I love Posado Palermo. The rooms are lovely and far more interesting than your average B&B or hotel in Buenos Aires. The breakfast is an friendly "tuck in and eat as much as you like" affair, with home-made marmalade, home-made bread, eggs (cooked to your liking), toasted sandwiches...I could go on. The location is pretty darn good. It's not quite in my favourite part of the Palermo district (Palermo Soho, which is about ten blocks away - so still very accessible), but it is pretty darn handy for the shops and cinema. It's a short 5min walk to the nearest subway station (Bulnes) which is how I tended to get into the city's 'microcenter'. The team at Posada Palermo are really friendly, especially in light of my total inability to speak Spanish. And there is a lovely dog living there...I miss her. I stayed for a couple of weeks and will definitely be back at some point. Not the cheapest accommodation option in Buenos Aires - sometimes you get what you pay for - but represents great value for money! If you are staying for a while, it might be worth asking to see whether a discount is possible, especially at off-peak times of year. I strongly recommend it here! Their website is great, and gives an accurate picture of what it is like to stay at this B&B - take a look: www.posadapalermo.com

I came from Boston with a friend in April. This B&B had been recommended by friends who stayed here a few years ago. It was as they remembered. Perfect location for subway and walking. Viviana & Alejandro treated us like family. I believe we arrived a bit early and then had to leave somewhat after check-out; they were gracious about it as always. The rooms were spotless, the breaksfasts lovely and the service couldn't have been better. My stay here really contributed to my falling in love with Buenos Aries. I hope to return someday and would never consider staying elsewhere!

A great place to stay in a convenient area, close to a subway station and buses. The rooms are very clean, the staff helpful and breakfast gorgeous! I'd recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay at a warm home in Buenos Aires.
