Rose Ridge is situated on fifteen, secluded,wooded acres in south-central Alaska's Matanuska Valley. We offer two rooms in our B&B and a Vacation Chalet that is fully self contained and sleeps six. In the B&B, a shared family room is stocked with videos, games, books and area information. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and private. Rooms sleep up to four guests. There is a private bath and private entrance for your convenience. A hearty continental breakfast is provided fresh daily. Rose Ridge is close to many attractions and activities in the Palmer, Hatcher Pass, and Wasilla area including hiking, salmon fishing, boating, golfing, the Musk Ox Farm, and Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race Headquarters. There is so much to see and do that you will want to stay several days to see it all.

Take the Glenn Highway north for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Fishhook Road. At mile 5 of Fishhook, turn left on New Hope Street and proceed for approximately ½ mile and turn left onto Raleigh Hills Street. Take the second left onto Highlander Circle. Rose Ridge is the last house on the right. Tan with Maroon trim. - Nearest major airport: Anchorage, AK (ANC) 45 miles

Upon leaving Anchorage International Airport on International Airport Road, proceed for approximately 1 mile, exit on Minnesota Blvd. And go north. At the first light, go right onto Tudor Road. Stay on Tudor as it goes for several miles, rounds a curve and becomes Muldoon Road. Continue on Muldoon until you see an exit for Glenn Highway North. Enter the Glenn Highway and follow it through Palmer (40 miles) for an additional 2 miles. Turn left onto Palmer Fishhook Road. Go 5.5 miles and turn left onto New Hope Street. Take the next left, which is Raleigh Hills Street. Take the second left onto Highlander Circle. Rise Ridge is at 8614 East Highlander.

Your hosts, David and Diane Rose, are 40 year Alaska residents. We have two daughters. Diane is very involved in the local visitor industry and enjoys hiking, camping, and reading. David is in the construction industry and enjoys gardening, landscaping, and photography. He built Rose Ridge himself in 1997. - The innkeepers speak: English
