A Mooseberry Inn B&B is a hidden treasure! The rooms are very clean and cozy. Breakfast was outstanding!

Exceeded expectations. I made a quick round trip to the border from Anchorage with my road trip partner, our 12 year old son. This B&B in Tok was the perfect "pit stop" for our trip that was on an odd schedule (my appointment was at midnight). The Inn was very comfortable on both upper and lower levels at 35 degree below zero temperatures. I was provided with a plug-in for my vehicle so that I would have no starting problems in the morning. We needed to sleep in late and missed the 8:00 Breakfast. We woke up later to breakfast warm in the oven, coffee hot on the table, etc. with nice settings and it was excellent. Room Tip: Room variations from twin beds to queen accommodate any group of travelers.

The stay was very nice and comfortable. The house was kept warm and we were not cold at all while it was 50 below. The hosts were friendly and informed us as to how we can keep our car working well at 50 below. The price was nice and the bed was comfortable. The jacuzzi bathtub worked nicely. The mooseberry room is great, but know that it is next to the kitchen and you will hear the breakfast prep in the morning. This didn't bother us, but it is something to consider if you like to sleep in.

Very nice place to stay while traveling through Tok. Very comfortable bed in the Snowberry Room! Great if you have dogs also.

Maggie and Damon are so welcoming and the breakfast is amazing! I'm a bit of a coffeesnob and they serve GREAT coffee too! I've stayed twice with them travelling through Tok and don't plan to stay anywhere else. Maggie has opened a coffeeshop in Tok now as well, the coffee and food there was just as fabulous.

Interior design was cozy with a personal touch and made us right feel at home. From high-quality bedding and furniture, to the extra attention and service with breakfast, the Inn has it all. We really appreciated Damon and Maggie's hospitality and would definitely recommend the Inn for the perfect getaway in Tok!

Very nice room but small. We arrived and were greeted graciously. Our departure time was early so had no opportunity to get breakfast or coffee. Breakfast was not served until 8 AM and coffee was programmed to start at 7, so we set off coffeeless. Coffee for travel is important to us!

Thank you for your review. We are sorry about the Coffee situation. We usually set the coffee maker to start brewing at least 1/2 hour before the departure of our earliest guests. Maybe we did not hear you say what time you were leaving. I am a coffee drinker and hear what you are saying. Thank you again for staying with us.

We had a very nice stay here on our way from Alaska to the Lower 48. It was clean, the room was very large, and the breakfast was first rate. We would definitely stay here again on our way through and would recommend it highly.

I am writing my review after my second stay at Mooseberry B&B. I was pleasantly surprised when I first stayed and after my second visit, I can't wait for the third. This B&B is unlike any other I've been to; the rooms come with a private balcony, large bathrooms, elegant and comfortable bedrooms, and the CLEAN & beautifully decorated interior is wonderfully cozy. The food was delicious and the coffee was out of this world. I slept like a baby and was actually sad to be leaving this time. Maggie is extremely personable and goes out of her way to make sure your every wish is met. I can't say enough what a lovely B&B the Brooks' have created. We stayed at the Mooseberry Inn for one night in August 2012. The Room was as clean as it gets and the bet very comfortable. The house is very cozy and charming. The breakfast was very tasty comprising of freshly baked waffles with fresh berries and whipped cream and yogurt with syrup. The owners have a big DVD collection that guests have access to in case they want to stay in. All-in-all it was one of the best b&b we stayed during our 20-day trip to Alaska. Thanks Maggie and Damon for making us feel at home!

Stayed one night with my wife and daughter on our way to Alaska. We felt like staying in a friends house more than in a hotel. Home made breakfast was great. There was extra drinks and food in the fridge and home made cookies in a jar. We were told to help ourself to food. We will definitely come again if we are passing this way.

Maggie and Damon provide friendly service and have a welcoming B&B. I actually had to cancel at the last minute due to a vehicle breakdown, and instead of charging me a no show they worked with me to change the reservation so I would be able to stay a few days later. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were charming and very clean. I hope to stay again when traveling through to get my repaired vehicle. Susan

Our room was nicely decorated, had a comfortable bed and a private deck to relax. The breakfasts were delicious and served in the common room at 8am. If in the aerea we would stay there again.

Tucked away from traffic, this B&B is very well designed, with a separate kitchen/building for the guests; it makes for a very stress free environment My only improvement, and the ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars, was the lack of a bathroom fan. The rooms are quiet, the ambience is wonderful, the breakfast delicious.

Top class accommodation in a quiet wooded area. Very comfortable room with all amenitites. An excellent breakfast was provided to start the day. Would recommend this property without hesitation.

On our way to Alaska and a few weeks later back we visited the Mooseberry Inn. We were pleasently surprised by the wealthyness and warm colors of the rooms and the very rich and nice breakfast. Our compliments to Damon. We enjoyed our stay very much and will recommend to every one who wants to visit the gateway to Alaska.

This was the nicest place to stay after a long day site seeing, Damon cooked an excellent breakfast to start the day of travel. I regimmend this B&B. One small disappointment we were traveling with another couple and made our revervation in January, but when we arrived they swapped us for a two twin bed room instead of our original King we had booked. This was B/C someone else was staying more days. This is really unexceptable even though they gave us a discount. I am sure the twin room could have been rented. In my opinion it comes down to money and greed !

I did not know you were unhappy with the room change after I asked for your permission and offered the room half price. Going by your response it was ok to switch you to the twin room since we had a full night that night and no other rooms were available. Again, my sincere apollogies

The rooms were sparkling clean, quiet and comfortable. Damon and Maggie were perfect hosts. The breakfast is the very best you'll find. If you're ever within 200 miles of Tok and would like a wonderful place to stay for a night or two, I would recommend the Mooseberry Inn.

I'm giving Mooseberry five stars because of the honorable treatment that we were given by the management. We were really looking forward to staying there but had car trouble near Delta Junction. We were only able to give Mooseberry a couple of hours notice before we were expected to arrive. In any event, they were able to rent the room and didn't charge us anything. It's great to see such ethical treatment. I hope to stay there in the future. The pictures of the rooms look charming and they have great reviews. Gary Sleater Chandler,AZ

The stay at The Mooseberry Inn was brought about by business in the area. However the room was affordable and would make a very nice place to stay for a Holiday. The service was excellent and very considerate of our needs. We missed breakfast but had snacks and coffee waiting as we left very ealry in the morning. Thanks Maggie!

The bed was a little cramped for two people, but that's probably because I'm used to a king sized bed. Otherwise, everything was meticulously clean, warm, and inviting. The breakfast is as good as everyone says. If you are passing through Tok you should definitely go a little off the beaten path and stay here!

Arrived late for a 1 night stay on a business trip. the room was clean and warm on a frigid night. Woke up to the smell of coffee. Breakfast was great and the company and conversation was enjoyable. I'll stay here again if I'm in the area. AK

Everything about the mooseberry B&B was wonderful. The only reason I gave the room a 4 instead of 5 was because some of the fixtures didn't fit the holes in the room that they were meant for, it wasn't unsafe or anything, just noticed it. But the beds were really comfy, the sheets and blankets were nice. The owners were really nice as well. Breakfast was delicious and it was fun talking with the other travelers. A note for all, they accept pets, so if you have one you can stay here!

We stayed at A Mooseberry Inn in September. It is a lovely property and the owners were very helpful and friendly. Rooms was very nice, lovely bathroom and hundreds on channels on the satelite TV (a real bonus in Alaska). Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We stayed at A Mooseberry Inn twice in September. We knew the place as we had already stayed at this B&B two years ago. The rooms are impeccable and the breakfast is great . Maggie and Damon are very kind people who do their best to make your stay comfortable.

The Mooseberry was a very nice place to stay, the Iceberry room which we had is not suitable for 2 adults. It was a very small room with a very small bed, about 4 feet wide and a bathroom that you had to squeeze into. The other rooms appeared larger. They were very friendly hosts and a good breakfast, it was just the room and bed size.

We didn't expect much in Tok, Alaska, but A Mooseberry Inn was delightful. Our hostess was friendly and helpful and accomodating, the room was comfortable and breakfast was outstanding. Stay here if you can.

Maggie is a great hostess-- delicious, elegantly-served breakfast. Serene, beautiful surroundings. Lovely furnishings & the private balcony was roomy and a very nice treat. Super clean & modern facilities.

This is my first bed and breakfast and I must say it was a very humbling experience. I was traveling from NY to Alaska and with the weather being a bit cold I decided to treat myself with a B&B. Maggie was so nice and the atmosphere almost felt like home. I would recommend this place to anyone! five stars!

What a delightful place to stay both on our way to and returning from Dawson City. Absolutely charming accommodations with a high standard of cleanliness. Maggie and Damon were welcoming, friendly and helpful and served us an excellent breakfast. Would certainly recommend this B&B.

The BB is cute, but a little too expensive I think. But there is absolutly nothing to do in Tok, and Dawson city or others cities are not so far.

Inn was clean and very comfortable. Innkeepers were very friendly and accommodating but did not hover. Breakfast was superb with good conversation.

Maggie and Damon have a beautiful place, with excellent rooms. Breakfast was yummie, try the reindeer sausages! The place to meet old classmates which you haven't seen in 30 years and are now even living on a different continent then yourself!!! That made the whole experience of the Moosberry Inn complete. We had an absolutely wonderful rest in this quiet setting and the breakfast was truly stellar.

Walking into the room for the 1st time was surprisingly pleasing. One could tell from the moment you walked in that much care and attention had been given to detail and to making sure that the decore and colour finishings complimented the atmoshere that would make your guests relaxed and comfortable in their surroundings. We had a delightful stay in a very nicely decorated room with our own private balcony. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Maggie and Damon were very friendly and made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Our party took three of the four rooms, and we were all very happy with our stay. The breakfast spread was delightful!

Rooms are very tastefully decorated and breakfast is filling, if a little lacking in choice (only one choice of cooked meal). No individual room keys are provided, so one has to rely on the honesty of fellow guests at the B&B.

We spent the night twice at A Moosberry Inn B&B, Tok. We had the Moosberry room (first floor). Room was sedate equipped, clean and it did not lack in anything (included dressing gowns and slippers). Breakfast was outstanding. Maggie was the perfect host.

It was a great place, exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautifuul done. The food was great. Maggie was more than cooperative when we had to make an unexpected change in our reservations. Can't say enough positive things about her place.

Lovely place -- Maggie does a wonderful job running a B&B. I stayed in 2 different rooms - the Iceberry and the Snowberry. The Iceberry was fine, but a bit noisy because it sits over the kitchen. I highly recommend the Snowberry.

We have recently returned from a most enjoyable experience in Alaska and greatly appreciated the hospitality of all our B& homes.

A great place and a terrific hostess. Look forward to staying again in July.

Business takes me to Tok yearly and this was my second stay at Mooseberry Inn. It is my first choice now. The price is very good, the service is great and it is a very homey comfortable place to stay.

A Mooseberry Inn was very welcoming & homey. Damon was a great host and cooked us wonderful breakfasts. Being an Alaskan, I would have prefered the heater turned down a bit, but other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a great way to end a long day traveling the ALCAN. Maggie was great. The food was wonderful and the room was cozy and comfortable. Staying at the Mooseberry was like visiting at a favorite relative or friend's house. It was quite inviting and Maggie and Damon made us feel right at home.

We stayed at the Mooseberry Inn on our last night driving up the Alcan Highway to Alaska from Colorado. It was very peaceful and relaxing, and our hosts were so hospitable! We will definitely be staying there again when traveling through Tok!

The inn is decorated in exquisite taste and yet very homey. Quiet, very nice room amenities. Breakfast was just not bagels and sweet rolls. It was a very large and scrumptious breakfast. We were stuffed!! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. A real find!
