Turn right on the New Seward Highway (also known as Highway 1). Set your trip meter to 0. Drive south on the New Seward Highway for approximately 82.5 miles. At the intersection of the New Seward Highway and the Sterling Highway (also known as Highway 1), turn right onto the Sterling Highway towards Soldotna, Kenai, Homer. Drive straight approximately 57 miles until you reach the town of Soldotna. Continue straight on Sterling Highway. At the fourth traffic light, turn left onto Lovers Lane. We are at the end of Lovers Lane, directly on the Kenai River. Total travel time is approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
