Want to get away from the traffic and the big city life. Quaint on Brooklyn is where you need to hang your hat and relax. With a pond in front, two creeks in back, plenty of walking room, yet close enough to town for those last minute items or that appointment you just have to keep.
A "quaint" getaway for relaxing after a hard day of travel, or a great place to meet up with friends and socialize. Far enough from town yet close enough just in case you need to take care of that last minute item. 31 acres for walking or just taking time out to smell the flowers. A koi pond with a neat little bridge is your entryway into the house with full kitchen, dining room, and living room with wood burning stove. Two porches overlook the one acre pond with plenty of seating for your viewing pleasure.
The Lodge Master suite is roomy and has the feeling of home. The 600 count sheets and downy comforter on the queen size bed are more than enough to make you feel lazy, comfortable and relaxed at the end of your days travel. You might even feel like taking a midday siesta. And why not, its your time. A DVD player with many movies to choose from are at your disposal either to watch downstairs on the 52 inch flat screen TV or in your suite. If you prefer to read, there is available to you an entire library of assorted reading material with many of todays best sellers at your disposal.There is also a desk for your wireless internet and a separate sitting area if you wish to have breakfast in your room. Comfort personified.
This room reminds me of a romantic setting for a couple on their special day. It is known as the Garden Room. With its picket fence queen size bed with 600 count bedding and down comforter, who couldn't resist to lie down and be pampered in luzury. There is a cute little desk if you want to send a quick note home or mail a postcard or write in your diary. Two mint green wicker chairs and a small table are there in case you wish to have an intimate breakfast in your room. A DVD player with flat screen TV and many movies are available for your viewing pleasure, as well as books, if you have time to read.
The front porch. My most favorite place to sit and be at peace and completely comfortable. Three huge fans overhead with a swing overlooking the one acre pond. What else can you want for in tranquility. If you prefer, there is a koi pond that looks like it came out of the Tennessee mountains, filled with goldfish, koi and a small waterfall that will bring a smile to your face. 31 acres to walk, hike, ride a bike, take a prepared picnic basket, use your imagination. If your lucky you may come across mamma dear and her two babies, or those wild gobblers that love to be corn fed.
No live gators in this pool, just room enough to relax and enjoy in the crystal cool waters. Or if you prefer, sunbathe on the deck with the banana leaves swaying in the breeze and the bouganvilla giving off their light fragrance. Maybe not the tropical islands, but close enough.
Is a wedding rehearsal on your agenda? This October event was held outside in covered tents with an abundance of lighting and a personal chef. What a beautiful setting with light cascading over the pond.

There is now a new choice in luxury, comfort and relaxation in the Andalusia area. Located on Brooklyn Road, Quaint on Brooklyn Bed and Breakfast may be within the heart of Andalusia, but it will feel miles away while you vacation or catch up on work away from work. The Bed and Breakfast is a rustic work of art which features three beautiful guest rooms with queen size beds and two full baths, each one having unique and enjoyable views of the surrounding gardens. In addition to the unsurpassed views, the B&B also offers a relaxing front porch where you can unwind and enjoy your complimentary cheese and wine. If sitting on the front porch swing doesn't suit your fancy, might I suggest dipping your feet in our above ground pool after that long day from work or travel? Did I mention the one acre pond that is packed to the gills with bass and brim and the quaint little row boat that goes along with it. As the owner, I take great pride in knowing that every guests needs are personally taken care of and with the utmost in respect, comfort and privacy, from the 600 count beddings to the English Style breakfast with a delicious menu to choose from.

Our family just returned from our second stay at this property. As was the first time, it surpassed what we expected. When we arrived, after getting settled in, Mr. D had prepared a delicious platter of snacks and wine for us. Aside from the mini-pizza slices he made for our little one, the grown up food was incredible. The bruschetta and the raspberry jalapeno cups were out of this world! Carmen and Mr. D set up a toddler bed for our daughter, completely outfitted in girly sheets and dust ruffle. Every night our daughter willingly snuggled in to her "big girl" bed, and was very sad when we had to leave. We enjoyed the use of their wonderful pool each day we were there. They made sure to have blow up toys for our daughter to play with, and set out beach towels, sunscreen, and other water toys for our use. Breakfast each morning was more than enough for one meal, and they encouraged us to keep our leftovers in the fridge to eat throughout the day, which we gladly did. The Belgian waffles, fresh strawberry sauce, and fresh made whipped cream made a wonderfully sinful before bed snack! That is, if we weren't full from the evening snack Carmen makes each night. When we packed up to leave, with boxes of extra goodies for on the road, they sent us off with a coloring project to keep our daughter busy on the long drive. To say this was every bit as good as the first time we were here is an understatement. Carmen and Mr. D have an incredible ability for making you feel at home and like family. We are already planning our return trip, for a longer stay. We highly recommend this Inn.

This Inn is special. Located on 5 acres with a pond and a pool. It is relaxing and beautiful. Carmen the Innkeeper was fantastic, her breakfast was outstanding. Carmen will ask you what time you want to eat breakfast and what would you like for breakfast. The evening wine and snack are almost a meal in itself. Don't make dinner plans after the snacks. We will stay there next time we are in the area and highly recommend it.

The Inn sits on a beautiful piece of property that includes a pond, trails, and mini farm. When we arrived Mr. D made a fantastic cheese platter along with wine, which made for a welcome way to unwind after our drive. We woke up each morning to a delicious breakfast of our choosing, and Carmen made a yummy treat for us each night before bed. They have sincerely thought of everything, and if you think of anything else you want or need they will get it for you. My daughter loved going out each morning and petting the horses & chasing the ducks around. The house and grounds are decorated in beautiful rustic touches that add to the overall cozy feel of the place. Also, you will love the beds! The bedding is beyond comfortable!! The morning we left Mr. D made us delicious breakfast sandwiches to take in the car with us, as we didn't have time to stay for his typical big meal. We are already planning our next trip out to spend time there. If you are looking for a nice, quiet place to spend some time, go to this Bed and Breakfast....you will not be disappointed.

This B&B is charming and lovely, hosted by the very gracious Carmen. Carmen is the ideal hostess! The accommodations were comfy, spacious, with plenty of charm. The welcome wine & cheese platter was delicious, with home cooked goodies and generous portions. The breakfast was fabulous, with generous portions, plus the added charm of eggs fresh from their own chickens! The atmosphere with hilly acreage, horses, peacocks, and chickens add an ambience that you will not find at most B&Bs. Check out their gift selection, including very beautiful stoneware mugs with their B&B logo.
