Inn Details
A Wildflower Inn is ideally located close to downtown events, shopping, and restaurants. An easy stroll places you in the heart of downtown, or at a breathtaking vista along our walking and biking trails. The house itself is warm and inviting. Furnishings are beautiful and elegantlyappointed. Abundant flowers and the midnight sun are a spectacular summer combination. Glowing lights on the blanketed snow are a winter landmark. Your fun and welcoming hosts will show you the short distance to the train depot, museum, sled dog race, Saturday Market, Egan Convention Center, Sullivan Arena, and other outstanding Anchorage sites. Our attractive guest rooms are comfortably furnished with quilts, comforters, or featherbeds. Our guests are offered gourmet breakfasts with a varied menu each day. Dietary needs can be accommodated by arrangement. Breakfast is served 7:00 am to 9:30 am, or by special arrangement.

Directions from the airport: Drive east (toward the mountains) on International Airport Road to the Minnesota, North exit. Stay on Minnesota Drive approximately 3 miles until Minnesota becomes "I" Street. The Inn is on the NE corner of 13th Avenue and "I" Street. It is a white two-story saltbox style home with a white picket fence and blue trim. For off-street parking, turn right on 13th Avenue and then make an immediate left into the driveway at the back of the house and enter by the south door.

On our last trip to Alaska, a few weeks ago, we stayed there twice. It was a wonderful experience. Clean, welcoming and great breakfast. Wish we had stayed there on our other trips to Alaska but will stay there on our next. Pat from NY
