We stayed in Hughes House for two nights after a long flight from Germany to Canada. And to begin with: It was the best accommodation within our three weeks journey from Calgary to Vancouver. If we ever come back to Calgary we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. The room was very cozy as is the whole house. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Kelly is one of the nicest and most generous guys we met on our travels. And there is, of course, Blanco the little dog. Also a very nice guy:-) After showing us our room, Kelly invited us to glass of red wine and a slice of pizza on the porch. A brilliant start. The next day we had a BBQ for dinner, also made by Kelly. We met other travelers, long term guests and actually neighbors, which was a lot of fun. He also lent us bikes so that we could explore more of Calgary and quicker. What else is there to say? Just: Stay with Kelly and Blanco in Hughes House, you won’t regret it. We hope to be back one day, just to meet them again. Thank you again, Kelly, it was great meeting you. Daniel & Dany
