    Fairbanks in March

    May 09, 2012

The purpose of our visit to Fairbanks was to photo the northern lights. The accommodations were excellent. Stayed in the apartment and the bedrooms were quiet (anytime of the night or day). The breakfasts were excellent. Being up and outside to 3 or 4 in the morning taking pictures didn’t mean that I was going to miss the real treat of the trip – Jo’s breakfast. Dale and Jo were exceptional hosts. They did whatever was necessary to make our trip a pleasure. The location was very good and convenient for photographing the northern lights, spent 2 of the 4 nights at Dales & Jo’s. The other nights were at Ester Dome, a short drive. The view from Dale & Jo’s made for great daytime photos. Wouldn’t change a thing.

    "Wonderful B&B and Great Hosts"

    March 30, 2012

I can't say enough how special the owners of Dale and Jo View Suites are. The best choice we made for our first visit to Alaska and to view the Northern Lights was staying with Dale and Jo. Through years of experience they have mastered their craft. The breakfasts were beyond amazing and different each morning. Everything homemade fresh out of the oven. The accommodations impeccable, but the best part of our trip was feeling like we were staying with family. The Northern Lights did come out for us and thanks to Dale for knocking on our door to wake us up. We had planned on getting up every 30 minutes to look for them, but the bed was so comfortable we slept right through the alarm. This was the perfect place to see the Aurora. We could see them from our room, (The Spa Room), but going outside and watching the Lights with the other guest, just added to the experience and the beauty. We can't recommend this B&B highly enough. The next time we visit Fairbanks, Alaska, we will definitely stay with Dale and Jo.

    GREAT HOUSE, WONDERFUL HOSTS

    January 12, 2012

This is THE place to stay in Fairbanks! During our weekend stay, the hosts were fabulous -- cordial and friendly. We stayed in the beautiful Spa Room with a King Select Number Bed and an immaculately clean, huge en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was served in an impeccably-appointed dining room. Afterwards, we enjoyed our coffee around the table with other guest. The house and hosts are everything you could want (and more). We will absolutely return!

    "We felt pampered!”

    June 30, 2011

If you want to stay somewhere that has every comfort and attention to detail available then this is the B & B for you! We arrived pretty frazzled - but left feeling so pampered and spoiled. Dale and Jo will make you feel so special and like you are the only guest in the house. The breakfast is to die for. Jo made everything homemade fresh that morning. We could smell all those great morning breakfast smells in our room which really made hungry. It was more than we could eat, but of course ate it all anyway. Plus this B & B is absolulety spotlessly clean! We can't wait to stay at Dale and Jo View Suites again!

    Pleasant room and great breakfast

    June 23, 2011

Located a little out of town, but not hard to get to, this B&B offered a very nice bedroom and common room, and the breakfasts were special. You will have to drive anywhere you want to go.

    Innkeeper Response
We are glad our guest enjoyed their stay. We are in the borough of Fairbanks just 10 minutes from the University or 15 minutes from the airport. Fairbanks the city is 15 minutes away. The common room mentioned also has a full guest kitchen and dining room plus views of the Alaska Range and confluences of the rivers.

    Serene and peaceful

    May 31, 2011

I'm typically not a fan of B&Bs because I feel like an intruder in the person's home and they are rarely designed to reduce sounds throughout the house so I hear every conversation and foot step, but not so with Dale & Jo View Suites. It is so quite that I never hear a peep at all and Jo is a wonderful hostess not to mention a wonderful frittata for breakfast. As if that weren't enough, the rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable (Sleep Number mattress) plus the view is outstanding. Jo makes me feel like a princess everytime and I always stay there when in Fairbanks. I recommend this place to everyone I know who travels to Fairbanks.

    What a beautiful place!

    March 17, 2011

We recently spent 4 nights at Dale and Jo's B&B and loved every minute. Like many others who go to Fairbanks in the winter, we'd hoped to see the auroral activity. This B&B is conveniently located in Fairbanks but far enough away from the lights of the city and on a hill to allow for wonderful viewing of the aurora through the multiple view windows in the rooms or outside on the quiet and beautiful property. (We were lucky enough to see the lights the first two nights of our stay.) The whole house is beautifully and artistically decorated; the rooms are very comfortable and warm. Finally, Dale and Jo are gracious, warm, and knowledgeable hosts. You couldn't ask for better accommodations in Fairbanks! Exceptional and very highly recommended!
