For a city dweller who loves the peace of nature, this was a relaxing and refreshing getaway. The host are cordial and available, but not intrusive. The food was not olny fabulous, but served as in a fine restuarant--making me feel pampered (I am so tired of cooking). I guess the most important thing I can say is I did not feel like I was in a hotel, but visiting a warm and relaxing home where my needs and comforts were thought of before I arrived. If Prairie Creek was closer to my home (I live in TX), I would make it a regular retreat.

We are a family of four and stayed spring 2007. Very clean and beautiful cabin, inside and out. Granite countertops and stone fireplace. Full kitchen, plus bar-bec-que on the deck. We went for walks along the river, very relaxing. We had a great time.
