Jacaranda Studio & Suite

The stay at Jacaranda was perfect. Lilian gave us a lot of useful information about Buenos Aires. The apartment was small, clean and nicely decorated. A small kitchen is integrated, and the owner thought of anything you might need (shampoo, free welcome drinks in the fridge, an umbrella etc). Breakfast was included - you had the choice between two cute cafés across the street. Palermo is a safe neighborhood and comfortable to stay. I would definitely stay at Jacaranda again.

Está bien situado y la calle es bastante tranquila, rodeado de buenos restaurantes, tiendas de ropa y galerías de arte. El apartamento-suite es grande y luminoso, con vistas al pequeño jardín interior y a la calle. Tiene una cama cómoda, además de muchos detalles que lo hacen confortable y práctico. Estuvimos además un par de noches en otra habitación que da al jardín. Es pequeña pero también agradable. En el Jacarandá todo funciona bien! El desayuno se sirve en un bar al otro lado de la calle, atendido por gente muy agradable. Lilián, la propietaria, es encantadora y nos asesoró en todo lo que un extranjero puede necesitar en una ciudad tan enorme como Buenos Aires -desde antes de legar y hasta nuestra partida-. Nos sentimos como en casa. Totalmente recomendable.

Absolutamente recomendable, las fotos muestran tal cual el lugar, muy espacioso, muy luminoso, ventilado, de muy buen gusto la decoraciòn, y la comodidad de las camas que son espectaculares! En fin todo lo que buscamos cuando salimos de vacaciones. Quiero agregar a todo èsto, la amabilidad de Liliàn, ademàs de facilitarnos todos los piques de la ciudad. El entorno, muy tranquilo y seguro, ademàs de pintoresco. Ya lo estoy recomendando a todos mis conocidos.

My wife and I met our 2 daughters for a week’s stay at Jacaranda in Buenos Aires in May. We had a fantastic week in Buenos Aires and the suite we lived in was perfect for our family reunion. It was our family home for the week; cozy, clean, private, and comfortable; very different from the large hotel experience. Also, its location is great. We ate several times at places that were within walking distance. And, we frequented a market that was only 2 doors down. Lilian is the ultimate concierge. She set us up for several events and outings, all of which turned out perfectly (She interviewed us at length to make sure she would be sending us to the perfect Tango Show). We highly recommend a stay at Jacaranda in Buenos Aires. Book quickly though. I think the word is getting out. Chris and Anne Carlson

This was the final stop of a 9 month backpacking journey for me, and I can honestly say that I needed some serious R&R! Not only does the suite at Jacaranda have the most fantastic location in BA (right in the heart of all the greatest restaurants and bars), it is also an oasis that I will never forget. My mission for my 7 days in BA was just to stroll around every day, watch a football match (Boca Juniors), and sample as many restaurants and bars as possible. This was an outstanding base to do all of these things. With the French windows wide open letting in the breeze from the courtyard outside, I was even able to have an afternoon nap every day, and I can tell you one thing, I am not an afternoon napper! The owner, Lilian, is a delight. She stocked my private fridge full of free beverages and was on hand when I arrived to give me various maps and suggest the best spots to eat and drink. Her husband even organised me a hugely discounted ticket to watch the Boca Juniors football, with a seat right alongside the pitch! Take it from me - after 9 months on the road through South East Asia and South America and having stayed in over 75 different hotels, B&B's and Guesthouses, I can tell you that this seems very much like a hidden gem that you would be crazy to miss out on. Take a look at my pictures - I even have one panoramic one of myself having an afternoon nap (just to document this rare occurrence). A+ rating from me, and a place that I will definitely stay at again when next in the beautiful BA.

We stayed in this place for 10 days. The owners are very friendly and helpful and help you find nice places to go in BA. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and have a very good atmosphere. Just as important is the location, all the nice restaurants, bars and designershops are just walking distance away!! I would definately recommend this to everyone! You just feel at home right away in this vibrant city!!

This is a very cute apartment for a great price. Lilian the owner, is a wonderful lady and she really can show you how to have a good time if you are going to buenos aires without knowing the place. She has a list of restaurants to eat at that were all great, great advice on site-seeing activities! The best part though is the location for the price, not only is the apartment extremely cozzy but Palermo is a wonderful area, full of great restaurants and bars to go to and much more relaxed than the center of the city. Me and my girlfriend loved our stay there and only have positive things to say about the place and how she runs the place. You will get great advice upon arrival and feel very comfortable at this apartment.

Jacarand¿ est¿ en la mejor zona de Palermo Soho, en una zona tranquila pero a pasos de los mejores restaurantes y tiendas. Estuve en la Suite con mi marido y 2 hijas, qu¿ lugar luminoso y agradable! Estuvimos muy c¿modos y el precio es muy razonable para el servicio que se brinda y la calidad del alojamiento: camas comod¿simas, s¿banas, toallas, jarra electrica, heladera. Adem¿s los datos que nos dieron los dueños fueron excelentes, y siempre estuvieron para responder cualquier duda, sin interferir nuestra privacidad. Definitivamente mi lugar para recomendar en Buenos Aires.

I recently stayed five nights at the Jacaranda, in the Garden Suite. I definitely recommend it. If you like designer shops, excellent bars and restaurants and being in an upscale part of town you can't do better. Lilian and Alfonso are fantastic, with lots of tips and recommendations for whatever you would like to do, and checking in to ensure that you are enjoying their city. Next time I'm in BA I will be staying there for sure.

I stayed for 4 nights in the Garden suite. This is not large, but very clean and excellent value for the location. It opens on to a courtyard, which would have been great, except we experienced rain for most of the time we were there. There's a small kitchen (cupboard), but great to have kettle, fridge, microwave etc. The location is brilliant, right in Palermo, close to restaurants and shops, and about 2 minutes walk from the famous La Cabrera. But the best thing is personal service from the owners, Lilian and Alfonso, who gave us a great description of Buenos Aires, what to do and what to avoid. Unfortunately we were robbed on the last day in La Boca and Lilian and Alfonso were really great helping us to get back on our feet.

I loved my stay here. Lilian spoke perfect English, and was waiting for us with tons of ideas on places to shop, eat, drink, and see! The accommodations themselves were cozy and clean, with gorgeous artwork and a view of the tiny courtyard in the center of the building. We stayed in the suite, which was fine and roomy enough for 2 traveling friends. The studio is much larger, could probably fit 3 or 4 people in there. The included breakfast was at a little cafe across the street. Trendy bars, delicious restaurants, and the best shopping were practically next door. Wish I could have stayed here forever, and SO affordable! Book this place ASAP!

The hostess of the studio is very welcoming and accommodating to travelers. She helped make our first trip very pleasurable. The location is perfect. Steps away from boutiques, cafes and everything Palermo offers. Great value to have your own place in the heart of BA. The room size is about the same as a hotel room, but the plus side is your privacy and independence. Overall, great!
