The 17hundred90 is Savannah's oldest Inn and Restaurant. The inn has 14 rooms, each with private bath, WiFi, HVAC, and gas fireplaces in 12 of the 14 rooms. The Guest House was built in 1875 and the ceilings, hand painted in the 1890's, still remain. It is comprised of three floors, a private bedroom and bath on each floor. Perhaps most famous for our fabled ghost, Anna, said to have fallen in love with a sailor in the 1800's. And having thrown herself from the top floor window tormented by unrequited love, she still haunts room 204. Our inn is rather unique perched atop our full service restaurant and tavern. Lunch is served 11 until 3pm and dinner every night from 5:30 until 10pm with live piano music on the weekends. Visit our website for the full menu.

Room was very clean and surprisingly spacious: even the bathroom was great! Bed was firm, but not unbearably so. Dinner was just OK for the price and with all the good eats in Savannah, we probably wouldn't eat at the restaurant again. Very good location, close to the river front and main strips of restaurants. Definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful time getting away from the hustle and bustle.

I can't imagine why anyone would choose to stay in a chain hotel when they have the option to enjoy the charm and comfort of this inn for the same price. The desk staff was outstanding, and the room was amazing. If you're staying in Savannah, the 17Hundred90 Inn is the perfect way to enjoy the charm of the city. The bar was awesome although we did not eat at that restaurant. I wish we had though. My only comment would be to consider adding a ceiling fan. Completely satisfied!

The room and people were really outstanding!!! Loved the place, and the location couldn't be better. We were very happy with all of that. The dining was acceptable, but not worth the price, and the wine and drinks were not the best. Again though, the people were great, and so was the pianist!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat, but eat elsewhere.

I stayed in room 511 which is actually a room in the 17 hundred 90 Inn's guest house. The guest house is a beautiful fully remodeled Victorian home with two guest rooms, a parlor, dining area and kitchen. When we stayed there, no one else had booked the second room so we had the entire home to ourselves, which was amazing. The room was absolutely beautiful, sparkling clean and incredibly charming. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the parlor, and had went outside several times and enjoyed the view from the balcony. The home is located right downtown Savannah so everything was within walking distance. This honestly was the best place I have ever stayed on a trip.

The staff was amazing - genuinely caring for us and even called when we were later coming in to make sure we were okay. The room was awesome, had a whole floor to ourselves and the proximity to everything was great. Absolutely loved it!

If you are ever planning a trip to Savannah, this is the place to stay!!!! The entire experience was amazing. From the minute we checked in, Patrick went above and beyond!!!!! The atmosphere was beyond awesome. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The history of the building and its charm is simply amazing. We will definitely be planning another trip to come back and visit. Thank you Patrick for all that you did to make our stay so great!!!!

Unfortunately we could only stay one night in "Anna's room". While Anna kept to herself, we loved our stay. The location was perfect for us and we loved the history of the Inn. We didn't get to dine at the restaurant but the menu looked amazing. We will definitely be back and stay longer. The only thing that would have made the room more comfortable for us would have been heavier curtains on the windows to block out the early morning sun.
