    Welcome to Alaska Beach House Bed & Breakfast, a waterfront red cedar home located on a bluff on Juneau's Auke Bay water's edge. Enjoy the scenic setting with pristine mountain views and access to the beach or the Auke Bay stream that runs into the open water directly in front of the the bed and breakfast. Located just minutes from the airport, yet surrounded by wilderness and many miles of hiking and nature trails with access from the house. The mature spruce trees surrounding the home are a favorite perching spot for bald eagles. Observe the ocean and tidal flats below us where waterfowl, salmon jumping and bears are seen daily. A photographers dream. Relax and enjoy the view from your private deck as 15-20 foot tides ebb and flow. Watch as the local fishing fleet head to their fishing grounds from Auke Bay, all surrounded by the majestic Chilkat Mt. range. Let the sound of waves and the running stream be the last you hear before you turn in for the night. The private entrance to your room gives you the privacy to come and go as you please. After a long day of fishing or taking in all the Juneau sites enjoy cable TV on your big screen TV while you relax, or enjoy the large wrap around deck right outside the room as you take in the sunshine, watching the salmon come in to spawn or the ocean views. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or are a business traveler we offer all the conveniences of home and office in a gorgeous coastal waterfront setting. A full breakfast is included at our Beach House Bed and Breakfast including a variety of egg dishes, pancakes, granola cereal, yogurt, fruit, char's famous smoked salmon bagels, tea, coffee, homemade jams and breads. All is served family style between 8-9:00 am either in the ocean view dining room or on our large deck. Let us make your stay in Juneau a comfortable and memorable experience.

    Perfect alaskan vacation

    Our stay at ABH was phenomenal. The perfect spot to stage our Alaskan adventure. We saw eagles around the clock, and loved being able to walk to the beach and freshwater creek. Walking trails are so close and we had no trouble getting around town using public transit. The hostess was so helpful and the accommodations were clean and super comfy. Sitting on the deck at night was a highlight for us.
