 plus days of sunshine per year! We welcome your visit.

Serene setting with the comforts of home. Close to vineyards, local stores & restaurants.We felt like part of the the local community, not to mention part of the owners family. Finca Ogawa is country living at its best, surrounded by a vineyard, walnut orchard & the towering Andes in the distance. Access to the vast vegetable garden is fresh & healthy addition to the kitchen. Excellent place to recharge & enjoy a little R&R.

Peaceful setting in a rural area that is off the beaten path for tourists. A good place to enjoy a little slice of farm life without being too far from civilization. Well-equipped kitchen and parilla. Caretaker and family always there to help. Simple, clean and a bit rustic, but very enjoyable.

We enjoy fly fishing, world travel, wine making and gardening. We love to explore cooking and baking in our traditional Argentine mud oven. Visiting with local artists and musicians is always a wonderful time for us! However, meeting new people and sharing our finca in Argentina is truly our favorite thing to do!

Casa de Barbara is a 600 sq. feet 2 bedroom home or "casita". One bedroom has a king size bed and the second has 2 twin beds. The casita has 1 shared bathroom, living room, dining room, full kitchen and a 320 sq. feet veranda with outdoor parrilla. It is located in a working vineyard/orchard with seasonal fruits and vegetables to enjoy. The Andes provide a stunning background for an evening on the veranda!

Casa de Martha is a 550 sq. feet 1 bedroom home/casita. The 1 bedroom has a king size bed and a private bathroom. There is also a living room, dining room, full kitchen and a 280 sq. feet veranda with outdoor parrilla. This casita will accommodate up to 2 additional people with the queen size couch bed in the living room. Casa de Martha is 80 years old and has been lovingly restored. It is located in a vineyard/orchard and features seasonal fruits and vegetables for your enjoyment.

What a great time I had for my first trip to Mendoza! With the European influence, open-air caf'es,great salads and pastas dishes and, not to mention, great wines and Tangos after midnight, it was a little bit of heaven! I must say through, what made the trip really perfect was being able to stay at Finca Ogawa. John and Martha went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and then some. The morning walks on the Finca were quiet and serene with breathtaking views of the morning sun on the Andes mountains. Of course, the fresh raspberries and homemade bread in the morning was pretty good too! I also must mention the caretaker family(Tito,Roxana and their two children) They also went out of their way to accommodate me in every way they could. Roxana was the one that made the homemade bread! Yes, I think at the end of the day, I would go back again. Great trip! Bob Harris.

my wife and I stayed at finac Ogawa, it offered us a the wonderfull/ charming place to stay in the heart of one of the most interesting wine regions we have ever experienced. We are already re -booked for 2009. highly recomend

Finca Ogawa is located on Calle Bascunan(a well-groomed dirt road with no signs) approximately ten minutes west of the town of Tunuyan. Air travelers will arrive in the city of Mendoza. The 90 kilometer (56 mile) drive takes 1 to 1-1/2 hours depending on traffic. Be sure to check our website for a map and driving directions.

Prior to your arrival we can arrange pick up at the Mendoza airport or at the bus station. We are located in the country and road signs don't always exist! Once you're there it is easy to find again! A map and driving directions can be found on our website.
