Nestled in the milieu of the Saddlenotch Mountains and the Matanuska Glacier, this new log lodge, open year-round provides stunning views and luxurious amenities. The Lodge contains four bedrooms , each with king sized beds and private bathrooms, providing a perfect atmosphere for anyone looking to step into the Alaskan wilderness, while also being surrounded by luxurious accommodations. Activities in and around the lodge include canoeing and kayaking in the forty acre lake which sits 2 minutes from the lodge's back porch. A large heated hot tub rests on the deck, awaiting guests after a day of hiking, cross country skiing, rafting, glacier or ice climbing, ATV trips to the back country, or a restful day of bird watching. For those who prefer a more peaceful day, a beautiful English garden is available to relax in and absorb one's surroundings. Other amenities include a pool table, limited exercise equipment, wireless internet, big screen television, black out shades for comfort sleeping, and roaring fireplaces. All meals are provided for, however sana liquor license, guests are invited to bring their own alcoholic beverages. A four season mecca, regardless of the season or itinerary, one simply cannot put a price tag on the peacefulness of the Matanuska Lodge.
