The location can't be beat in the Kasilof/Kenai/Soldotna area. It's so relaxing to sit on the deck in the evening and watch the river or have a bonfire in one of the fire pits. It's a great mix of independence- with breakfast and snacks at your disposal when you want them- and a chance to mingle with the other guests in the common kitchen and dining areas.

This place is amazing. Clean, newly developed, affordable and in a great central location to many fishing areas. Far exceeded my expectations and blew away the other bnb we stayed that was far more expensive.

WOW explains this place very well if to say it in 1 word. The tennants are very friendly, the views are to die for and for the outdoorsman it is a slice of heaven. Waking up to a hot pot of coffee and overlooking the river from a lazy boy thinking of the day of fishing ahead. I caught enough salmon to last the whole year. The halibut excursion was my wife's favorite. Then coming back to the beautiful lodge just made the trip that much more rewarding. with Soldatna just minutes away, we had everything to make this trip a success. Have a great stay! Thanks Dot and Bob, you are awesome !

Any time that I have stayed at the Gallery Lodge, the warm welcome has always been appreciated! I love the fact that I can drive 3.5 hours from Anchorage and enjoy staying in a place that is very nice , very clean, and most enjoy the senery off the beautiful decks looking out to the beautiful Kasilof River! I have always enjoyed the friendliness of the owners that will be on site mostly all the time! I feel like this would be a great place to bring my whole family for a reunion and have fun fishing, enjoying the joys of what Alaska offers and enjoying the Kenai Pennisula and all of its beauty! Thank you for such a wonderful opportunity at your wonderful Lodge! Molly Brady

You'll love it at Gallery Lodge! On our way to the lodge we watched for Whales, had a Lynx cross in front of our car, and 2 days after arriving, saw a family of moose! We also saw an eagle fly by the lodge almost every morning. This is the best place ever! The accommodations are very quiet, peaceful, and exceptionally, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Just perfect! I loved the room and kitchen. There were snacks, beverages, and plenty to eat for breakfast. There's even a big Theatre room with Big Screen and real theatre lighting and carpeting! Our daughters liked the large room for tumbling but you could film your own movie and view it on the theatrical big screen right at the lodge! Gallery Lodge is great for weddings, family reunions, honeymoons, or just go to get away and relax like we did. Dot was so helpful when we arrived by giving us ideas on what to do and what restaurants to enjoy when we got there. We didn't plan adventures before we arrived, and we didn't have to. Within just a few minutes we saw the ocean, went clamming, fishing, and sight seeing. Dot has many beautiful oil paintings, and photographs of the surroundings and other scenery. She was even available to take a few snap shots of us. We are definitely coming back every year and already booked our next trip! Dawn Kalana
