What a great Bed and Breakfast and the Perfect place to view the Northern Lights. We stayed here March 2013 and had a great time. The room was extremely clean and so very quite. The views are breathtaking, not only at night while watching the Aurora dance in the sky, but after the sun came up and you can see the Alaska Range and Mt. Denali. The breakfast that Jo fixed hot right out of the oven was always more than enough. Most days after spending the night outside watching the Aurora, we would get up just in time for breakfast, then go back to bed until around noon. It was a great way to spend a vacation and would go back to Dale and Jo's again with no second thoughts.

This was our first time to Alaska so we wanted to choose a place that would give us the most for our money. After reading reviews and doing much researching, we decided on Dale and Jo View Suites. Best choice we could have made. Dale and Jo greeted us upon our arrival and from that moment on we felt like family. The room, Flower Room, was spotless thanks to Amanda their housekeeper. This is a very large room when it comes to B&B's. The breakfast each morning was served hot and fresh right out of the oven by Jo. Everything is home made and I can not wait for her cookbook to come out. We where never served the same breakfast twice which was also very nice. The views are amazing from anywhere on the property. The home is located just a few minutes from Fairbanks proper which is just what we had wanted. Close enough to make it easy to do and see things, yet far enough out to give us that country setting. If your going to Fairbanks for one night or a ten nights, this is the place to stay.

My husband and I spent a few nights here June of 2013. It was the highlight of all the places we stayed while in Alaska. Dale and Jo are wonderful host. Warm and very welcoming. From the moment we arrived to when we had to depart we were made to feel as part of the family. The room was very, very clean, the hot breakfast was very filling. Kept us going until dinner. The select number bed i love that bed. After a couple nights sleep we got rid of all the aches of pains of traveling. This has got to be, in my opinion, the best bed and breakfast in all of Fairbanks. Thanks Dale and Jo for making our stay with you so great.

The purpose of our visit to Fairbanks was to photo the northern lights. The accommodations were excellent. Stayed in the apartment and the bedrooms were quiet (anytime of the night or day). The breakfasts were excellent. Being up and outside to 3 or 4 in the morning taking pictures didn’t mean that I was going to miss the real treat of the trip – Jo’s breakfast. Dale and Jo were exceptional hosts. They did whatever was necessary to make our trip a pleasure. The location was very good and convenient for photographing the northern lights, spent 2 of the 4 nights at Dales & Jo’s. The other nights were at Ester Dome, a short drive. The view from Dale & Jo’s made for great daytime photos. Wouldn’t change a thing.

I can't say enough how special the owners of Dale and Jo View Suites are. The best choice we made for our first visit to Alaska and to view the Northern Lights was staying with Dale and Jo. Through years of experience they have mastered their craft. The breakfasts were beyond amazing and different each morning. Everything homemade fresh out of the oven. The accommodations impeccable, but the best part of our trip was feeling like we were staying with family. The Northern Lights did come out for us and thanks to Dale for knocking on our door to wake us up. We had planned on getting up every 30 minutes to look for them, but the bed was so comfortable we slept right through the alarm. This was the perfect place to see the Aurora. We could see them from our room, (The Spa Room), but going outside and watching the Lights with the other guest, just added to the experience and the beauty. We can't recommend this B&B highly enough. The next time we visit Fairbanks, Alaska, we will definitely stay with Dale and Jo.

This is THE place to stay in Fairbanks! During our weekend stay, the hosts were fabulous -- cordial and friendly. We stayed in the beautiful Spa Room with a King Select Number Bed and an immaculately clean, huge en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was served in an impeccably-appointed dining room. Afterwards, we enjoyed our coffee around the table with other guest. The house and hosts are everything you could want (and more). We will absolutely return!

We just stayed one night at Dale and Jo's. It was our 25th anniversary and we could not have choosen better... everything was perfect! The hosts, the room (We stayed at the Spa Room.) and the breakfast. If you are looking for something really special - this is the right place. We would have loved to stay for longer... and would really love to come back in winter to see the aurora!

If you want to stay somewhere that has every comfort and attention to detail available then this is the B & B for you! We arrived pretty frazzled - but left feeling so pampered and spoiled. Dale and Jo will make you feel so special and like you are the only guest in the house. The breakfast is to die for. Jo made everything homemade fresh that morning. We could smell all those great morning breakfast smells in our room which really made hungry. It was more than we could eat, but of course ate it all anyway. Plus this B & B is absolulety spotlessly clean! We can't wait to stay at Dale and Jo View Suites again!

Located a little out of town, but not hard to get to, this B&B offered a very nice bedroom and common room, and the breakfasts were special. You will have to drive anywhere you want to go.
We are glad our guest enjoyed their stay. We are in the borough of Fairbanks just 10 minutes from the University or 15 minutes from the airport. Fairbanks the city is 15 minutes away. The common room mentioned also has a full guest kitchen and dining room plus views of the Alaska Range and confluences of the rivers.

I'm typically not a fan of B&Bs because I feel like an intruder in the person's home and they are rarely designed to reduce sounds throughout the house so I hear every conversation and foot step, but not so with Dale & Jo View Suites. It is so quite that I never hear a peep at all and Jo is a wonderful hostess not to mention a wonderful frittata for breakfast. As if that weren't enough, the rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable (Sleep Number mattress) plus the view is outstanding. Jo makes me feel like a princess everytime and I always stay there when in Fairbanks. I recommend this place to everyone I know who travels to Fairbanks.

We recently spent 4 nights at Dale and Jo's B&B and loved every minute. Like many others who go to Fairbanks in the winter, we'd hoped to see the auroral activity. This B&B is conveniently located in Fairbanks but far enough away from the lights of the city and on a hill to allow for wonderful viewing of the aurora through the multiple view windows in the rooms or outside on the quiet and beautiful property. (We were lucky enough to see the lights the first two nights of our stay.) The whole house is beautifully and artistically decorated; the rooms are very comfortable and warm. Finally, Dale and Jo are gracious, warm, and knowledgeable hosts. You couldn't ask for better accommodations in Fairbanks! Exceptional and very highly recommended!

What a fabulous place to stay hosted by fantastic innkeepers. The setting is gorgeous and tranquil. The front yard is a great place to catch a sunrise or sunset amongst the flowers and trees. The surrounding grounds are delighful for bird watching and relaxing amongst the aspen and birch trees. Dale and Jo couldn't be any better hosts. They are attentive to every need as well as wonderful resources for things to do and places to go in the area. Jo provided us with a map of Fairbanks with points of interest circled and pertinent comments. We will definetely return, hopefully this winter to take in the northern lights.

What a fantastic weekend get-away! This Inn has a great country setting for relaxation and rejuvenation yet is only minutes from the airport, U of A, shopping, restaurants, etc. The food is all home made and so very delicious, and the place was absolutely charming. There is much attention to detail and the special touches make for a truly memorable stay. The hosts, Dale and Jo, are wonderful, and you will leave feeling enriched by meeting them. When you leave, you will be wanting to make plans to return! Highest recommendation!

If you create a list of all the luxuries you hope to find at a B and B, you can check off every item at Dale and Jo View Suites. From the moment we entered the Palm Room Suite we were enchanted by the beautiful decor, number of huge windows, and the heated tile floors. We found a furnished kitchen, table and chairs, and lounge chairs in the living area. Tucked away, were laundry facilities and detergent. The bedroom had all sorts of space and containers for our belongings, and more electrical outlets than we could use. The pillow top mattress, extra pillows, and cozy linens made the bed a warm nest for relaxing. We had a desk with office supplies. In the large bathroom, there was a big shower, bathing chair, generous supply of towels, and places to spread out grooming tools. Each room had abundant lighting. The breakfasts, alone, are reason enough to visit. There are many choices and each is delicious. It would be impossible to set a more attractive table. Dale and Jo are fantastic hosts. They know where to go for food and fun. They provide guests with a VIP card honored by local businesses for discounts and complimentary food. Though not intrusive, they listen intently to comments and suggestions, to be sure they are meeting the expectations of their guests. My husband got sick and Jo brought him soup. I have very limited mobility and my husband was recovering from a broken ankle. The Palm Room Suites was perfect for us.

I know that there are good reviews for this place and now I understand why. The experience could not have been better. The only problem is, I don't know how I will ever stay at another b&b after I have stayed at Dale and Jo View Suites. The house could not have been more comfortable, the food was unbelievable, and the location is perfect. The owners, Dale and Jo, were absolutely a pleasure to get to know. They have great stories to share, and a vast knowledge about Fairbanks. Jo's willingness to answer all of our many questions while planning this trip was priceless. If you are planning a trip to Fairbanks, there is simply no reason you would want to stay any place else. The rates per night are very reasonable especially for the quality of living that the inn provides. I know that I will definitely be staying here the next time I visit Fairbanks, Alaska.

My husband and I recently traveled to Fairbanks for our honeymoon. We were very skeptical of staying in a bed and breakfast simply because we had never stayed in one and did not know what to expect. We however were glady surprised, from the minute our taxi pulled up from the airport Mr. Dale and Mrs. Jo greeted us with smiles. We had a clean and cozy room everyday, and a wonderful breakfast every morning. I am not familiar with any other b&b's in Fairbanks but I do know whenever we go back, which we will for sure, we for stay at Dale & Jo's no matter what. They helped us with every aspect of our vacation from where to go to dinner or what to do during the day. Everything was PERFECT!!

We have stayed at many Inns and B&Bs over the years, and I have to say that I have never stayed at one in which the owners are so in touch to their guests' needs. They obviously love what they do and it shows in the way they accommodate their guests. The food was delicious and creative. Dale and Jo made it feel just like home, but even better, because we didn't have to cook! The location is perfect for getting to any of the great restaurants, the airport, the university or any of the many things to keep one busy. Our hosts were always ready with suggestions for outings. We were in the Flower Room and the bed was just great. I would definitely stay there again.

This an extremely grand B & B and very welcoming and comfortable. The hosts, Dale and Jo, were very helpful and knowledgeable of all aspects of Fairbanks. We were only there two nights and had reserved the Flower Room. This room has been done in colors that are very relaxing and calming. We were treated as though we were old friends. The breakfast was prepared fresh and was quite appealing and delicious. The location of this B & B is within a short drive to the university, airport and most anything you might want to do or take in. We do hope to return soon.

We stayed at Dale and Jo View Suites the summer of 2007, and it was by far the best in all our travels. We stayed in the Spa Room. The room was quite lovely and very romantic. The large and comfy king select number bed gave us the best nights sleep. There is also a sitting area and walk-in closest that was perfect for us to put all of our stuff in. The room also has air-conditioning, which was very nice since it had been a very hot day. The bathroom was just more icing on our cake. The shower is completely tiled and has a hand held shower head on one side, and on the other side there is a shower head along with 4 jet sprays. What a great way to begin or end ones day. The large soaking tub was just as grand which my wife enjoyed very much. The breakfasts each morning was out of this world. Jo is very good at altering the breakfasts to accommodate our dietary restrictions, which no one in all of our travels has ever done before. We felt very spoiled. She had a selection of juices, teas and our own coffee pot all ready for us to just turn on each morning. The owners attention to all the small details made us feel very welcomed and pampered. We would take our breakfasts up to our room so we could enjoy the peace and quiet along with the great views of the Alaskan Range and rivers. We had a great experience at Dale and Jo View Suites. We have already recommended it to our friends, and will definitely be going back for a time of relaxation. This would be a great place to do some Aurora viewing in the winter as well due to it's location. We do hope to make a return trip soon. Thanks Dale and Jo for making our stay with you such a wonderful experience.
