Relax by our pool as you enjoy complimentary ice tea or lemonade.Golf privileges at the renowned Plymouth Country Club are extended to all Bradford Cottage guests. Or, if you like, try your hand at numerous other fine golf courses located just a few miles away. Tee times must be reserved in advance.
The breathtaking shores of Plymouth's Long Beach are within walking distance of Bradford Cottage. Enjoy the sun and surf for the day or spend the evening dangling your toes in the sand as you dine at the only beach bar in town.Breakfasts here at Bradford Cottage are a culinary delight. Joanne trained under the tutellage of the famed Julia Child and is excited at the prospect of preparing the perfect morning feast for all her guests!
Enjoy your favorite book in the sunroom area of our country styled kitchen. Cathedral ceilings, skylights and garden views make this an ideal spot to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.Al fresco dining is available any morning the sun is shining. And, don't forget, sitting by the pool in the evening with your favorite beverage is not out of the question -- it's actually pretty standard here at Bradford Cottage.
Enjoy the serenity of our manicured lawns and gardens. Brad and Joanne meticulously care for the natural world by feeding the birds, providing salt licks for the deer, planting flowers that attract bees and butterflies and, most of all, allowing the chipmunks and squirrels to live in harmony. This is our Beachcomber Room -- two twin beds that can be reconfigured into a king bed. Tailored and serene, this room also boasts a reading corner, private bath, air-conditioning and views of the garden. Top of the line bedding and a large screen TV with FIOS makes this a room you won't want to leave!
Our very best room -- The Shellseekers Room! Private access to the patio and pool, an open to nature shower that fits more than one, a large screen TV with FIOS, exquisite linens and an antique loveseat for planning each upcoming adventure -- you'll be hard pressed to need anything more! Our Clamdiggers Room is precious and private. Situated on the side of the house, it has beautiful views of the gardens. It features a brass bed, large screen TV with FIOS, private bath with shower/tub and luxurious linens. You'll wonder why it is our most economical room -- the one that books up most often!
Nantucket for the day. That's easy! It's our favorite island by far and you'll know why soon enough. We'll help you plan your island getaway -- from ferry info, to where to have lunch and the best shopping, beaching and biking!Boston is just a short train ride away or if you prefer -- drive! We suggest taking the train. It's more fun and you'll save money by not needing the parking lots! The train lets you off at South Station and that's where you pick up your on/off tour bus or tour "duck". That's the one that takes you in the water as well as on dry land! You'll love it! Also, we'll give you suggestions on where to find the best seafood on the East Coast! No kidding!
Martha's Vineyard in the spring, summer or fall can't be improved upon. Just gorgeous! A little bit bigger than Nantucket it can still be a perfect day trip. Edgartown is our favorite town (there are 5). And it's just a short ferry ride from Falmouth. Good shopping, sightseeing and eating! And you'll have a chance to see where JAWS was filmed! You can't miss that!!!!!Newport, Rhode Island is all about boating. The home of the America's Cup, downtown Newport is a boater's haven. But that's not all -- take a ride on Ocean Drive and see the most gorgeous views of a lifetime. But don't linger too long, save some time to visit a mansion or two! Our guests are always grateful for the suggestion to take a day trip to Newport! Only an hour away and not to be missed!!
