Hughes'House Bed and Breakfast provides a welcoming, warm atmosphere in an early 1900's setting for those who wish to share it in their travels. Gleaming chrome fixtures and heated marble and tile floors in the ensuite bathrooms update this almost century old home into the new millennium. Guest rooms are all above street level for a quiet, secure stay and rooms are all equipped with flat screen TV's and private baths, Free wireless internet is provided. Located on a quiet street in the heart of Calgary Hugheshouse b&b is within walking distance of the city's downtown, Calgary Zoo, Fort Calgary and the Calgary Stampede.The airport is only a 15 minute drive away. The owner Kelly Smith lives in the house with his son Keaghan, their two West highland terrier dogs Ghostie and Blanco.

Green marble, gold fixtures and heated white tile finish the bathroom while the new broadloom and period style wallpaper complete the bedroom area. There is also a private deck just perfect for two; a quiet place for an early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Dedicated heat controls, flat screen TV with built-in DVD player and free wireless internet will make for a comfortable stay.

This room features a compact modern ensuite bathroom with heated marble floor and a large glass front marble lined shower. An antique writing desk makes catching up on correspondence a pleasure and you'll find the house letterhead and envelopes in the drawer for your use. The room has its own heat control for your comfort and a flat screen TV with built-in DVD player is provided. The queen size bed has a pillow top mattress for a comfortable yet firm feel. As with all the rooms we have new carpets, paint and trim and free wireless internet connection is available.
